The mobile computing device is configured to include a processor, a first LCD display unit connected to the processor, and a second diffuse reflecting display unit connected to the processor. The mobile computing device is further provided with a display panel interface, such as a mouse or a gravity detecting device like an accelerometer, configured to detect a property for activating a display type. The processor is configured to send information to be displayed to the first display unit or the second display unit or both depending on the display type property detected.
INPUT DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An input device for use with a first electronic device and a second electronic device includes a frame, a plurality of manually depressible input members supported by the frame, a communication module supported by the frame and operable to selectively communicate with the first electronic device and the second electronic device, and a switch supported by the frame and coupled to the communication module. The switch is operable to change whether the communication module communicates with the first electronic device or the second electronic device. The input device also includes a light source coupled to the switch and positioned at least partially within the frame. The light source is operable to provide a backlight for the plurality of input members. The backlight is modified in response to actuation of the switch.
Hybrid keyboard for mobile device
A mobile device has a user interface comprising a plurality of keys arranged in a plurality of groups. A processor is operatively coupled to the user input device to receive user input from the user input device and to identify which group of keys has received the user input. A display is operatively coupled to the processor for displaying characters corresponding to the keys of the group in response to the user input. The keys may have capacitive touch sensors with haptic feedback.
Controller and image display system having multiple attachment members
A controller for outputting an operation signal to a virtual image display device includes: a controller main body which outputs the operation signal; a first attachment member attached to the controller main body; and a second attachment member which is attached to a mounting site where the controller is mounted, and to which the first attachment member is removably attached. Thus, it is possible to mount the controller on the mounting site by attaching the first attachment member attached to the controller main body, to the second attachment member attached to the mounting site.
COMPUTING DEVICE AND GAME CONTROLLER WITH FLEXIBLE BRIDGE SUPPORTING A KEYBOARD MODULE
A device directed to a combination computing and input device. The computing device providing a plurality of sides, each of the plurality of sides are disposed between an electronic display screen and a back of the computing device. The input device communicates with the computing device and provides a pair of control modules adjacent to and confining the computing device on at least two opposing sides of the computing device. The input device further provides a structural bridge securing the pair of control modules one to the other, a touch sensitive input module, and a transaction system configured for point of sale use. The structural bridge adaptively and snugly accommodate the length of the computing device. A first of the pair of control modules features a retention mechanism communicating with the structural bridge, which snugly accommodates the length of the computing device.
INSTRUCTION INPUT APPARATUS WITH PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPHY FUNCTION
An instruction input apparatus is provided. The instruction input apparatus comprises a keyboard, on which a plurality of buttons are disposed; a camera module, which comprises a supporting bar and a camera, wherein a first end of the supporting bar is connected to the keyboard, the camera is disposed on a second end of the supporting bar so as to protrude the camera from the keyboard, and the camera comprises at least two lens modules for capturing a plurality of image frames; and an image processing unit, which is disposed in the keyboard and is signal-connected to the camera so that the image processing unit receives and processes the image frames for merging the image frames into a panorama image. Therefore, the instruction input apparatus would improve the functionality of the instruction input apparatus and provide function of all viewing angles photographing so that the instruction input apparatus has an advantage of taking all desired images together.
BUTTON STRUCTURE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND GAME CONTROLLER USING THE SAME
The present invention provides a button structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The button structure includes a base made from a first material, a graphic piece made from a second material, and a transparent piece made from a third material, where the graphic piece is integrally formed with the base and protrudes out beyond an upper surface of the base, the transparent piece wraps the base and the graphic piece, and a heat resistance temperature of the first material and a heat resistance temperature of the second material are both higher than a heat resistance temperature of the third material. In addition, the present invention further provides a game controller using the button structure.
Portable keyboard and speaker assembly
A portable keyboard includes: a polygonal pillar-shaped main body having a battery embedded therein; a key assembly connected to the main body, the key assembly having a plurality of key arrangements; and a connecting member formed to extend down to the bottom of the key assembly while connecting the key assembly and the main body to each other, wherein at least one key arrangement in the key assembly allows information to be entered by a touch, a first element is provided to the main body, a second element is provided to the key assembly, and the first element and the second element are attached to each other by magnetic force such that the key assembly is wound.
TIBETAN INPUT METHOD AND SYSTEM
A Tibetan input method and system relates to a character input method having an input module, including 47 input keys and used for inputting Tibetan characters; a keyboard definition module, including a plurality of storage units, each storage unit corresponding to one input key, and stores one or more Tibetan characters; when each storage unit stores a plurality of Tibetan characters, a preset ambiguous layout rule is satisfied; a Tibetan font, used for storing pre-combined Tibetan characters; and a processing device, which is respectively connected with the input module, the keyboard definition module and the Tibetan font, and is used for obtaining initial Tibetan characters corresponding to the input keys according to the keyboard definition module when the user inputs the Tibetan characters through the input keys, determining a target pre-combined Tibetan character according to the initial Tibetan characters and the Tibetan font, and outputting the target pre-combined Tibetan character.
Keyset Fingerprint Sensor with Backlight
Designs and techniques for keyset fingerprint sensors with backlight are described herein. In one or more implementations, a fingerprint sensor is integrated within a keyset of an input device. For instance, a key within an arrangement of keys is adapted to operate as a sensor key having an integrated fingerprint sensor. The sensor key is included within the arrangement of keys rather than being provided as a separate or external component. The sensor key includes a cover and a transmission layer covering the fingerprint sensor. A backlight integrated with the sensor key is arranged to supply light for the backlighting. The backlight is operable to selectively supply light at different times, in different colors, and/or in different sequences to illuminate a pattern on the cover and thereby provide indications indicative of sensing operations performed via the fingerprint sensor.
