Nested Query Execution Tool
Techniques for executing operations associated with sub-sets of queries in a set of nested queries are disclosed. A graphical user interface displays individual sub-queries as separate visual representations. Based on detecting a selection, a system executes a selected query in the set of nested queries, without executing parent queries in the set of nested queries. Based on detecting another selection, the system exports a selected query without exporting parent queries of the selected query. The system copies the metadata describing the selected query and transfers the metadata to another set of nested queries. Based on detecting another selection, the system displays a results count for a selected query. The system displays a number representing the number of results returned by the selected query, without displaying the query results.
System and method for providing an interactive visual learning environment for creation, presentation, sharing, organizing and analysis of knowledge on subject matter
The embodiments herein disclose a system and a method for providing an online web-based interactive audio-visual platform for note creation, presentation, sharing, organizing, and analysis. The system provides a conceptual and interactive interface to content; analyses a student's notes and instantly determines the accuracy of the conceptual connections made and a student's understanding of a topic. The system enables the student to add and use audio, visual, drawing, text notes, and mathematical equations in addition to those suggested by the note taking solution; to collate notes from various sources in a meaningful manner by grouping concepts using colors, images, and text; and to personalize other maps developed within the same environment while maintaining links back to the original source from which the notes are derived. The system highlights keywords in conjunction with spoken text to complement the advantages of using visual maps to improve learning outcomes.

System and method for data visualization using machine learning and automatic insight of outliers associated with a set of data
In accordance with various embodiments, described herein are systems and methods for use of computer-implemented machine learning to automatically determine insights of facts, segments, outliers, or other information associated with a set of data, for use in generating visualizations of the data. In accordance with an embodiment, the system can use a machine learning process to automatically determine one or more outliers or findings within the data, based on, for example, determining a plurality of combinations representing pairs of attribute dimensions within a data set, from which a general explanation or pattern can be determined for one or more attributes, and then comparing particular values for attributes, with the determined pattern for those attributes. Information describing such outliers or findings can be graphically displayed at a user interface, as text, graphs, charts, or other types of visualizations, and used as a starting point for further analysis of the data set.

Variable-speed phonetic pronunciation machine
A machine causes a touch-sensitive screen to present a graphical user interface that depicts a slider control aligned with a word that includes a first alphabetic letter and a second alphabetic letter. A first zone of the slider control corresponds to the first alphabetic letter, and a second zone of the slider control corresponds to the second alphabetic letter. The machine detects a touch-and-drag input that begins within the first zone and enters the second zone. In response to the touch-and-drag input beginning within the first zone, the machine presents a first phoneme that corresponds to the first alphabetic letter, and the presenting of the first phoneme may include audio playback of the first phoneme. In response to the touch-and-drag input entering the second zone, the machine presents a second phoneme that corresponds to the second alphabetic letter, which may include audio playback of the second phoneme.

Controlling production resources in a supply chain
Methods and systems for controlling production resources in a supply chain are described. The system automatically generates predicted supply chain operational metrics across a nodes of a supply chain. The system automatically infers causal factors that impact the predicted supply chain operational metrics. The causal factors include a change to a utilization of the production resource. The system communicates a user interface including production runs being scheduled on the production resource including a user interface element representing the scheduling of the production run associated with a value at risk. The system receives input causing a change to the utilization of the production resource. The change to the utilization of the production resource impacts the predicted supply chain operational metrics including the value at risk associated with the scheduling of the production run.

Subtitle presentation based on volume control
Systems and methods are provided for presenting subtitles. The systems and methods include accessing, by a user device, a video discovery graphical user interface that includes a plurality of videos; receiving a user input that gradually reduces volume of the user device; determining that the volume of the user device has gradually been reduced by the user input until a mute state has been reached in which audio output of the user device is disabled; and in response to determining that the volume of the user device has gradually been reduced until the mute state has been reached, automatically causing subtitles of a first video of the plurality of videos to be displayed during playback of the first video.
