DYNAMIC KEYBOARD
A dynamic keyboard able to change and adapt the functionality of the keyboard depending on the scenario in which it is being implemented. Each key can have one or more modes assigned to it that is able to change depending on the use. Groups of keys can have more than one mode assigned to it. Different groups of keys can have different modes assigned to them.
Game controller
A game controller including a first elastic cushion and a first handle is provided. The first handle includes a first port, a first operation interface, and a first affixing part. The first operation interface is electrically connected to the first port, the first affixing part is recessed in a side of the first handle, and the first port is disposed on the first affixing part. The first elastic cushion is disposed on the first affixing part, and the first elastic cushion is sleeved on a mobile device, so that the mobile device is affixed on the first affixing part of the first handle through the first elastic cushion.
Rear seat entertainment system, rear seat entertainment remote controller, and method thereof
A rear seat entertainment (RSE) remote controller and a method thereof are provided. The RSE remote controller includes a sensing module provided with a sensing surface including a biometric sensor and configured to sense a biometric signal and a finger gesture of a user, a main processor configured to provide an AC current to the sensing module, and a short-range wireless communication module configured to transmit one of the sensed biometric signal or the sensed finger gesture to a rear seat monitor through wireless communication depending on an operation mode.
Keys and locks
A key and lock set for a vehicle includes: a vehicle lock set with both vehicle door lock and vehicle engine start lock; a passcode for mechanical lock; a rotary mechanical passcode dialer or push-button mechanical passcode keypad that is mounted in vehicle and accessible from vehicle outside; an electronic key in the form of a card key, tag key, passcode or biometric for an electronic lock, wireless key with a built-in power source, portable electronic appliance with key software or key hardware of cell phone, smart phone, tablet, computer, smart watch, digital camera or digital multimedia player; and an electronic key identifier that is mounted in vehicle for the electronic key.
Deployable key mouse
A computer input device can include a housing, a set of key switch mechanisms positioned in the housing, and a removable key structure that is operable between a first configuration positioned in the housing and a second configuration detached from the housing. The removable key can have a position sensor, wherein in the first configuration, the removable key structure is operable to provide a key-based typing input, and, in the second configuration, the removable key structure is operable as a computer pointing device using the position sensor. The removable key structure can therefore allow comfortable, portable, and precise pointer input for a computer input system.
Backlight keyboard
A backlight keyboard includes a first language keyswitch set having adjacent first and second keyswitches, a first backlight module disposed under the first language keyswitch set, and a masking sheet. The masking sheet is suitable for the backlight keyboard and a second backlight keyboard including a second backlight module and a second language keyswitch set. The first and second keyswitches on the backlight keyboard coincide with a third keyswitch in the second language keyswitch set on the second backlight keyboard. The masking sheet has a first light-exit region layout corresponding to the first, second, and third keyswitches for allowing light to be incident to symbols on the first, second, and third keyswitches. In other words, the masking sheet of the present invention can be applied to different backlight keyboards having different language keyswitch sets.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus controls a general-purpose numerical key unit so as to maintain a state in which a NumLock LED is turned on in the case where a connecting cable of the general-purpose numerical key unit including a NumLock key capable of selectively switching, in a case that the general-purpose numerical key unit is connected to an information processing device including a display screen, a condition when the information processing devices processes an inputted key signal, between a first processing condition in which the key signal is processed as information on a numerical value and a second processing condition in which the key signal is processed as information for moving a cursor displayed on the display screen, and the NumLock LED capable of notifying a user of that the first processing condition is set for the information processing device by being turned on is connected to a connecting portion (step S15).
KEYBOARD WITH NAVIGATIONAL CONTROL FUNCTIONS
A system for navigating a host device, including a host device, a display serving as a graphical user interface (GUI), and a keyboard with navigational control functions is disclosed. The keyboard comprises at least a frame, a plurality of keys, one or more key-top touch sensors, one or more edge touch sensors, and a keyboard communication interface. The keyboard is an all-in-one input device capable of operatively receiving text inputs, mouse cursor inputs, and gesture inputs from a user, sending them to the host device, and controlling a GUI of the host device. Advantageously, the keyboard may replace a conventional keyboard and mouse without sacrificing the individual functionality of either apparatus.
WEARABLE FINGER TAP DETECTION SYSTEM WITH LOW POWER MODE
A method of controlling a wearable tap detection system having a processor and a plurality of sensors for detecting contact by one or more fingers against a surface, including at least one mechanical sensor, includes detecting, as a tap event, a signal from the at least one mechanical sensor that exceeds a predetermined threshold. When the tap event is detected, the processor is switched from a first power mode to a second power mode, the second power mode using more power than the first power mode. Then, using the processor in the second power mode, processing of one or more signals from the plurality of sensors is performed to generate processed signal data. After the processed signal data is generated, the processor is switched from the second power mode to the first power mode. Then, while in the first power mode that uses less power, the processor analyzes the processed signal data to determine one of a character or a command that corresponds to the fingers that contacted the surface at the time of the tap event.
