Visual tracking of peripheral devices
Techniques are disclosed for performing localization of a handheld device with respect to a wearable device. At least one sensor mounted to the handheld device, such as an inertial measurement unit (IMU), may obtain handheld data indicative of movement of the handheld device with respect to the world. An imaging device mounted to either the handheld device or the wearable device may capture a fiducial image containing a number of fiducials affixed to the other device. The number of fiducials contained in the image are determined. Based on the number of fiducials, at least one of a position and an orientation of the handheld device with respect to the wearable device are updated based on the image and the handheld data in accordance with a first operating state, a second operating state, or a third operating state.

Touch display apparatus
A touch display apparatus including a body, a display module, a light control element, and a touch module is provided. The body has an opening. The display module is disposed in the body and is suitable for emitting a plurality of image beams toward the opening. The light control element is disposed to overlap the opening of the body and is suitable for reflecting the image beams coming from the display module to an imaging space to display an image frame of the display module. The imaging space and the display module are located on two opposite sides of the light control element. The touch module is disposed on one side of the light control element and is configured to recognize a touch operation of a user in the imaging space.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DYNAMIC SKETCHING WITH EXAGGERATED CONTENT
A system receives signals indicating positions of a position indicator and indicating of a surface of a physical object. The system obtains a description of a portion of the surface of the physical object based on the signals indicating the positions of the position indicator and the surface of the physical object. The system also determines whether the position indicator is on or over the portion of the surface of the physical object based on the signals indicating the positions of the position indicator. Responsive to determining that the position indicator is on or over the portion of the surface of the physical object, the system obtains and stores coordinates corresponding to an input gesture based on the signals indicating the positions of the position indicator. Accordingly, the position indicator can be used as an input device while disposed on or over an arbitrary physical surface.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RANGING FINDING, ORIENTING AND/OR POSITIONING OF SINGLE AND/OR MULTIPLE DEVICES AND/OR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ORIENTATION AND POSITIONING
A method and apparatus for ranging finding of signal transmitting devices is provided. The method of signal reception is digitally based only and does not require receivers that are analog measurement devices. Ranging can be achieved using a single pulse emitting device operating in range spaced relation with a minimum of a single signal transmitter and a single digital receiver and processing circuitry. In general a plurality of transmitting pulsed emitters may be ranged and positioned virtually simultaneously in 3-dimensions (XYZ coordinates) using a configuration of a plurality of digital receivers arranged in any fixed 3-dimensional configuration. Applications may involve at least one single transmitter to receiver design to determine range, or at least one transmitted reflecting signal off from an object to determine range.
VISUAL TRACKING OF PERIPHERAL DEVICES
A method of performing localization of a handheld device with respect to a wearable device includes capturing, by a first imaging device mounted to the handheld device, a fiducial image containing a number of fiducials affixed to the wearable device and capturing, by a second imaging device mounted to the handheld device, a world image containing one or more features surrounding the handheld device. The method also includes obtaining, by a sensor mounted to the handheld device, handheld data indicative of movement of the handheld device, determining the number of fiducials contained in the fiducial image, and updating a position and an orientation of the handheld device using at least one of the fiducial image or the world image and the handheld data.
ELECTRONIC TRACKING DEVICE AND CHARGING APPARATUS
Managing multiple devices, such as tracking beacons, is challenging, especially as the number of beacons increases. A beacon and a charging station are provided for managing the settings of the beacons. The beacon includes a display with a graphical user interface (GUI) for updating settings. The charging station includes charging ports and a display with a GUI for updating beacon settings.

The tracked region includes a rear tracked section (31A) located on the rear side of operation members (13, 14, and 15) in side view and a front tracked section (31B) that is located on the front side of the rear tracked section (31A) and that extends in a direction different from that of the rear tracked section (31A) in side view.
