User-defined message timelines
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for creating and managing custom timelines. One of the methods includes receiving, from a user using a user account of a social messaging platform, input to a user interface displaying a message timeline of a social messaging platform, the user input requesting that the platform save a first message from the message timeline and, in response, saving the message to a custom timeline of the user account, wherein saving the message to the custom timeline includes associating with the custom timeline an identifier that identifies the first message; monitoring engagements by one or more other accounts with the first message with respect to one or more notification criteria; and in response to determining that the monitored engagements satisfy a trigger condition, providing a notification to the user account associated with the first message through the custom timeline.
User Interface for Real-time Online Payment User Input
A user interface that captures the user input of payment amount during real-time online events (e.g. live podcasts, live stream videos, online games). The user utilizes their personal computer or mobile device to drag a graphic object displayed in the user interface. The amount of fund to be sent is proportional to the time length of the user's drag motion. The user interface allows users to control the input value by timing the release of the graphic object. Further, a component to display count up of input value may be utilized as part of the user interface to provide user feedback.
PRINTING DEVICE
Provided is a printing device that performs printing using a recording material, the printing device including: an capacitive touch panel; a home operation portion including a mechanical key for transitioning from a screen displayed on the capacitive touch panel to a basic screen including information on a remaining amount of the recording material; and a power supply operation portion including a mechanical key for shifting a power state of the printing device, in which the home operation portion is closer to the capacitive touch panel than the power supply operation portion.
Dynamic widget for displaying status information
Methods, apparatus, and processor-readable storage media for implementing dynamic widgets for displaying status information are provided herein. An example computer-implemented method includes executing a software widget configured to display, on a user device, status information associated with a plurality of items of an online data source; obtaining the status information from an application server via a first application programming interface, wherein the application server maintains at least a portion of the status information in a local database using a second application programming interface associated with the online data source; and updating a graphical user interface of the software widget to display the status information on the user device.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENGAGING AN ONLINE GROUP DURING AN ENTIRE GROUP LIFECYCLE
There is provided a method for engaging an online group during an entire group lifecycle using a group activity server that is communicatively connected with user devices associated with users. The method includes (i) obtaining a first input associated with a group activity for a group from a first user device associated with a first user, (ii) obtaining a group activity tool template from a group activity tool template repository, and (iii) generating a GAT based on obtained GAT template and the first input, (iv) creating a first notification badge, and a second notification badge on the generated GAT, and (v) incorporating the generated GAT in user interfaces of the user devices associated with the members of the group to enable members of the group to participate in the generated GAT, thereby engaging the members of the group during the entire group lifecycle.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING EXECUTION SCREEN OF APPLICATION, OPERATING METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An electronic device is disclosed and includes a display and at least one processor operatively connected with the display. The at least one processor is configured to, when an application is executed, display an execution window corresponding to the application on the display, display the execution window, as a first shape of execution window, on at least a portion of the display, in response to a background switch request for the application, identify a state of the application while displaying the first shape of execution window, and switch the first shape of execution window into a second shape of execution window according to the state of the application.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING VIRTUAL CHARACTER TO CAST SKILL, DEVICE, MEDIUM, AND PROGRAM PRODUCT
A method for controlling a virtual character to cast a skill includes: displaying a first virtual character and a skill control configured to cast a ranged skill; in response to detecting a trigger operation on the skill control: displaying a ranged skill indicator to indicate a casting range of the ranged skill based on a user control, the casting range having a first boundary point based on a location of the first virtual character and a second boundary point based on a location of the drag control. The method changes at least one of a shape and an area of the casting range in response to a drag operation on the drag control. The method allows a user to efficiently attack enemy virtual characters in accordance with a determination that locations of the enemy virtual characters are scattered, improving a processing efficiency of an electronic device.
RANKED CHOICE ON AN ABSOLUTE SCALE
Methods, systems, and non-transitory machine-readable mediums for ranking on an absolute scale include displaying, on an electronic display, a first handle, a second handle, and an interactor, determining a value of the first handle and a value of the second handle based on their respective positions on the interactor, in response to a user dragging the first and second handles on the interactor, and determining a rank of the first and second handles based on the values of the first and second handles, in response to the user dragging the first and second handles on the interactor.
