AUTOMATED WORKFLOW ACCESS BASED ON CLINICAL USER ROLE AND LOCATION
Systems, methods, computer-readable media for automating displays based on admissions, transfers, and discharges are provided. In embodiments, a location associated with a clinician is detected. A role associated with the clinician authenticated to a first device is determined. One or more applications associated with the clinician based on the location and the role is automatically launched on the first device. In embodiments, authentication requests from the clinician are received for a second device. A session associated with the one or more applications is suspended on the first device and resumed on the second device.
REDUCING KEYSTROKES REQUIRED FOR INPUTTING CHARACTERS OF INDIC LANGUAGES
An aspect of the present disclosure provides for determining characters inputted. In an embodiment, a key activated among one or more keys of a keyboard and a sensor activated among one or more sensors associated with one or more fingers are identified. An element or a special function corresponding to the key activated and an element or a special function corresponding to the sensor activated are determined. A character is determined based on the element or the special function corresponding to the key activated and the element or the special function corresponding to the sensor activated. A first set of elements of an Indic language and a first set of special functions are assigned to the one or more keys of the keyboard, and a second set of elements of the Indic language and a second set of special functions are assigned to the one or more sensors.
NUMBER INPUT METHOD, APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure relates to a number input method, a number input apparatus and a storage medium. The number input method is applied to a terminal, the method includes: displaying a number input control, wherein the number input control comprises a number axis, and the number axis comprises a first axis scale; receiving a first touch operation on the number axis, and switching the first axis scale to a second axis scale in response to the first touch operation meeting a preset condition; and receiving a second touch operation on the number axis, and determining a target number according to a position on the second axis scale corresponding to the second touch operation, and displaying the target number.
Conversion and Display of a User Input
Described herein are methods and systems allowing a company to market and advertise its brands, products and/or services in a mobile platform by use of an application converting a user input into a corresponding branded icon, logo or image and displaying the same. The user input is in the form of a text entry from the device keyboard, e.g., a brand name or a generic search word, or a voice or sound input or audio demand from the device speaker. By providing various menu functions associated with the displayed icons, logos or images, the application combines mobile texting with online search or browsing to provide for a much simpler and more convenient mobile experience.
USER INTERFACES FOR DISPLAYING HANDWRITTEN CONTENT ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Some embodiments described in this disclosure are directed to electronic devices that provide for entering text into one or more text-entry regions within a document displayed in a user interface. Some embodiments described in this disclosure are directed to electronic devices that provide for presenting a mark with thickness that depends on the direction in which a drawing input is received. Some embodiments described in this disclosure are directed to electronic devices that provide for presenting simulated marks that merge with or overlap other simulated marks. Some embodiments described in this disclosure are directed to electronic devices that provide for scrolling and movement of a content entry palette in a user interface based on movement of input directed to the content entry palette.
Hand gestures recognition over a switch based keyboard
A computing device may include a keyboard, a switch in mechanical communication with an underside of a key arranged in the keyboard, a processor, a transmit line electrically connected to the processor, a sense line electrically connected to the processor, and the transmit line and the sense line are selectively connectable through the switch when the key is depressed, memory in communication with the processor, and programmed instructions stored in the memory that, when executed, cause the processor to identify changes in capacitance from the sense line when the key is not depressed, identify a hand gesture performed proximate the keyboard based on the changes in capacitance, and execute an action based on at least one the identification of the hand gesture.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOTELY PROCESSING SPEECH-TO-TEXT FOR ENTRY ONTO A DESTINATION COMPUTING SYSTEM
A device and method for using a remote computing system, such as a smartphone or tablet, to convert speech to text through software residing on the system, transmitting the processed text wirelessly and privately to a peripheral, and having the peripheral interface with a destination computing system and appear as a generic human interface device, such as a keyboard, in order to transmit keyboard character codes through the interface to be entered into text boxes or fields on the destination computing system. By appearing to be a keyboard, the peripheral would not be locked out of the destination computing systems, even if the destination computing system is secured against software and hardware installations, restrictions by which other peripheral devices would be limited.
Character editing on a physical device via interaction with a virtual device user interface
In certain embodiments, a message including a plurality of characters may be obtained from an application hosted on a physical client device and a first position of a user interaction with a user interface accessed via the application may be obtained, where the user interface displays the message. A second position within the message may be determined based on the first position. A first and second set of characters may be extracted from the message based on the second position, such that (i) a first number of characters prior to the second position within the message is extracted for the first set of characters and (ii) a second number of characters subsequent to the second position within the message is extracted for the second set of characters. The first and second set of characters may be sent to the physical client device.
SYSTEM FOR MODIFIED KEY ACTIONS AND HAPTIC FEEDBACK FOR SMART TYPING ASSIST WITH A SOLID-STATE KEYBOARD AND TOUCHPAD
A haptic keyboard of an information handling system comprising a coversheet to identify keys of the haptic keyboard, a contact foil and a piezoelectric element to receive an applied mechanical stress at a first key of the coversheet and generate an electric actuation signal. A processor executing instructions of a haptic smart typing assistance system to detect and anticipate a next letter of a word being typed and a controller to receive an instruction of the anticipated next letter and increasing force required actuate at least one key for a letter adjacent to the anticipated next letter, and to send a response haptic feedback control signal to the piezoelectric element to cause the piezoelectric element to generate a first haptic feedback at the first key if the anticipated next letter is selected and to generate a second haptic feedback if a typographical error is detected.
Chinese character entry via a Pinyin input method
A Chinese character Pinyin input method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes displaying on a human-machine interaction interface (HMI) initial keys representing all initials and simple final keys representing all simple finals. The method further includes, in response to an operation with respect to a simple final, displaying on the HMI auxiliary keys corresponding to the simple final, wherein various combinations of the simple final and symbols represented by the auxiliary keys respectively form compound finals starting with the simple final. The disclosed method and apparatus are especially applicable to inputting Chinese characters on a smart device touchscreen.
