A display device includes a display panel including a first non-folding part, a folding part, and a second non-folding part which are arranged in a first direction, a first support part disposed below the display panel, a groove is defined in a top surface of a portion of the first support part overlapping the folding part, and the first support part being foldable about the folding part, a second support part disposed in the groove, and a cover layer disposed in the groove and below the second support part.

Variable fin stack

A variable fin stack for cooling components in a chassis of a portable information handling system. The variable fin stack comprises a first array of fins coupled to a first conduit and a second array of fins coupled to a second conduit. When the chassis is in a compact configuration for use in a mobile mode, fins in the second array of fins are positioned between fins in the first array of fins and the chassis maintains a form factor. When the chassis is in an expanded configuration for use in a workstation mode, the second array of fins is withdrawn from the first array of fins and the increased surface area provides increased cooling of components operating at higher power levels.

Foldable electronic device including antenna

Various embodiments relate to an electronic device including an antenna. The electronic device may include: a foldable housing; a flexible display disposed on the foldable housing wherein at least a part of the flexible display is configured to be folded; and a frame disposed on a boundary portion of the flexible display and coupled to a side member of the foldable housing. The side member may include a conductive portion electrically connected to a communication circuit, and the frame may include a low-permittivity material.

WINDOW COVER AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY APPARATUS

Disclosed herein are a display apparatus having an improved structure to satisfy flexibility and durability at the same time and a method of manufacturing the same. The display apparatus includes a display panel to display an image, and a window cover having a first portion disposed to be integrally bent with the display panel and positioned at an inside of a bending direction and a second portion positioned at an outside of the bending direction and having different stiffness from the first portion.

CHASSIS STRUCTURE FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES

A chassis structure is disclosed. A chassis includes a plate-like body in which a foam layer is located between a pair of fiber-reinforced resin plates, and a frame body formed of a thermoplastic resin and joined to a peripheral portion of the plate-like body. The plate-like body is configured such that its peripheral portion is formed by an ear-like joint portion where the pair of fiber-reinforced resin plates are joined together without the foam layer located therebetween, thereby sealing the foam layer inside the pair of fiber-reinforced resin plates. The frame body is joined to the plate-like body in a state where the frame body is in contact with the joint portion.

A cover window includes a plastic layer and a first hard coating layer disposed on an upper surface of the plastic layer. An edge of the cover window includes a vertical side part perpendicular to the upper surface of the plastic layer. A first inclination part is connected to the vertical side part and is inclined with respect to the vertical side part. The vertical side part and the first inclination part include a mechanical processing trace. An edge of the first hard coating layer adjacent to the first inclination part includes a laser processing trace.

COVER FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A magnetic attachment mechanism and method is described. The magnetic attachment mechanism can be used to releasably attach at least two objects together in a preferred configuration without fasteners and without external intervention. The magnetic attachment mechanism can be used to releasably attach an accessory device to an electronic device. The accessory device can be used to augment the functionality of usefulness of the electronic device.

FRONT COVER ASSEMBLY AND TERMINAL

A front cover assembly includes a frame, a cover glass, and a waterproof glue. The frame has a receiving cavity. The cover glass is partially received in the frame. The cover glass has a light exiting face and a lateral face extending from the light exiting face. The cover glass has a step portion located at the lateral face and extending toward the frame. A gap is defined between the step portion of the cover glass and the frame. A waterproof glue fills the gap and directly contacts the step portion and the frame. This assembly can prevent water or dust from entering a terminal device.
