Technologies for interfacing an input overlay device with a touch screen compute device
Technologies for interfacing an input overlay device with a touch screen of a computing device are disclosed. A computing device includes a touch screen and at least one processor to execute instructions to: determine parameters associated with an input overlay device overlying the touch screen, the input overlay device separate from the computing device, the parameters to identify a first area of the touch screen and a second area of the touch screen different than the first area, the first area corresponding to an area of the touch screen covered by the input overlay device; detect a position of a touch on the touch screen; if the position of the touch is in the first area, determine an input for the computing device based on the position of the touch; and if the position of the touch is in the second area, ignore the touch.
Touch panel for an information processing apparatus
An information processing apparatus includes: a body having a top configured to allow a touch panel to be disposed thereon; and an input auxiliary device. The input auxiliary device includes: a frame including a first holding piece and a second holding piece configured to hold one side and another side of the body, respectively, to mount the frame on the top; and a key unit attachable to a backside of the frame. The one side includes: a card slot; and a second underside extending along the top toward the another side between the top and the card slot. The first holding piece is configured to be locked to the second underside.
ELECTRONIC PEN CARTRIDGE
Provided is an electronic pen cartridge that is replaceable and constitutes an electronic pen by being attached to a cylindrical outer housing having a hollow portion inside, the electronic pen cartridge including an inner housing that is cylindrical, a circuit board housed in the inner housing, a pen pressure detector provided in the inner housing on a side of the inner housing adjacent to a pen tip, a core body that is rod-shaped and presses the pen pressure detector, and a coil provided at a position closer to the pen tip than the inner housing and having a first end and a second end connected to the circuit board, in which at least the coil is covered with a sealing portion made of resin.

OPERATION KNOB APPARATUS
An operation knob apparatus includes a base a conductive transmitting member, an operation member that brings the transmitting member near to and away from a display panel, and a stabilizer disposed between the bases and the operation member. The stabilizer includes a main body, a pair of arms connected to respective ends of the main body, and a pair of base portions and connected to the respective arms. One of the base and the operation member has a holding portion configured to rotatably hold the main body, and the other has a pair of holding grooves respectively configured to slidably and rotatably hold the base portions.
Operation device
An operating apparatus is disposed on a surface of a detection panel including a transparent panel and a sensor panel. An operation body includes an upper wall, an inner peripheral wall, and an outer peripheral wall. A rotary assembly is housed in the operation body. The rotary assembly includes a supporter fixed to the detection panel and a rotational operation member rotatably supported by the supporter. The rotational operation member is rotatable together with the operation body. A press detection conductor is provided at a conductor supporting portion of the operation body. A rotation detecting conductor is provided at the rotational operation member.
MOUSE PAD
According to an embodiment, a mousepad comprises a cover layer and an integrated keypad. The cover layer has a lateral extension and an upper surface which is usable for placement (placing, putting down) of a computer mouse. The keypad covers a part of said lateral extension. In an area not covered by the keypad there is a mouse parking area. The mousepad comprises a mouse detector associated with the mouse parking area and a corresponding control unit. The control unit is configured such that the keyboard gets activated when the mouse is inside the mouse parking area and gets deactivated when the mouse is outside the mouse parking area.

Touchscreen Interface
A method for aligning an input interface (240) of a touchscreen (230) with an overlay (210) for the touchscreen (230) is provided. The method comprises receiving a touch input on the touchscreen (230), wherein the touch input identifies a first position on the touchscreen (230) corresponding to an alignment mark (220) of the overlay; determining, based on the received touch input, a region of the touchscreen (230) in which to render the input interface (240); and rendering the input interface (240) in the determined region of the touchscreen (230).
INPUT DEVICE WITH MOVABLE HANDLE ON CAPACITIVE DETECTION SURFACE AND CAPACITIVE COUPLING DEVICES
An input device includes a capacitive detection device, which has a detection surface while forming a first array of array electrodes associated with the detection surface, that are arranged so as to cross one another several times while being electrically insulated to form one junction point at the locations where they cross one another; an electronic evaluation unit, which is electrically connected to the array electrodes to form an associated electric measuring field array for the spatially resolving detection of a capacitive influence on the detection surface; a handling means mounted on the detection surface movable along an adjustment path parallel to the detection surface to perform an operating input by a manually effected movement along the adjustment path; and at least one position indicator moved along with the handling means to capacitively influence at least one measuring field of the measuring field array.
