Connection mechanism, foldable display device and communication device
A connection mechanism includes fixing seats, rotary seats, and transmission gears. Each of the fixing seats includes base and shaft holes provided at two sides of the arc-shaped base. The rotary seats and the transmission gears are clamped between two adjacent fixing seats. Each of the rotary seats includes a seat body, an arc-shaped groove longitudinally penetrating through the seat body, and a teeth structure formed by laterally extending from a middle portion of the seat body below the arc-shaped groove. Each of the two transmission gears includes a rotation shaft and a gear fixed onto the rotation shaft and engaged with the teeth structure, wherein the rotation shaft passes through the arc-shaped groove and includes two ends respectively limited inside the shaft holes of two adjacent fixing seats.
Reveal ports
In an example, an apparatus includes a body moveable relative to a housing, a port coupled to the body, and a guide member to guide the body between positions to reveal the port. In another example, an electronics device includes a port area defined by a housing, a cover to cover the port area in a first orientation, a guide to allow the cover to rotate to a second orientation to reveal the port area, and a positioner member to bias the cover into the first orientation or the second orientation.
Portable electronic device
A portable electronic device includes a first body, a second body, a switching mechanism, a spring and a sliding mechanism. The first body includes a base and an input module slidably disposed on the base. The second body is pivoted to the base of the first body. The switching mechanism is disposed at the input module and is configured to switch an engaging relationship between the input module and the base. The spring is disposed at the base and abuts against the input module. The sliding mechanism includes a rack and a gear set engaged with the rack, wherein the rack is mounted to the input module and the gear set is slidably disposed at the base. The input module is pushed by the spring to slide relative to the base, and the rack slides relative to the base synchronously with the input module.
Electronic device including foldable conductive plate
Various embodiments relate to an electronic device including a foldable conducive plate. The electronic device may include: a foldable housing at least partially foldable via a hinge; a display including a flexible display panel viewable through a front surface of the foldable housing and being at least partially foldable, and a conductive plate disposed on a rear surface of the flexible display panel and supporting the flexible display panel; a circuit board disposed to face at least a portion of a border of the conductive plate in the foldable housing; and at least one conductive connection member comprising a conductor disposed between the conductive plate and the circuit board and electrically connecting the conductive plate and a ground of the circuit board.

Provided is a display device including a housing; a roller installed inside the housing; a display unit wound around the roller; a link having a first arm povitably mounted on the display unit and a second arm pivotably connected to the first arm and povitably on to the housing; a lead screw installed inside the housing; a slider moving on the lead screw according to rotation of the lead screw; a rod having one side connected to the slider and the other side connected to the second arm; a plurality of springs allowing the lead screw to be inserted thereinto, providing an elastic force to the slider, and arranged in series; a spacer located between the plurality of springs and allowing the lead screw to be inserted thereinto; and a damping member supporting a lower side of the spring.
FOLDABLE DISPLAY
A foldable display includes: a display layer having flexibility, the display layer including a first display region, a second display region, and a third display region located between the first display region and the second display region; a cover having flexibility and covering the display layer; a first support substrate having inflexibility and supporting the first display region; a second support substrate having inflexibility and supporting the second display region; a bending portion including the third display region and being bendable; and a shock absorption layer disposed between the display layer and the first support substrate as well as between the display layer and the second support substrate. The shock absorption layer has a slit disposed in a portion overlapping the bending portion.

A display device includes a display panel including a first non-folding area, a folding area, and a second non-folding area and a support plate that is disposed under the display panel and that defines a plurality of openings overlapping the folding area and arranged in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction. The support plate includes a first branch disposed between openings adjacent to each other in the second direction among the plurality of openings and a second branch disposed between openings adjacent to each other in the first direction among the plurality of openings. A first width of the first branch in the second direction is smaller than a second width of each of the openings in the second direction.
COVER WINDOW AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF COVER WINDOW
A cover window includes a first member and a second member attached to the first member. A folding portion and a non-folding portion are defined in the cover window, the folding portion includes an inner surface which is compressed when the cover window is folded and an outer surface which is stretched when the cover window is folded, the first member is closer to the inner surface than the second member is, and the second member is closer to the outer surface than the first member is. The second member includes a plurality of support units in the folding portion and spaced apart from each other.

A separable electronics device includes a first panel having a first zipper component, the first panel including a front housing, display cover glass, a display panel, display electronics, and a first panel-panel interface. The separable electronics device further includes a second panel having a second zipper component, the second panel including a back housing, and a second panel-panel interface, wherein the first panel and the second panel are physically coupled by a mechanical connection of the first zipper component and the second zipper component.
