Display apparatus
A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a display; a main body on which the display is mounted; a cover; a mounting member configured to separably mount the main body to the mounting member; and a guide member disposed at a back surface of the main body, the guide member including a plate member and side-surface members extending from opposite side surfaces of the plate member, wherein each of the side-surface members has an inclined shape.
VOICE-ACTIVATED ELECTRONIC DEVICE ASSEMBLY WITH SEPARABLE BASE
A voice-activated electronic device including a first portion with a first internal surface having a first attachment structure, and a second portion with a second internal surface having a second attachment structure. The first and second internal surfaces have compatible shapes that permit the first and second portions to be moved from a separated position to a joined position, where when the first portion and the second portion are in the joined position the first and second internal surfaces form a nested arrangement. The first and second attachment structures form a secure but separable connection to one another when the first and second portions are in the joined position. The first and second portions are configured to be joined securely and separated through manual human manipulation of one or both of the first portion and the second portion to move the first and second portions between separated and joined positions.
Computer tower architecture and thermal management
An electronic device can include a housing that defines an internal volume. The electronic device can also include a component within the internal volume that divides the internal volume into a first volume and a second volume. The first volume and second volume can be fluidically isolated except at an aperture defined by the component. An air-moving system can produce a positive air pressure in the first volume and a negative air pressure in the second volume.
Isolated vibration structure for fan bay module and HDD cage
An isolated vibration assembly for a computing device includes a top assembly having a top plate. The assembly further includes a base assembly having a base plate that is generally parallel to and offset from the top plate. A partition assembly is positioned generally perpendicularly between the top plate and the bottom plate, with two partition plates defining an internal space. A plurality of vibration isolators is attached in an interspersed manner to one or more surfaces of the top plate, the base plate, or the two partition plates. A computing device is removably installed within the internal space, generating vibrations that are reduced when passing through the plurality of vibration isolators.
Illuminable icon with a light guide film and an isolation block
An information handling system may include one or more illuminable icons to present information to a user of the system, such as information regarding a status of the information handling system. An illuminable icon may be lit by a plurality of light sources, and light from the plurality of light sources may be diffused across the illuminable icon by a light guide film. Some illuminable icons may have multiple portions that may be separately illuminated to convey different information to a user. An isolation block may prevent light from light sources configured to illuminate one portion of an illuminable icon from illuminating other portions of the illuminable icon. Thus, light for illuminating icons of an information handling system may be diffused and/or blocked to enhance aesthetic appeal of the icons and to prevent user confusion that may result from bleeding of light from one portion of an illuminable icon to another and/or uneven illumination of an icon.

An internal component and external interface arrangement for a cylindrical compact computing system is described that includes at least a structural heat sink having triangular shape disposed within a cylindrical volume defined by a cylindrical housing. A computing engine having a generally triangular shape is described having internal components that include a graphics processing unit (GPU) board, a central processing unit (CPU) board, an input/output (I/O) interface board, an interconnect board, and a power supply unit (PSU).
Latch structure and device with the same
A latch structure includes a moving member, a nut and a screw. The moving member includes a base plate, a receiving portion and a limiting portion. The receiving portion has a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion is connected to the base plate. The limiting portion is disposed at the second end portion of the receiving portion. The nut is fixed into the receiving portion and positioned proximate to the first end portion. The screw is received in the receiving portion and confined to between the limiting portion and the nut.
Manufacturing method of housing
A manufacturing method of a housing includes the following steps: an object providing step, a shaping step, a cooling step, a tempering step and a stamping step. In the object providing step, a semi-finished object is provided. In the shaping step, the semi-finished object is heat shaped to form a plate. In the cooling step, the plate after heat shaping is cooled. In the tempering step, the plate after cooling is tempered at a low-temperature. In the stamping step, the plate after tempering at the low-temperature is stamped at a normal temperature to form a housing.
STOWABLE ACCESSORY DOCKS
In an example, a stowable accessory dock may include an accessory loop and a movable tray disposed adjacent the accessory loop and movable between a stowed position disposed within a housing of an electronic device and a deployed position extending out from the housing. Further, the accessory loop is engageable with the movable tray such that the movable tray is to insert the accessory loop into the housing upon the movable tray being transitioned to the stowed position.
