ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device including a base and an inclination-adjusting element is provided. The base has a receiving recess. The inclination-adjusting element is disposed within the receiving recess. The inclination-adjusting element includes a shaft and an eccentric wheel. The eccentric wheel is configured to rotate around the shaft to raise or lower the base.
Adjustable ergonomic keyboard
An adjustable keyboard having a number of keys is formed in at least two segments which are mutually movable relative to one another using a hinge or joint. Each of the segments of the keyboard has mounted thereon some of the keys. The adjustable nature of the keyboard reduces stress and discomfort to the user by reducing contortion to the user's wrists. More particularly, discomfort to the user caused by pronation of the wrists and/or ulnar deviation of the wrists is reduced. The hinge or joint is in the form of a ball and socket-type joint with a locking mechanism, which preferably includes a pivoted handle, in the form of a lever, used for locking and unlocking the hinge or joint. The surface of at least one of the ball and socket of the joint define a plurality of recesses or a plurality of projections, to provide increased resistance to joint movement.
Keyboard with a two-way rotating support frame
A keyboard with a two-way rotating support frame is provided. The keyboard includes a keyboard body, a mount arranged on the keyboard body, a first rotating member, and a second rotating member. The first rotating member is rotatably mounted on the mount and can be rotated around a first rotation axis; the second rotating member is rotatably mounted on the first rotating member and can rotate relative to the first rotating member around a second rotation axis. The second rotating member includes a support frame which includes a stand base, and a supporting main frame detachably connected to the stand base. The supporting main frame is used for supporting electronic device with a screen.
PERIPHERAL KEYBOARD AND STAND APPARATUS FOR A TABLET COMPUTER
A keyboard and stand assembly includes a keyboard configured with a trigger and a power drive mechanism, and a linkage coupled between a tablet computer holder and the keyboard, the power drive mechanism coupled operatively between the trigger and the linkage, wherein selective actuation of the trigger automatically activates the power drive mechanism, extending and retracting the linkage for raising and lowering the holder relative to the keyboard.
Methods and ergonomic keyboard for data entry with modular keyboard housing and built-in toplights
The present invention incorporates unique methods and components for data entry and typing using the components including an ergonomic keyboard with substantially and uniformly low-profile key elevation in combination with built-in germicidal, non-germicidal light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and laser lights to disinfect and illuminate surface of the lowly situated key caps and adjacent affected surfaces.
COMBINING ELECTROPERMANENT MAGNETS AND MAGNETORHEOLOGICAL FLUID TO MODIFY AN OPERATION OF AN INPUT DEVICE
Aspects of the invention include a computer peripheral device comprising an input element that operates based on a performance characteristic, an electropermanent magnet (EPM) assembly including a permanent magnet configured to generate a magnetic field and a magnetizing assembly configured to set an intensity of the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet, and a magnetorheological (MR) material coupled to the input element. The MR material has a viscosity that changes based on the magnetic field and affects the performance characteristic of the input element.
INPUT DEVICE
An input device according to the present invention includes: a thumb keyboard part having a plurality of keys provided on a wall surface of an upright wall structure; and four-finger keyboard parts connected to one side of the thumb keyboard part and extending to the other side thereof, and having a plurality of keys provided on the surface thereof. The thumb keyboard part of the upright wall structure is provided at one side of the four-finger keyboard part, and thus the plurality of keys are arranged on an upright wall so as to correspond to the horizontal movement of the thumb such that the utilization of the thumb is maximized, thereby enabling improvements of keyboard input speed and work efficiency to be promoted.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS WITH INTEGRATED STAND
Electronic apparatuses and electronic subassemblies having integrated stands are provided. An electronic subassembly includes a display device and a housing coupled with the display device. The housing has an integrated stand that encircles an open area and that projects away from the display device. The electronic subassembly also includes a processor disposed in the housing and that controls information displayed on the first display device. The integrated stand pivots relative to the housing and supports the housing at different angles relative to a surface on which the housing is disposed. Another electronic subassembly may be removably coupled with the electronic subassembly having the integrated stand.
