Projection device and projection method, for projecting a first image based on a position of a moving object and a second image without depending on the position
A projection device according to the present disclosure includes a sensor unit (for example, a camera), a detection unit, a controller and a projection unit. The sensor unit detects an object. The detection unit detects a moving object (for example, a person), a first object, and a second object based on a signal output from the sensor unit. The controller generates a projection image such that a first image corresponding to the first object is projected on a first projection region and a second image corresponding to the second object is projected on a second projection region. In this case, the first image is determined based on a position of the moving object, and the second image is determined without depending on a position of the moving object. The projection unit projects the projection image.

An electronic device includes a display panel, an integrated circuit and a connection line. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a display component and a sensing unit, the second substrate is opposite to the first substrate, the display component is disposed on an inner surface of the first substrate, and the sensing unit is disposed on an inner surface the second substrate. The integrated circuit is for driving the display component and the sensing unit. The connection line is disposed on a side surface of the second substrate. The sensing unit is electrically connected with the integrated circuit through the connection line.
CAMERA-BASED MULTI-TOUCH INTERACTION APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An apparatus, system and method controls and interacts within an interaction volume within a height over the coordinate plane of a computer such as a computer screen, interactive whiteboard, horizontal interaction surface, video/web-conference system, document camera, rear-projection screen, digital signage surface, television screen or gaming device, to provide pointing, hovering, selecting, tapping, gesturing, scaling, drawing, writing and erasing, using one or more interacting objects, for example, fingers, hands, feet, and other objects, for example, pens, brushes, wipers and even more specialized tools. The apparatus and method be used together with, or even be integrated into, data projectors of all types and its fixtures/stands, and used together with flat screens to render display systems interactive. The apparatus has a single camera covering the interaction volume from either a very short distance or from a larger distance to determine the lateral positions and to capture the pose of the interacting object(s).
METHOD FOR DRIVING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
The liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate provided with a terminal portion, a switching transistor, a driver circuit portion, and a pixel circuit portion including a pixel transistor and a plurality of pixels, a second substrate provided with a common electrode electrically connected to the terminal portion through the switching transistor, and liquid crystal between a pixel electrode and the common electrode. In a period during which a still image is switched to a moving image, the following steps are sequentially performed: a first step of supplying the common potential to the common electrode; a second step of supplying a power supply voltage to the driver circuit portion; a third step of supplying a clock signal to the driver circuit portion; and a fourth step of supplying a start pulse signal to the driver circuit portion.
INPUT UNIT FOR CONTROLLING A DISPLAY IMAGE ACCORDING TO A DISTANCE OF THE INPUT UNIT AND USER
There is provided an input unit adapted for non-contact input manipulation, which permits a user to smoothly accomplish an intended input manipulation. The input unit includes: a position detecting portion for detecting a position of a manipulating object such as a user's hand manipulating the input unit; a position change detecting portion for detecting a change in the position of a point on the manipulating object based on a detection output from the position detecting portion, the point being the closest to the position detecting portion; and an image display section. The position change detecting portion detects the change in the position of the point closest to the position detecting portion in a predetermined area. The image display section changes the display image according to a detection output from the position change detecting portion.
