SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INPUT RECOGNITION LINGUISTIC RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
20170351420 · 2017-12-07 ·

A system, method and computer program product for use in providing a linguistic resource for input recognition of multiple input types on a computing device are provided. The computing device is connected to an input interface. A user is able to provide input by applying pressure to or gesturing above the input interface using a finger or an instrument such as a stylus or pen. The computing device has an input management system for recognizing the input. The input management system is configured to allow setting, in the computing device memory, parameters of a linguistic resource for a language model of one or more languages, and cause recognition of input to the input interface of the different input types using the linguistic resource. The resource parameters are set to optimize recognition performance characteristics of each input type while providing the linguistic resource with the pre-determined size.

Artificial Reality Collaborative Working Environments

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to creating and administering artificial reality collaborative working environments and providing interaction modes for them. An XR work system can provide and control such artificial reality collaborative working environments to enable, for example, A) links between real-world surfaces and XR surfaces; B) links between multiple real-world areas to XR areas with dedicated functionality; C) maintaining access, while inside the artificial reality working environment, to real-world work tools such as the user's computer screen and keyboard; D) various hand and controller modes for different interaction and collaboration modalities; E) use-based, multi-desk collaborative room configurations; and F) context-based auto population of users and content items into the artificial reality working environment.

SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS FOR DATA ENTRY AT ELECTRONIC USER DEVICES
20230185522 · 2023-06-15 ·

Systems, apparatus, and methods for data entry at electronic user devices are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to cause an electronic device to output an audio output corresponding to a first candidate character, the first candidate character random relative to a second candidate character, the first candidate character and the second candidate character representing potential inputs for a first value in a data entry field of an application of the electronic device; detect a first user selection of one of the first candidate character or the second candidate character; and in response to the first user selection, store the selected one of the first candidate character or the second candidate character in a buffer.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTHENTICATION CODE ENTRY IN TOUCH-SENSITIVE SCREEN ENABLED DEVICES
20170344251 · 2017-11-30 ·

Systems and methods for authentication code entry in touch-sensitive screen enabled devices are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for entering data to a data entry device comprising at least one computer processor and a touch-sensitive screen may include (1) the touch-sensitive screen displaying an input interface; (2) the touch-sensitive screen sensing a first input comprising at least one finger touch; (3) the touch-sensitive screen sensing a release of the first input; (4) the at least one computer processor determining a number of finger touches in the first input; and (5) the at least one computer processor using the number of finger touches in the first input to identify at least a first portion of a value in an authentication code.

Speak and touch auto correction interface
09830912 · 2017-11-28 ·

The disclosure describes an overall system/method for developing a “speak and touch auto correction interface” referred to as STACI which is far more superior to existing user interfaces including the widely adopted qwerty. Using STACI a user speaks and types a word at the same time. The redundant information from the two modes, namely speech and the letters typed, enables the user to sloppily and partially type the words. The result is a very fast and accurate enhanced keyboard interface enabling document production on computing devices like phones and tablets.

MULTI QWERTY KEY INPUT METHOD
20230176729 · 2023-06-08 ·

The present disclosure relates to a multi QWERTY key input method, and more particularly, to a multi QWERTY key input method that allows a plurality of characters to be input by a single key using the QWERTY keyboard arrangement.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INTERACTION BETWEEN TERMINALS
20170329486 · 2017-11-16 ·

A method and device for interaction between terminals are described. The method includes that: a keyboard operation message is received (S101); indication information of a corresponding operated key is acquired according to the keyboard operation message (S102); key meaning information corresponding to the indication information is acquired according to a preset keyboard escape table (S103); the indication information and the corresponding key meaning information are displayed in a shared screen (S104); and the contents displayed in the shared screen are sent to a target terminal when a sharing request of the target terminal is received (S105). According to the embodiment of the method and the device, a sender sends both information of indicating an operated key and corresponding key meaning information to the receiver, and compared with an existing manner of only providing limited one-way propagation, such a manner has the advantages that the receiver may clearly and directly know a practical operation of the sender, and propagation effects between the terminals may be improved.
