Controller Device And Method Of Use
The invention provides for a controller device and corresponding method to be used with a personal computer. The invention can be used with a computer mouse and/or a keyboard to better provide user inputs. The invention primarily comprises an ergonomic body allowing for a user to comfortably rest their hand and align their fingers with a plurality of input devices. The input devices may be 2-axis joysticks with an integrated switch, keyboard switches, directional pads, or other means of converting a mechanical motion into an electrical signal. The controller device may connect to a personal computer using a USB cable or utilizing wireless technologies. User customization can occur using mechanical connections such as detachable palm rests, thumb caps, and even sections of the body. There are also software customizations such as auto-calibrating the joystick's baseline electrical signal noise and sensitivity and LED colors of various LEDs located within the device.
KEYBOARD FINGER GUIDE
A keyboard finger guide device includes an elongated divider this is positionable horizontally between two rows of a keyboard, and a plurality of curvilinear guides that are secured to the divider perpendicularly and are positionable vertically between a plurality of individual keys of the keyboard. The guides extend above the top surface of the keyboard keys to provide a constant guide for the first two fingers of a user's left and right hands in the typing position at rest. A keyboard with an integrated finger guide is also provided. The keyboard including a plurality of keys having protrusions along a top surface to act as a guide for receiving and aligning a users fingers according to a 10-finger typing method.
KEYBOARD MODULE
A keyboard module including a first body and a second body is provided. The first body includes a first connecting part. The second body is electrically connected to the first body and includes a second connecting part. The second connecting part is movably disposed at the first connecting part, so that the second body is movably disposed at a first position and a second position related to the first body along a first axis. Besides, the second body is rotatably disposed at at least one of the first position and the second position related to the first body along a second axis.
Convertible Keyboard
The present invention is directed to a keyboard having a plurality of components that can be releasably attached to one another to enable expedited customization of the keyboard to a desired configuration. The keyboard includes a base and a plurality of keys. The keyboard may also include a plurality of adapters configured to be releasably attached to the base and/or the keys. One of the adapters is low-profile adapter, while another is a high-profile adapter. As such, the same keyboard can quickly and easily be customized from a low-profile keyboard to a high-profile keyboard, and then again to a low-profile keyboard. Additionally, various adapters may be releasably secured to the keyboard to create other visual appearances, including adapters having different colors, lighting effects, and the like. The adapters can be installed without use of tools and without disassembling the entire keyboard.
Electronic device and keyboard module thereof
A keyboard module, adapted to an electronic device, is provided. The keyboard module includes a bottom plate, a flexible circuit layer, a first key structure and a second key structure. The bottom plate includes a first area and a second area. The flexible circuit layer covers the first area and the second area. A first key structure is arranged at the position of the flexible circuit layer corresponding to the first area. A second key structure is arranged at the position of the flexible circuit layer corresponding to the second area. The height of the first key structure is greater than the height of the second key structure. An electronic device with the keyboard module is also provided.
SMART KEY CAP WITH TRANSCEIVER
A keyboard system comprises a housing and a key structure having a key body and key cap. The key body includes a transceiver circuit. The key cap includes a key cap transceiver and a memory structure storing a key cap ID data and/or a key function data corresponding to a key function. The transceiver circuit can poll the key cap memory via the key cap transceiver and retrieve the key cap ID data and/or the key function data. The keyboard system can determine a mapping of a location of the key cap on the keyboard by polling it and can generate and transmit a control signal to a host computing device communicatively coupled to the keyboard system based to the key cap ID and/or the key function data.
Traverse row pattern tapered shaped inverted key keyboard
A keyboard with key rows in a traversing linear row arrangement that intermesh with the linear row immediately above and/or below, with alternating inverted tapering offset keys. This allows keys to be kept in order while giving each key a less narrow and more broad profile to allow a wider area for the fingers to strike, while not decreasing the number of keys on a line or widening the keyboard and allowing for a more elongated height keyboard over all. This is to make the keyboard more suited to and targetable by human fingers and better use of the finite surface area of the keyboard.
TEXT INPUT KEYBOARD
The character input keyboard. One shift key and one space key are placed on the home position of the left and right thumb, and one control key is placed between them. These keys have the width from 1 to 1.5 times of the character key.
KEYBOARD SET
A keyboard set may be provided on chair armrests.
The keyboard set includes a left keyboard, a right keyboard, a first detachable support, a second detachable support, and two multidirectional angle adjusting mechanisms. Each of the left keyboard and the right keyboard includes a plurality of keys. One end of the first detachable support is combined with the left keyboard, and one end of the second detachable support is combined with the right keyboard. The two multidirectional angle adjusting mechanisms are respectively provided between the first detachable support and the left keyboard, and between the second detachable support and the right keyboard.
ASSEMBLABLE KEYBOARD AND ASSEMBLABLE KEY
An assemblable keyboard includes plural assemblable keys and a main control key. Each assemblable key can be triggered to generate a key signal. The assemblable key includes a pedestal, a key structure and a conductive structure. The main control key includes a key processor and a transmission interface. The assemblable key includes plural coupling structures with the conductive structure. Every two adjacent assemblable keys are combined together and electrically connected with each other through the corresponding coupling structures. After the key signal generated by each assemblable key is transmitted to the main control key, the key signal is further outputted to a computer host. The layout space of the assemblable keyboard is reduced. Moreover, the assembling flexibility of the keyboard is enhanced.
