Flexible display device including sensing film and metal plate below the sensing film
A flexible display device including a bending area and a plurality of non-bending areas may include a display substrate including a plurality of transistors and a light-emitting element, a sensing film below the display substrate, and a plurality of metal plates below the sensing film, and the metal plates include a soft magnetic material.
Stylus holders
Example stylus holders for an electronic device are disclosed herein. In an example, the stylus holder is coupled to an outer housing of the electronic device. In addition, the stylus holder includes a sleeve that is to transition between: an extended position, in which the sleeve is projected out of the aperture of the outer housing; and a retracted position, in which the sleeve is retracted into the aperture of the outer housing from the extended position. Further, the stylus holder includes a biasing member disposed within the outer housing and coupled to the sleeve. The biasing member is to bias the sleeve toward the retracted position when the sleeve is in the extended position.

Method to be performed by stylus and sensor controller, stylus, and sensor controller
A method to be performed by a sensor controller that periodically transmits an uplink signal, and by a stylus that, upon receiving the uplink signal, determines a transmission and reception schedule for a downlink signal and the uplink signal on the basis of the reception timing of the uplink signal. The method includes executing, by the stylus, an uplink signal receiving operation for a first predetermined period of time according to the transmission and reception schedule. The method includes, responsive to the uplink signal not received through the receiving operation and expiration of the first predetermined period of time, continuing, by the stylus, the uplink signal receiving operation for a second predetermined period of time, instead of transmitting the downlink signal according to the transmission and reception schedule.
Input system
An input system is provided which is capable of mitigating certain inconveniences that may arise due to data processing performed by a host processor. The input system includes a first signal path, a second signal path, and a switch section. The first signal path is used for transmitting a signal from a sensor controller to a display controller through the host processor. The second signal path is used for transmitting a signal from the sensor controller to the display controller without passing the signal through the host processor. The switch section is configured to be able to switch between the first signal path and the second signal path.
Roller module
A roller module includes a supporting seat, a scroll wheel, a linkage rod, a torsion spring, a first magnet, a second magnet and a coil. The scroll wheel is installed on the supporting seat. The linkage rod includes a fulcrum segment, a resisting segment and an effort segment. The torsion spring is connected with the resisting segment. The first magnet is arranged between the second magnet and the effort segment. The coil is arranged around the second magnet. When the roller module is in a tactile mode, the first magnet and the second magnet are close to each other, and the torsion spring exerts a pulling force on the resisting segment. Consequently, the resisting segment is contacted with a toothed region of the scroll wheel. When the roller module is in a non-tactile mode, the resisting segment is moved away from the toothed region.
Foot operated position-based touchpad controller
A controller apparatus includes a capacitive or resistive touch pad having a touch sensitive surface sized sufficient for operation by two human feet. One or more markers are coupled to the touch pad. The markers are configured for use by a computer system for room mapping.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Provided is an information processing device including an input detector that detects a designated position of a display, a tag generator that generates a tag image by associating the position detected by the input detector with input information to be input and displays the generated tag image on the display, and a display processor that displays, on the display, a plurality of pieces of the input information associated with each of a plurality of the tag images generated by the tag generator, based on each of attributes of the plurality of tag images.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
In an information processing apparatus (10a), a light emission control unit (34a) turns on IR LEDs (13) (light emission units) included in electronic pens (12) (operation bodies) in which communication with the information processing apparatus (10a) is established and blinks the IR LEDs (13) included in the electronic pens at timings different from each other in a case where another electronic pen (12) approaches. Then, a light emission recognition unit (32) (detection unit) detects a position according to the IR LED (13) included in each of the electronic pens (12) in association with the electronic pen (12). An input/output control unit (36) (display control unit) displays information associated with the electronic pen (12) at a position corresponding to the IR LED (13) detected by the light emission recognition unit in a case where the electronic pen (12) is in an information input state.
Photodiode array
A photodiode array is provided and includes insulating substrate; photodiodes arrayed in detection region of insulating substrate, photodiodes configured to output signal in accordance with light incident on photodiodes; first switching elements corresponding to photodiodes and including first semiconductor made of oxide semiconductor; gate lines coupled with first switching elements and extending in first direction; signal lines coupled with first switching elements and extending in second direction intersecting first direction; and gate line drive circuit including second switching element that includes second semiconductor made of polycrystalline silicone, gate line drive circuit being provided in peripheral region outside detection region and configured to drive gate lines, wherein photodiodes includes translucent conductive layer that is cathode, and translucent conductive layer overlaps none of signal lines in plan view.
