METHOD FOR OUTPUTTING COMMAND BY DETECTING OBJECT MOVEMENT AND SYSTEM THEREOF
20220326784 · 2022-10-13 ·

The present invention discloses a method for outputting a command by detecting a movement of an object, which includes the following steps. First, an image capturing device captures images generated by the movement of the object at different timings by. Next, a motion trajectory is calculated according to the plurality of images. Further next, a corresponding command is outputted according to the motion trajectory. The present invention also provides a system which employs the above-mentioned method.

PROXIMITY-BASED CONTROL OF MEDIA DEVICES FOR MEDIA PRESENTATIONS

Embodiments relate generally to electrical/electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, portable, wearable, and stationary media devices. RF transceivers and/or audio system in each media device may be used to wirelessly communicate between media devices and allow configuration and other data to be wirelessly transmitted from one media device to another media device. The proximity detection system may be configured to detect a presence of a user or multiple users and upon detecting presence, access content on a user device, and record the content while also playing back the content on the media device. One or more user devices in proximity of the media device post detection may wirelessly communicate with the media device and the media device may orchestrate handling and/or queuing of content from those devices or from a wirelessly accessible location such as the Cloud, Internet, NAS, Flash memory, or other wireless sources.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXTENSIONS TO ALTERNATIVE CONTROL OF TOUCH-BASED DEVICES

Systems and methods of multi-modal control of a touch-based device include receiving multi-modal control inputs from one or more of voice commands, a game controller, a handheld remote, and physical gestures detected by a sensor; converting the multi-modal control inputs into corresponding translated inputs which correspond to physical inputs recognizable by the touch-based device; and providing the corresponding translated inputs to the touch-based device for control thereof, wherein the translated inputs are utilized by the touch-based device as corresponding physical inputs to control underlying applications executed on the touch-based device which expect the corresponding physical inputs.

CONTACTLESS CONTROL PANEL

Method including providing a sensor including light emitters, photodiode detectors, and lenses arranged so as to direct light beams from light emitters exiting lenses along a detection plane, and so as to direct light beams entering lenses at a specific angle of incidence onto photodiode detectors, mounting the sensor on a display presenting virtual input controls for an electronic device, such that the detection plane resides in an airspace in front of the display, activating light emitters to project light beams through lenses along the detection plane, wherein at least one of the light beams is interrupted by a finger, detecting light reflected by the finger, identifying emitters that projected the light beam that was reflected and photodiode detectors that detected the reflected light, as emitter-detector pairs, calculating display coordinates based on target positions associated with the identified emitter-detector pairs, and transmitting the calculated display coordinates to the electronic device.

Systems and Methods for Prompting a Log-In to an Electronic Device Based on Biometric Information Received from a User

An example method is performed at a device with a display and a biometric sensor. While the device is in a locked state, the method includes displaying a log-in user interface that is associated with logging in to a first and second user account. While displaying the log-in user interface, the method includes, receiving biometric information, and in response to receiving the biometric information: when the biometric information is consistent with biometric information for the first user account and the first user account does not have an active session, displaying a prompt to input a log-in credential for the first user account; and when the biometric information is consistent with biometric information for the second user account and the second user account does not have an active session on the device, displaying a prompt to input a log-in credential for the second user account.
