A collapsible privacy shield may include a base panel and a top panel, the top panel coupled to the base panel by a pivot. The collapsible privacy shield may include a first side panel and a second side panel. Each side panel may be pivotably coupled to the base panel by a lower side panel pivot and to the top panel by an upper side panel pivot. Each side panel may include an upper section mechanically coupled to the top panel and a base section mechanically coupled to the base panel. The collapsible privacy shield may operate as a carrying case for an electronic device when in a collapsed position.

INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM THERMAL AND EMI ENCLOSURES

An information handling system EMI shield system couples to a circuit board to enclose an electronic device in a Faraday cage and includes a surface painted with a graphene paint to aid in dissipation of excess thermal energy from the electronic device. The EMI shield system has a frame that couples to the circuit board and interfaces with ground to define a boundary around an electronic device connector and has a shield that couples as a separate piece over the frame to enclose the electronic device. Graphene paint applied to some or all of the shield encourages rejection of excess thermal energy from within shield.

A display assembly includes a structural framework, a cover forward of an electronic display layer, and an illumination device rearward of the electronic display layer. A rear passageway is provided between a rear portion of the structural framework and a rear surface of the illumination device and is in fluid communication with a front passageway between a rear surface of the cover and a forward surface of the electronic display layer and an illumination device passageway between a rear surface of the electronic display layer and a front surface of the illumination device. A closed loop fan unit adjacent to an entrance to the front passageway and the illumination device passageway creates flows of circulating gas therethrough when activated.

A data storage device is involved in data storage technology. The data storage device of present invention includes a data memory which is placed in a hermetic housing, a power interface of the data memory which is connected to the wireless power transmission unit, and a data transmission interface of the data memory which is connected to the wireless data transmission unit. The wireless power transmission unit and the data transmission unit are placed in the housing. The present invention avoids the damage to the data memory due to the oxidation of the internal conductors.

An information handling system supports multi-radio and multi-antenna wireless communication by routing coaxial cables between the radios and antennas through a cable clip of a conductive material coupled to system ground and interfaced with the coaxial cable ground sheath through an opening formed in the coaxial cable outer casing. A current source of the radio frequency applies a current in phase with the radio signal to the coaxial cable outer casing to suppress crosstalk with coaxial cables of different frequencies.

A desktop computing system having at least a central core surrounded by housing having a shape that defines a volume in which the central core resides is described. The housing includes a first opening and a second opening axially displaced from the first opening. The first opening having a size and shape in accordance with an amount of airflow used as a heat transfer medium for cooling internal components, the second opening defined by a lip that engages a portion of the airflow in such a way that at least some of the heat transferred to the air flow from the internal components is passed to the housing.

A device heater module can be installed within a device such as a server, and can prevent the device from powering on while the temperature of the device is being restored to an operating temperature. The device heater module can prevent the device from powering on by operating a switch to disconnect the device from an external power supply. The device heater module can thereafter actively or passively modify the temperature of the device. After the temperature of the device is restored to within the operating temperature, the device heater module can operate the switch to reconnect the device to the external power supply, thereby allowing the device to initiate a boot process.

An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a housing defining an opening, a driving actuator, a slide door moveable to selectively cover and expose the opening, a link connecting the slide door and the driving actuator, the link linearly moveable in accordance with a driving operation of the driving actuator to move the slide door, a forcible open blocker that is moveable to restrict opening of the slide door when the opening is closed, and to release blockage of the opening of the slide door based on a linear movement of the link, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including: receiving an external input signal and identify whether to expose or cover the opening based on the external input signal, and activating the driving actuator to expose or cover the opening according to a result of the identification.
