Digital-pointer interaction system and method of digital-pointer interaction
A digital-pointer interaction system is provided, which includes a display apparatus, a host, a wireless receiving device, and a plurality of wireless pointer devices. The host plays a display screen on the display apparatus, and executes a digital-pointer application. The digital-pointer application renders a plurality of pointer cursors on the display screen according to a number of wireless pointer devices connected to the wireless receiving device, and each wireless pointer device corresponds to each pointer cursor. Each wireless pointer device periodically emits an indication signal to the wireless receiving device, and the wireless receiving device transmits the indication signal to the host. The indication signal includes displacement information of each wireless pointer device. The digital-pointer application controls movement of each pointer cursor on the display screen according to the displacement information of each wireless pointer device.
Working machine
A display device for a working machine, includes: a plurality of candidate boxes in which candidate setting information to be set to the working machine is represented, the candidate boxes being displayed on a screen; and a contents display portion in which a setting item relating to the working machine is displayed. The display device includes a display control portion to move a display box to a position corresponding to the contents display portion in performing the setting to the working machine, the display box being one of the plurality of candidate boxes in which candidate setting information corresponding to the setting is displayed.
Working machine
A display device for a working machine, includes: a plurality of candidate boxes in which candidate setting information to be set to the working machine is represented, the candidate boxes being displayed on a screen; and a contents display portion in which a setting item relating to the working machine is displayed. Display device and operating method therefor
Provided are a display device and an operating method therefor. The display device include a user input interface configured to receive a signal from a remote control device, a wireless communication interface configured to receive image data from an external device and control data of the external device, a display configured to output a screen of the external device by using the received image data, and a controller configured to control the display to change a pointer display mode of the remote control device based on the control data of the external device received while outputting the screen of the external device.
PROVISIONAL SELECTION DRIVES EDIT SUGGESTION GENERATION
Edit automation enhancements may be implemented in source code editors and other text editors. Provisional selections that indicate user intentions are submitted to a suggestion generator with other edit context information, to improve the quality of generated text suggestions and reduce the cognitive load on users. A provisional selection may include a highlighted completion list entry, or document text targeted by a hovering cursor, or metainformation text targeted by the hovering cursor, for example. An inline grey text suggestion driven by provisional selection may be displayed simultaneously with completion list suggestions that were created without regard to provisional selection. Suggestions driven by provisional selection may be interleaved with existing document text. Suggestions may be accepted fully in one gesture, or in parts. Suggestions may be edited by a user before being accepted, driving further suggestion refinement. Multiple suggestions may be displayed simultaneously, reducing pressure on the suggestion generator.
Interactive Graphical User Interface for Monitoring Computer Models
A computing system establishes a hierarchy for monitoring model(s). The hierarchy comprises an association between each of multiple measures of a measure level of the hierarchy and intermediate level(s) of the hierarchy. An intermediate level comprises one or more of a measurement category or analysis type. The hierarchy comprises an association between the intermediate level(s) and at least one model. The system monitors the model(s) by generating health measurements. Each of the health measurements corresponds to one of the multiple measures. Each of the health measurements indicates a performance of a monitored model according to a measurement category or analysis type associated in the hierarchy with the respective measure of the multiple measures. The system generates a visualization in a graphical user interface. The visualization comprises a graphical representation of an indication of a health measurement for each of measure(s), and associations in the hierarchy.
Avatar Editing Environment
An avatar editing environment is disclosed that allows users to create custom avatars for use in online games and other applications. Starting with a blank face the user can add, rescale and position different elements (e.g., eyes, nose, mouth) on the blank face. The user can also change the shape of the avatar's face, the avatar's skin color and the color of all the elements. In some implementations, touch input and gestures can be used to manually edit the avatar. Various controls can be used to create the avatar, such as controls for resizing, rotating, positioning, etc. The user can choose between manual and automatic avatar creation. The avatar editing environment can be part of a framework that is available to applications. One or more elements of the avatar can be animated.

The described technology is directed towards having UI elements structured in a hierarchical configuration, in which parent and child UI elements communicate via a virtualization interface. A change to any parent UI element view propagates to each impacted descendant, e.g., each child, any children of that child and so on, whereby each child can manage virtualization and rendering based upon the change. Focus changes among the UI elements are also handled by propagating information via the virtualization interface.
