An information processing apparatus is configured to perform at least based on a first parameter set according to an operation on a first operation unit, and also based on an operation on a second operation unit, changing at least either of a position and a direction of a virtual viewpoint corresponding to a virtual viewpoint image, receiving a switching input for switching a parameter set according to an operation on the first operation unit from the first parameter to a second parameter, and based on the second parameter set according to an operation on the first operation unit performed after the switching input is received, and also based on an operation on the second operation unit, changing at least either of the position and the direction of the virtual viewpoint.

Variable frequency drive electric hydraulic material handler
11894788 · 2024-02-06 · ·

A material handler comprises a motor, an interface device, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive an input from the interface device and can include a variable frequency drive (VFD). The controller provides a variable frequency drive (VFD) signal to the motor to control movement of one or more components of the material handler. If the interface device is inactive for a predetermined amount of time, the controller adjusts a frequency of the VFD signal from an operating frequency to a standby frequency with the standby frequency being lower than the operating frequency. Adjusting the frequency from the operating frequency to the standby frequency can include adjusting the frequency of the VFD signal to one or more intermediate frequencies. When adjusting the frequency of the VFD signal, the controller can skip at least one frequency or range of frequencies, for example, to avoid undesirable operating characteristics.

VIRTUAL REALITY BASED PILOT TRAINING SYSTEM

A pilot training system includes a training terminal integrated with a pilot training seat with a seat pan having six degrees of freedom, wherein the training terminal is configured to exclusively provide and render a simulated flight-training environment and to output control signals to synchronize movement of the seatpan with the simulated environment. The system is transportable so that it can be used to provide flight training at a user-selected and repositionable location. The system also may include an instructor terminal located at an instructor site. The training site and the instructor site can be remotely located. The instructor may provide remote instruction or training to a trainee, for example by sending instruction inputs to the training terminal over the network in order to control aspects of the simulated environment.

OPTICAL INDICATION FOR KEYBOARD INPUT SUGGESTION
20180341336 · 2018-11-29 · ·

A computing device is provided, including a keyboard including a plurality of keys. One or more keys may be equipped with a lighting mechanism configured to display an optical indication. The computing device may further include at least one secondary input device and a processor. The processor may detect a secondary input received from the at least one secondary input device, and may determine that the secondary input corresponds to an input function of an application program set to a tutorial mode of operation. The processor may determine that a pre-defined keyboard input of at least one key of the one or more keys also corresponds to the input function. The processor may convey an output to the keyboard including instructions for the at least one key to display the optical indication. The at least one key of the keyboard, upon receiving the output, may display the optical indication.

Navigation keypad

A navigation keypad is disposed in an electronic device including a case and a keypad printed circuit board disposed in the case. The navigation keypad includes an elastic support element and a body. The elastic post includes an elastic post, and a first end of the elastic post has an inclined plane. The body is passing through the case and corresponding to the elastic support element. The body includes a direction keypad portion lean against the elastic post and providing a reload force. The direction keypad portions may be formed on the body for direction control. Therefore, the number of the components and the assembling hour of the navigation keypad can be reduced. In addition, the inclined plane allows the direction keypad portion to be closely in contact with the directional elastic post. Therefore, when one direction keypad portion is pressed, other direction keypad portion would not be affected.

Intelligent player interface messaging for gaming systems

A gaming system includes a plurality of input devices for operating a wagering game feature. A level of adoption is determined and dynamically modified for one or more input devices based upon player interaction during the feature. A tailored level of messaging is presented to the player corresponding to the level of adoption. A level of adoption may be maintained separately for each feature of the wagering game and for each input device. The level of adoption may be based on determined player familiarity, proficiency, desirability, usage, etc., of the input device, during one or more features of the wagering game. The level of adoption for a player, the one or more input devices, and all available feature contexts of the wagering game may evolve during a single gaming cycle session, starting at a predetermined default value and changing in response to player interaction with the input devices and operation of the gaming features. An optional player account allows information to remain persistent over multiple gaming cycles.

ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

An electronic apparatus may include: a communication interface configured to communicate with an external apparatus; a display; at least one memory storing instructions; and at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one memory. The at least one processor may be configured to execute the instructions to: based on content being output on the display, transmit first user interface (UI) information corresponding to a UI related to control of the content to the external apparatus through the communication interface, control the display to output a first control UI together with the content based on the first UI information, and based on a user input being received through a second control UI output on the external apparatus based on the first UI information, control the display to output a guide UI in an input location corresponding to the user input together with the content and the first control UI.
