INSTANT COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM HAVING ESTABLISHED COMMUNICATION CHANNELS BETWEEN COMMUNICATION DEVICES
A communication server and accompanying communication devices allow near instantaneous communication between users of the communication devices. A communication device may be configured with multiple channels, where each channel is assigned a corresponding communication device. As the communication devices are registered with the communication server, each communication device has knowledge of other registered communication devices. Thus, communication devices may communicate nearly instantaneously with each other. Furthermore, as the communication device is equipped with multiple channels, a single communication device may host a conference call with other communication devices. In addition, communication device may include multiple buttons to control the communication device, and indicator lights to indicate the status of calls with other communication devices
TRACKPAD ON BACK PORTION OF A DEVICE

Device, method, and graphical user interface for controlling multiple devices in an accessibility mode
In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at a first device with one or more processors, non-transitory memory, and a display. The method includes displaying, on the display, a device control transfer affordance while operating the first device based on user input from an input device that is in communication with the first device. The method includes receiving a device control transfer user input from the input device selecting the device control transfer affordance that is displayed on the display of the first device. In response to receiving the device control transfer user input, the method includes configuring a second device to be operated based on user input from the input device and ceasing to operate the first device based on user input from the input device.
CHARACTERIZATION OF FORCE-SENSOR EQUIPPED DEVICES
A method of recording measurement data for characterizing a response of a given type of device to an applied force, the given type defining devices of that type as comprising a defined arrangement of a surface and N force sensors of the device concerned, where N≥1, each force sensor configured to output a sensor signal, wherein in the defined arrangement the N force sensors are operatively coupled to a defined input region of the surface so as to sense a force applied to that input region, the method comprising: for a specimen device of the given type, performing at least one measurement procedure, each measurement procedure comprising at least one measurement operation, each measurement operation comprising applying a defined force at a corresponding location on the input region of the device concerned and recording measurement data for that device and location based on the sensor signals of the N force sensors of that device. Also disclosed are a related computer-implemented method of generating a characterization definition for devices of the given type, a computer-implemented method of generating a configuration definition for devices of the given type for a given use case defined by a use-case definition, a method of configuring a candidate device of the given type for the given use case, and a method of assessing or calibrating a candidate device of the given type.
GLASSES WAISTBAND-TYPE COMPUTER DEVICE
The invention discloses a glasses waistband-type computer device, comprising a waistband body, wherein the middle of the front of the waistband body or other parts of the waistband body is detachably installed with a smartphone, and the front of the waistband body is further provided with a left keyboard located on the left side of the waistband wearer's navel and a right keyboard located on the right side of the waistband wearer's navel; the left and right keyboards are connected to the smartphone in a wired manner or a wireless including a Bluetooth manner. During man-machine interaction, the user wears a waistband so that the left keyboard is located to the left of the navel and the right keyboard is located to the right, to form a waistband keyboard. The invention is novel in structure, convenient to use, easy to carry, and can provide a good man-machine interaction mode.
ELECTRONIC LABEL TYPE KEYBOARD
An electronic label keyboard includes a display unit disposed on each content area of a keyswitch, a microprocessor, an input module and an output module. The input module receives and reads at least one keyswitch content file provided by an external device, when the microprocessor is activated from a shutdown mode or a hibernate mode, it reads the file analysis software to analyze a keyswitch label content file and outputs a plurality of the keyswitch display signals, so that the output module controls the plurality of display units according to the plurality of keyswitch display signals to output label contents corresponding to the plurality of keyswitch display signals.
Wall mounted control device with tactile and touch sensing button combination to increase button configurations
A control device comprising a housing assembly, at least one button, and a controller. The housing assembly comprises a front surface including plurality of button zones each comprising a tactile switch and a plurality of touch sensors. The at least one button is adapted to attach to the housing assembly over at least one of the button zones such that a projection extending from a rear surface of the button is aligned with the tactile switch in the at least one of the button zones. The controller determines which button zone and which location of the button zone is actuated in response to receiving signals from at least one of the tactile switches and at least one of the touch sensors.
Tactile touch sensor system and method
A tactile touch sensor (TTS) system and method allowing physical augmentation of a high-resolution touch sensor array (TSA) is disclosed. Physical augmentation is accomplished using a TSA physical overlay (TPO) placed on top of the TSA. The TPO is constructed to transmit forces to the underlying TSA. Force transmission is accomplished by either using a flexible overlay or with a rigid mechanical overlay that transmits user forces exerted on the overlay to the underlying TSA. Incorporation of TPO identifiers (TPI) within the TPO permits identification of the TPO by a TPO detector (TPD) allowing operational characteristics of the TSA to be automatically reconfigured to conform to the currently applied TPO structure by a user computing device (UCD). The UCD may be configured to automatically load an appropriate application software driver (ASD) in response to a TPI read by the TPD from the currently applied TPO.
CALCULATOR
A calculator's input interface includes a knob projecting above the top face of the casing. The knob is provided to allow numbers to be input manually. It is arranged to be able to be switched selectively into a plurality of active positions by tilting it in corresponding directions from an idle position. Each direction corresponds to a different digit to be entered in the calculator. The top face of the casing also has a plurality of first keys associated respectively with mathematical operators, the first keys being positioned relative to the knob in such a way that the ends of the fingers of a user's hand can each be located facing one of the first keys when the palm of the hand is turned downwards and the hollow of the hand covers the end of the knob.
