Electronic device that provides a letter input user interface (UI) and control method thereof
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a display, a storage unit configured to store a combination rule of letters constituting a word; and a processor configured to provide a letter input UI of a specific language, to predict a first letter inputted on the letter input UI and a second letter to be selected based on the letter combination rule of the specific language stored in the storage unit, and to control the display such that an active area of a key corresponding to the second letter is expansively provided.
Keyboard cover with integrated camera
An integrated computational interface device includes a housing, at least one image sensor, and a foldable protective cover. The housing has a key region and a non-key region, and a keyboard associated with the key region. The foldable protective cover incorporates the at least one image sensor. The protective cover is configured to be manipulated into a plurality of folding configurations, including a first folding configuration, wherein the protective cover is configured to encase the key region and at least a portion of the non-key region, and a second folding configuration, wherein the protective cover is configured to stand in a manner that causes an optical axis of the at least one image sensor to generally face a user of the integrated computational interface device while the user types on the keyboard.
PROGRAMMABLE KEYBOARD SYSTEM
A programmable keyboard receiver adapted to perform a function on a computer when a key is pressed on a keyboard. The programmable keyboard receiver includes: a programmable keyboard receiver input that receives a keyboard key signal from the keyboard when the key is pressed; a programmable keyboard receiver processor that associates the keyboard key signal with a keystroke to type on the computer; a programmable keyboard receiver output that sends an output signal to the computer; and a processor that associates the keystroke with the function to perform on the computer.
Electronic device and method for processing letter input in electronic device
A method for processing a letter input in an electronic device is provided. The method includes, if at least one letter is input, determining at least one input behavior related to the input and if a predetermined delimiter is input, determining whether to disable a function of automatically recommending at least one word similar to an input word, based on the determined input behavior.
Ultrasound based air-writing system and method
A method for motion tracking and text recognition, the method including a step of generating ultrasound waves with a transmitter; a step of receiving the ultrasound waves at a receiver, the receiver including sensors that record the ultrasound waves; a step of estimating with a processor, angle-of-arrival information for the ultrasound waves; a step of associating the angle-of-arrival information with a gesture; a step of extracting features from the gesture; and a step of classifying the gesture as a specific text character based on the extracted features by comparing the extracted features with known text characters stored in one or more templates.
MULTI QWERTY KEY INPUT METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a multi QWERTY key input method, and more particularly, to a multi QWERTY key input method that allows a plurality of characters to be input by a single key using the QWERTY keyboard arrangement.
IDENTIFYING USERS BASED ON TYPING BEHAVIOR
In one disclosed method, a computing system determines, on a first occasion, that a first user typed a first sequence of characters including at least a first character followed by a second character, and determines first data that is based at least in part on a first time interval between first and second interactions by the first user with a keyboard while typing the first character and the second character within the first sequence of characters. On a second occasion, the computing system determines that a person typed a second, different sequence of characters including at least the first character followed by the second character, determines second data that is based at least in part on a second time interval between third and fourth interactions by the person with a keyboard while typing the first character and the second character within the second sequence of characters, and determines that the person is the first user based at least in part on the first data and the second data.
Method for inputting and outputting a text consisting of characters
A method for inputting and outputting a text comprising characters is disclosed, wherein the text is input via an input unit and/or output via an output unit in the form of a combination of full text and short text. The short text is input and/or output including at least one abbreviation in the form of characters or combinations of characters, to which predefined full text contents are allocated.
MOBILE TERMINAL, ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING MOBILE TERMINAL, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An embodiment provides an electronic device comprising a mobile terminal and a case. The mobile terminal comprises: a terminal body coupled to the case; a connection port provided on one side of the terminal body; a control unit; and a first display unit. The case comprises: a first body for containing the terminal body; a connector formed so as to protrude toward the inside of the first body and to be inserted into the connection port; a second display unit for displaying a game executed by the mobile terminal; and a wiring unit configured to electrically connect the first body and the second body. The control unit displays a first application screen on the first display unit, and displays an IME corresponding to the first application on the second display unit. The first application screen and the IME correspond to different display IDs.

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to creating and administering artificial reality collaborative working environments and providing interaction modes for them. An XR work system can provide and control such artificial reality collaborative working environments to enable, for example, A) links between real-world surfaces and XR surfaces; B) links between multiple real-world areas to XR areas with dedicated functionality; C) maintaining access, while inside the artificial reality working environment, to real-world work tools such as the user's computer screen and keyboard; D) various hand and controller modes for different interaction and collaboration modalities; E) use-based, multi-desk collaborative room configurations; and F) context-based auto population of users and content items into the artificial reality working environment.
