Shielded three-layer patterned ground structure

The present disclosure generally relates to a shielded three-layer patterned ground structure in a PCB. The PCB may be disposed in a hard disk drive. To reduce costs, PCBs are being made with only four total layers separated by dielectric material. Conductive traces in PCBs can have the problem of common mode current flowing through the traces and thus increasing the magnitude of EMI noise. By providing a shielded three-layer patterned ground structure, not only is the cost reduced, but so is the common mode current and the magnitude of EMI noise, all without any negative impact to the differential signal.

Mechanical structure with integrated electronic components

An electronic device may include a mechanical structure that mechanically supports the electronic device. One or more traces may be formed on one or more surfaces of the mechanical structure. Other electrical components may also be mounted on the surface of the mechanical structure and may or may not be connected to one or more of the traces. Additionally, one or more passivation layers may be formed on one or more of the surfaces, traces, and/or other electrical components and one or more traces and/or other electrical components may be intermixed with such passivation layers. In this way, the mechanical structure may be operable to function as an electrical component of the electronic device.

System for field access of data

A system for displaying electronic construction documents includes an enclosure having doors extending across an open side to define an interior volume that is sealable against infusion of dust and water, and a monitor panel extending across the width of the interior volume to define a back chamber between the monitor panel and a back panel of the enclosure. The system includes a purge air system in fluid communication with the back chamber and that is operable, when door are open, to draw in and filter air from outside the enclosure and establish a positive air pressure within the back chamber. The monitor panel includes a perimeter frame with a center aperture and a transparent pane extending across the center aperture for viewing an electronic display therethrough, and is angularly adjustable between a plurality of angled upright positions while maintaining the positive pressure within the back chamber.

An electronic device having a function expansion assembly includes a host, and a function expansion assembly for function expansion of the host. The host includes an opening and a fixing portion. The function expansion assembly includes a functional module and an anti-collision module. The functional module includes an expansion circuit board and an expansion connector disposed on the expansion circuit board. The expansion circuit board is detachably fixed at the fixing portion. The anti-collision module includes a covering and a lid. The covering is detachably fixed at the host and covers the opening, and includes an insertion slot. The lid corresponds to the position of the insertion slot, and is connected in a liftable and covering manner to the covering. The lid blocks the expansion connector by covering the insertion slot.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH A THERMAL AND EMI SHIELD

An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a shield that provides thermal and electromagnetic interference (“EMI”) shielding benefits. The shield is secured with fan assemblies by airtight seals to prevent air leakage and promote a pressured volume when the fan assemblies are running. Further, the shield can direct airflow from the fan assemblies to one or more thermally conductive components, where the airflow can convectively cool the thermally conductive components and exit the electronic device. The shield is made from a metal, and when the shield covers a circuit board, the shield protects an EMI barrier for integrated circuits located on the circuit board. Moreover, the shield can provide a single-piece, monolithic body that provides advantages over multiple shields, such as eliminating gaps in the shield for air leakage and EMI intrusion, increasing air circulation efficiency, and decreasing costs.

A display device includes a display panel including a first area and a second area, a sound generator disposed in at least one of the first and second areas on the display panel, a partition member disposed at a boundary between the first and second areas on the display panel, and extending in a predetermined direction, and a blocking member disposed in at least one of the first and second areas on the display panel, and spaced apart from the partition member.

Base for protecting external welds of hermetically sealed electronic devices

Described herein is a hard disk drive that includes a base and a cover. The base includes a closed end, sidewalls, an open end, and one or more corner portions. The sidewalls extend from the closed end, and the open end is defined by the sidewalls. The closed end, sidewalls, and open end define an interior cavity of the hard disk drive. Each corner portion is proximate a respective intersection of the sidewalls and positioned exteriorly of the interior cavity. The cover is welded to the sidewalls over the open end by a weld bead such that the weld bead is positioned between the interior cavity and the corner portions. The weld bead hermetically seals the cover to the base. Furthermore, at least one of the corner portions is at least substantially flush with the cover.

The present invention relates to a modularized spliced LED display screen including a plurality of unit screens. When assembling, a certain number of the unit screens are assembled in a splicing frame to form a module screen. A number of the said module screens are assembled horizontally to form a large display screen. The present invention forms a module screen by a plurality of unit screens of the same structure, and then assembles a plurality of module screens horizontally to form a large display screen, and the overall assembly method is simple, and is easy to assemble and disassemble.

Information handling system reflective outer housing

An information handling system housing vents air at a grid of openings formed in a wall with a member extending outward from each intersection of the grid to define air channels. Each member terminates with a polished planar surface that reflects light against a flat underlying material. Variable angles of the polished planar surface relative to the plane of the wall creates a presentation of isolated reflections against the flat background that vary based upon a viewing angle of the housing wall.
