A computing device comprises a heat sink including a base and a multi-dimensional thermal dissipation device disposed adjacent to the base. A thermally-conductive grease layer is disposed between and in direct contact with the multi-dimensional thermal dissipation device and the base. A gasket contains the thermally-conductive grease layer between the multi-dimensional thermal dissipation device and the base.

DATA CENTER COMPONENT REPLACEMENT

Described is a system including a server rack comprising a plurality of components, a plurality of touch sensors respectively coupled with the plurality of components of the server rack, and a management system communicatively coupled to the server rack. The management system comprises one or more processors and one or more computer-readable storage media storing instructions, which, when executed by the one or more processors, are configured to cause the management system to perform a method. The method comprises receiving, from the server rack, an indication of a failed component of the plurality of components. The method further comprises receiving, from a first touch sensor of the plurality of touch sensors, a touch indication. The method further comprises transmitting, to the server rack, an indication of whether the first touch sensor is coupled to the failed component.

A portable computer providing high level of security comprises of two completely logically and electrically isolated computer modules within one tamper resistant enclosure. One computer module is for Higher-Security applications (refer higher-security to as “red”) and the other is for Lower-Security applications such as email and internet (refer lower-security to as “black”). The two modules are coupled together to secure Peripheral Sharing Switch that enables intuitive user interaction while minimizing the security risk resulted from sharing same peripheral device.

FUNCTION EXPANSION ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING THE FUNCTION EXPANSION ASSEMBLY

An electronic device includes a frame, a covering structure and a functional module. The frame has an opening and a fixing portion corresponding to the opening. The covering structure and the functional module constitutes a function expansion assembly. The covering structure is used to be detachably fixed at the electronic device and to cover the opening. The functional module includes an expansion circuit board and an operation interface. The expansion circuit board is used to be detachably fixed at the fixing portion, and the operation interface is located corresponding in position to the opening. When the covering structure is detached from the electronic device, the operation interface is accessible through the opening.

DYNAMICALLY ILLUMINATED ELEMENT ON INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM BEZEL

A bezel configured to mechanically couple to a housing for housing components of an information handling system may include one or more mechanical features for mechanically coupling the bezel to the housing, an illuminated element module mechanically coupled to a mechanical structure of the bezel, and a bezel connector having a plurality of pins communicatively coupled to the illuminated element module, the bezel connector configured to communicatively couple the illuminated element module to an access controller of the information handling system housed within the housing, such that the illuminated element module receives instructions from the access controller for displaying a visual behavior relating to a status of the information handling system and displays the visual behavior in response to receiving the instructions.

SERVER INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM SECURITY BEZEL WITH INTEGRATED FILTER COMPARTMENT

A server information handling system is secured by a bezel that couples to an access location, such as an air vent at a front or rear face of a housing. The bezel includes a security structure having a lock and configured to couple directly at the front face or with a bezel extension at the rear face so that the server information handling system can use the same bezel with both a front face or rear face rack mount. The bezel has a lock integrated with the security structure, an air filter that fits over the security structure to filter air flowing into the housing, and a filter brace that captures the air filter by coupling to the security structure over the air filter. The filter brace attaches and detaches at the security structure when the security structure locks a server information handling system housing so that the air filter can be changed while the housing remains secure.

MOUNTABLE VIRTUAL REALITY STATION AND SYSTEM

A mountable virtual reality station and system include a unit body having a plurality of walls including a back wall and a front wall. The back wall is configured for connection with a structure, such as a wall of a room or booth. The unit further includes a touch screen and headset mounting display arranged on the front wall, and a power source connected with the unit body. Preferably, the unit includes a system indicator display, wherein the system indicators are at least one of a power indicator, a Wi-Fi indicator, and a Bluetooth indicator. The unit also preferably includes a virtual reality headset tether connected with the unit body configured for connection with a virtual reality headset.

Display apparatus and control method thereof

A display apparatus includes: a display; a motor configured to rotate the display; a sensor configured to sense rotation of the display; and a processor configured to output a driving signal for rotating the display in a first direction to the motor when an event for rotating the display from a first posture to a second posture occurs and output a driving signal for rotating the display in a second direction to the motor when it is identified that the display collides with an object on the basis of the driving signal output to the motor and a signal received from the sensor while the display rotates.

Locking assembly and enclosure using the same

A locking assembly for a Kensington-locked enclosure can be simply padlocked for security. The locking assembly includes a first connecting member and a second connecting member. The first connecting member is fixed on a base body of the enclosure, the first connecting member comprises a first tongue piece. The second connecting member is fixed on an upper cover of the enclosure, and the second connecting member comprises a second tongue piece. The first tongue piece and the second tongue piece protrude from an outside of the enclosure and fit each other, and a padlock can pass through the first tongue piece and the second tongue piece to lock the base body and the upper cover together and secure the attachment of the Kensington lock.

Cartridge-based computing system

A cartridge-based computing system includes a display stand that connects to a compute module cartridge including a first securing member, a second securing member, and a release member coupled to the second securing member. The display stand defines a securing aperture that engages the first securing member when the compute module cartridge is connected to the display stand, which causes the first securing member to engage a securing element on the display stand and move it into engagement with the second securing member to connect the compute module cartridge to the display stand. The securing element may then be engaged by the release member to move it out of engagement with the second securing member, and into engagement with the first securing member to cause the securing aperture to disengage the first securing member and disconnect the compute module cartridge from the display stand.
