COMPUTER KEYBOARD WITH ELECTRONICALLY CHANGEABLE KEYCAPS
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to systems, apparatuses, and methods for the projection of images onto keycaps of a computer keyboard.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for enhanced headsets
In accordance with some embodiments, systems, apparatus, interfaces, methods, and articles of manufacture are provided for ascertaining aspects of a user, such as the user's identity, competence, health, and state of mind. In various embodiment, data is captured about a user via a headset worn by the user. Based on the data, a determination may be made about an aspect of the user, and the user may accordingly be granted or denied access to a resource.
Input device backlighting
Input device backlighting techniques are described. In one or more implementations, an input device includes a light guide configured to transmit light, a sensor assembly having a plurality of sensors that are configured to detect proximity of an object as a corresponding one or more inputs, a connection portion configured to form a communicative coupling to a computing device to communicate the one or more inputs received by the sensor assembly to the computing device, and an outer layer. The outer layer has a plurality of indications of inputs formed using openings in the outer layer such that light from the light guide is configured to pass through the openings to function as a backlight. The outer layer also has a plurality of sub-layers arranged to have increasing levels of resistance to transmission of the light from the light guide, one to another.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VIRTUALIZING A COMPUTER ACCESSORY
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, device may perform operations for receiving a signal from an operational space associated with an accessory device, determining hand feature information according to the signal, accessing device location information associated with the computing accessory device, generating hand-device interaction information according to the hand feature information and device location information associated with the accessory device, and transmitting the hand-device interaction information to a virtual reality system, wherein the virtual reality system generates, according to the hand-device interaction information, a virtual hand and a virtual accessory device in a virtual reality image. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
Mouse pad
According to an embodiment, a mousepad comprises a cover layer and an integrated keypad. The cover layer has a lateral extension and an upper surface which is usable for placement (placing, putting down) of a computer mouse. The keypad covers a part of said lateral extension. In an area not covered by the keypad there is a mouse parking area. The mousepad comprises a mouse detector associated with the mouse parking area and a corresponding control unit. The control unit is configured such that the keyboard gets activated when the mouse is inside the mouse parking area and gets deactivated when the mouse is outside the mouse parking area.
Multi-peripheral position-based synchronous lighting
A method includes determining a physical location of each of a plurality of peripheral devices communicatively coupled to a host computing device, the each of the plurality of peripheral devices including a computer mouse; generating a lighting sequence configured to activate visual output elements on the each of the plurality of peripheral devices; and modifying the lighting sequence based on the physical location of the computer mouse relative to at least one of the other plurality of peripheral devices. In some aspects, the plurality of peripheral devices further includes a mouse pad, and modifying the lighting sequence for the computer mouse is based on the location of the computer mouse relative to its position on the mouse pad. In some cases, modifying the lighting sequence for the computer mouse is based on the location of the computer mouse relative to its position to the other plurality of peripheral devices.
Keyboard Cover with Integrated Camera
An integrated computational interface device may include a portable housing having a key region and a non-key region; a keyboard associated with the key region of the housing; and a holder associated with the non-key region of the housing. The holder may be configured for selective engagement with and disengagement from the wearable extended reality appliance, such that when the wearable extended reality appliance is selectively engaged with the housing via the holder, the wearable extended reality appliance is transportable with the housing.
Measuring capacitance
An apparatus may include an input surface, a plurality of key positions on the input surface, a force sensor positioned underneath the input surface at at least one of the key positions, and a proximity controller in communication with a capacitance measuring circuit incorporated into the apparatus.
KEYBOARD GESTURE INSTRUCTION GENERATING METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM THEREOF
A keyboard gesture instruction generating method includes: loading an instruction condition definition table, where the instruction condition definition table includes a plurality of gesture instructions, and each gesture instruction includes a plurality of instruction conditions, and each instruction condition has a corresponding defined value; reading an operating position image obtained by a sensor; converting the operating position image into an operating position data, where the operating position data includes relative position data of keys which are referenced; recognizing a gesture event according to multiple sets of the successive operating position data; obtaining a plurality of detected values of the gesture event and comparing the detected values with these defined values; if these detected values match with the defined values of all the instruction conditions of one of the gesture instructions, stopping tracking of the gesture event; and executing the matching gesture instruction.
KEYBOARD DEVICE WITH BUILT-IN SENSOR AND LIGHT SOURCE MODULE
A keyboard device includes a base, a plurality of keys, a light source module, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a control module. An ambient luminance of the plurality of keys is detected by using the first sensor. When the ambient luminance is less than an ambient luminance at which the second sensor can capture a required image, the control module turns on the light source module to provide a light source for the plurality of keys to improve the ambient luminance, so that the second sensor to can clearly capture the required image and obtain the required data by means of analysis.
