ACCESSORY FOR PRESENTING INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH AN APPLICATION
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, an accessory having a plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, a plurality of light sources, wherein each light source emits a controllable spectrum of light through a corresponding one of the plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, and a controller coupled to the plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, and the plurality of light sources. The controller can be operable to detect tactile contact of each of the plurality of tactile-sensitive buttons, receive status information associated with a video game, and adjust the spectrum of light emitted by at least a portion of the plurality of light sources according to the status information to indicate one or more aspects of the video game. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
SMART TV CONTROLLING METHOD AND SMART TV THEREOF
Disclosed are a smart TV controlling method and a smart TV thereof, the method including: determining currently running UI; obtaining key controlling policy for the currently running UI according to pre-stored mapping between UI and key controlling policy, the key controlling policy indicating adjustment for UI controlling keys; generating controlling instruction according to received key information sent from remote controlling device and key controlling policy for the currently running UI; and sending the controlling instruction to the currently running UI for the UI to perform operation associated with the controlling instruction. The key information sent from the remote controlling device is adaptable to different UIs according to different key controlling policies of different UIs, allowing operations associated with key information be adapted to the requirements of different UIs, so that appropriate adjustments are made to the current running UI according to the user's needs.
UNIVERSAL WIRELESS CONTROL DEVICE
A universal wireless control device containing a handle body, sensors for measuring the position of the body, a units for moving, control buttons, a signal processing unit, a power source, a communication channel with a controlled device, characterized in that the signal processing unit and the power source are located in the handle body of the control device, and the handle body itself has an ergonomic shape, adapted to be covered by the hand, and the units are located in blind reach, and the position sensors of the units for moving of the control device the sensors forms the control axes by manipulation of units for moving or the position of handle body.
CONTROL METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A control method is provided, which is applied to an electronic apparatus including an input device. The control method includes the following steps: detecting whether a setup program exists or not, wherein the setup program includes a plurality of adjusting information; detecting whether the setup program is executed or not, when the setup program exists; receiving a selecting instruction, when the setup program is executed; generating a control signal according to the selecting instruction and the adjusting information; receiving an input signal generated by the input device; and delaying and processing the input signal according to the control signal.
KEY FUNCTION CONTROL METHOD AND TERMINAL
Disclosed are a key function control method and a terminal. The method comprises: monitoring an operation on a first key of a terminal, wherein the operation on the first key at least can trigger a primary function and a secondary function, and the primary function refers to a preset logical function corresponding to the operation on the first key; determining whether the operation on the first key can trigger execution of the primary function according to output of a user interface of the terminal; and if not, controlling to execute the secondary function. Also disclosed is a corresponding terminal.
COMPUTING DEVICES HAVING DYNAMICALLY CONFIGURABLE USER INPUT DEVICES, AND METHODS OF OPERATING THE SAME
A computing device may include one or more dynamically configurable user input devices. In one example, a triggering event, such as, for example, a user input at a user interface of the computing device, may be detected in connection with an application running on the computing device. In response to the detected triggering event, individual elements of the user interface, such as, for example, keys of a keyboard, may be configured, and/or re-configured, to correspond to the input received and/or the application running on the computing device.
Systems and methods for displaying groups of applications via inputs received at a touch-sensitive secondary display
Disclosed herein are systems and methods that enable users to customize operation of a touch-sensitive secondary display. An example method includes displaying, at the touch-sensitive secondary display, a system-level affordance for controlling a system-level feature and an affordance for causing display of representations of user-defined workspaces. Receiving a first input at the affordance for causing display of the representations the user-defined workspaces. In response to receiving the first input, displaying, at the touch-sensitive secondary display, a selectable user interface object corresponding to a first window from a first application and a second window from a second application. Receiving a selection, and in response to receiving the second input corresponding to selection of the selectable user interface object corresponding to the first window from the first application and the second window from the second application, displaying the first window from the first application and the second window from the second application.
System and method for configuration of a controlling device to enable selection of media streams
A controlling device has a configurable key. An overlay, such as a sticker, is provided to the configurable key and includes an indicia representative of media content and machine readable data indicative of an identity of the media content represented by the indicia. A memory of the controlling device stores a correspondence between the configurable key and data indicative of a source of the media content. Upon activation of configured, configurable key, the controlling device uses select command codes from a library of command codes and the correspondence between the configurable key and the data indicative of the source of the media content to transmit one or more commands for causing one or more appliances to access the source of the media content.
Control unit, input apparatus and method for an information and communication system
The invention relates to the controlling of functions of an information and communication system in a vehicle by means of physical keys. A control unit for an information and communication system of a vehicle is equipped for receiving a sequence of sensor signals of different proximity sensors of corresponding different mechanical function keys, to which corresponding first functions are assigned. The control unit is further equipped for detecting a swiping event over the mechanical function keys, wherein a swiping event comprises the fact that the sequence of sensor signals corresponds to the sensor signals of proximity sensors of corresponding adjacent mechanical function keys. The control unit is further equipped for assigning corresponding second functions to the mechanical function keys when a swiping event is detected.
