INTERFACE, CHARACTER INPUT GUIDE METHOD, AND PROGRAM
20170336965 · 2017-11-23 ·

An interface performs a flick operation with a button selected from buttons of representative characters for each of the syllabic lines of the Japanese syllabary that are array-displayed on a touch panel so as to specify any one of Japanese characters assigned to the representative character in advance. The interface includes a storage unit that stores association information in which up, down, left, and right directions are set to each of the characters assigned to the representative characters in association with each button and a guide image display processing unit that displays a guide image guiding arrangement directions set to the characters assigned to the representative characters prior to selection of a button of the representative character in an outside of an array display region of the representative character.

Method and terminal device for selecting character
09792019 · 2017-10-17 · ·

The present disclosure discloses a method and a terminal device for selecting a character. The method includes: detecting a touch point of a user gesture acting on the touch screen, wherein the touch point falls into a touch point node; searching a plurality of nodes of the contents to find a nearest text node to the touch point, when the touch point node is not a text node; and selecting a nearest character to the touch point within the nearest text node. Therefore, by taking the nearest character to the touch point in the nearest text node as the character selected by the touch point, even if the touch point of a user gesture does not fall on a character, it is still possible to obtain the character selected by the user gesture, thereby repeated selecting operations may be avoided, so as to provide convenience for the user.

METHOD FOR INPUTTING TEXT BY TOUCH PAD
20170293420 · 2017-10-12 ·

The purpose of the present invention is enable Korean text and other text to be more conveniently inputted into devices using a touch pad of a smart phone or the like. The present invention enables the next letter arranged on the same button to be immediately selected without a shift key or a separate function corresponding thereto. The present invention enables the next arranged letter to be selected when any part of a screen is touched while a corresponding letter is pressed, instead of the conventional way of continuously pressing a shift key or the same button within a wait time for inputting a letter also arranged on the same button. Through the present invention, the need for users to change the keyboard is reduced when inputting letters, the number of buttons to be inputted is reduced when one word or one sentence is completed in comparison with conventional input methods, and a wait time is reduced such that it is possible to more conveniently and quickly complete a desired word and a desired sentence.

HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY LINKED TO A TOUCH SENSITIVE INPUT DEVICE
20170293351 · 2017-10-12 · ·

A system that accepts and displays user input from a touch sensitive input device, such as phone touchscreen, while a user is wearing a head mounted display. Since the user cannot directly observe the input device, the system generates a virtual touchscreen graphic showing the location of the user's touch, and displays this graphic on the head mounted display. This graphic may include a virtual keyboard. Embodiments may recognize specific gestures to initiate input, which cause the virtual touchscreen graphic to be displayed on the display, for example as an overlay onto the normal display. The virtual touchscreen graphic may be removed automatically when the system recognizes that an input sequence is complete. The input device may also have position and orientation sensors that can be used for user input, for example to control a tool or weapon in a virtual environment or a game.

USER INTERFACE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SYSTEM

The simple gesture control of the user interface can be used by visually impaired or blind people in order to enter telephone numbers or account numbers for example. The user interface and the method constitute a shift from the current paradigm of guiding a user on touchscreens, which has precisely the advantage of the handeye coordination allowed by the touchscreen, wherein a user touches the exact location on the touchscreen where a corresponding selection surface is visualized. Instead, a swiping gesture is supported which can be carried out in any region on the touch-sensitive surface and shifts the focus from one selection surface or virtual button to the next. The swiping gesture can be carried out not just in the horizontal and vertical direction but also in a diagonal direction. Diagonal swiping gestures allow a particularly quick selection of the corresponding virtual buttons.

GESTURE BASED SYSTEM FOR TRANSLATION AND TRANSLITERATION OF INPUT TEXT AND A METHOD THEREOF

A gesture based system for translation and transliteration of input text, and a corresponding method have been disclosed. The system and method provide for selective translation and transliteration of the input text, based on the gestures performed by a user. When the user performs a left swipe gesture, input text which is in a first language is translated into a language prescribed by the user. In the event that the user performs a right-swipe, the input text is transliterated from a first language, into a language prescribed by the user. The user is also enabled to switch back to the original language of the input text, that is, the first language, by performing predetermined gestures.

Method for Inputting Chinese Phrase
20170277276 · 2017-09-28 ·

A method for inputting a Chinese phrase, and the said phrase includes 2- and 3-Chinese characters, if the phonetic code for inputting the said phrase is full Pinyin for the 1st character and abbreviation Pinyin for the 2nd and 3rd characters and the number of phrases for such a code is more than the presetting value, then the converted phonetic code combinations from the phrase dictionary database of the input method based on the said phonetic code will display on the input interface, that is full Pinyin is kept for the 1st character, all combinations of full Pinyin based on the abbreviation Pinyin are displayed for the 2nd character and abbreviation Pinyin is kept for the 3rd character.

COMPUTING DEVICE CONTACT MITIGATION
20170277287 · 2017-09-28 ·

In one example implementation, a process includes detecting depression of one of a first set of alphanumeric keys for less than a threshold time period, and, in response, triggering keyboard-based accidental contact mitigation (KBACM) with respect to a touchpad for a time period. The process further includes detecting depression of one of a second set of alphanumeric keys for less than the threshold time period, and, in response, not triggering KBACM with respect to the touchpad.

DYNAMIC TOKEN HAVING LOG FUNCTION AND WORKING METHOD THEREFOR
20170249449 · 2017-08-31 ·

A dynamic token having a log function and a working method therefor. After the dynamic token determines that a key interrupt flag is set, a keyboard is scanned to obtain a first key value, and a currently pressed key is judged according to the first key value; if the currently pressed key is a first key, a dynamic password and a log corresponding to the dynamic password are generated; the dynamic password is stored in a display data buffer area, and the log is stored in a log storage area; key interrupt is enabled; and if the currently pressed key is a second key or a combination of a third key and a fourth key, the log is read from the log storage area, and the read log is stored in the display data buffer area. According to the present invention, by recording information related to the completed identity authentication by means of a dynamic token, a user can recheck whether the completed identity authentication is identity authentication completed by himself/herself, thereby improving the security of an identity authentication mechanism and the dynamic token which uses a dynamic password.
