METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENTERING TEXT IN PORTABLE TERMINAL
A method and an apparatus for entering text in a portable terminal are provided. The method includes focusing on a selected text field and displaying a SIP, when the predefined text field is selected from among text fields, scroll-displaying the text fields in a display area in response to a requested scroll, when a user requests the scroll of the display area of the text fields, and identifying, from a result of the scroll display, whether the selected text field is being displayed in the display area, and determining whether text is to be entered into the selected text field.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPLAY OF INFORMATION USING A VEHICLE-MOUNT COMPUTER
A system and method displays information using a vehicle-mount computer. The system includes (i) an input device and a display device for inputting and displaying information; (ii) a motion detector for detecting vehicle motion; (iii) a proximity sensor for detecting proximity to an item; and (vi) a vehicle-mount computer in communication with the input device, the display device, the motion detector, and the proximity sensor, the vehicle-mount computer including a central processing unit and memory. The vehicle-mount computer's central processing unit is configured to store information associated with user-selected information from the input device and to display a zoomed view of the user-selected information on the display device. Further, the vehicle-mount computer's central processing unit is configured to override screen-blanking when user-selected information is displayed.
Systems and Methods for Cloud-based Data Exchange, Synchronous Interaction, and Generating User Interfaces
Systems and methods are provided for using a cloud-based infrastructure to synchronously interactions with data between a plurality of disparate computing devices, tools for analysis of data, and user interface compositions that enable ease of interaction. Tools or features may be provided that may aid interactions with the data including geospatial touring and/or side by side scenario comparison.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INK DATA GENERATION, INK DATA RENDERING, INK DATA MANIPULATION AND INK DATA COMMUNICATION
A method implemented by a transmission device to communicate with multiple reception devices that respectively share a drawing area with the transmission device is provided. The transmission device transmits to the multiple reception devices vector-data ink data representative of traces of input operation detected by an input sensor of the transmission device. The method includes: (a) an ink data generation step of generating fragmented data of a stroke object, wherein the stroke object contains multiple point objects to represent a trace formed by a pointer, the fragmented data being generated per defined unit T, and generating a drawing style object; (b) a message formation step of generating messages including the drawing style object and the fragmented data; and (c) a transmission step of transmitting the messages.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING ACCIDENTAL TOUCH OPERATION ON MOBILE TERMINALS
The present disclosure provides an accidental-touch prevention method and apparatus for a mobile terminal. The method includes: receiving by the application layer an accidental-touch-prevention-area configuration instruction, the accidental-touch-prevention-area configuration instruction includes coordinate parameters of the accidental-touch prevention area; based on the accidental-touch-prevention-area configuration instruction, calling by the application layer the interface of the driver layer to set up the one or more accidental-touch prevention areas on the touch screen of the mobile terminal.
APPLICATION CUSTOMIZATION USING A CUSTOMIZATION FILE
Techniques and systems for receiving and using a customization file are provided, including a computing device, a method, or a computer-program product. For example, a method may include receiving a customization file that includes customized content for customizing a communication interface overlay. The method may further include accessing native application code and executing the native application code to run a native application. The method may further include accessing a compiled set of code that is separate from the native application code. The compiled set of code is accessible by the native application code. The method may further include executing the compiled set of code, wherein a default file of the compiled set of code provides a native communication interface overlay, wherein the native communication interface overlay is overlaid over a graphical interface of the native application, and wherein the native communication interface overlay allows communication with a resource of a third-party. The method may further include executing the received customization file, wherein executing the received customization file customizes the compiled set of code, and wherein the customized compiled set of code customizes the native communication interface overlay to provide a customized communication interface overlay.
COMPUTER IMPLEMENTED METHOD AND COMPUTER DEVICE
A computer device comprises at least one memory configured to store computer code and a display. A processor causes the display to display at least a part of a list of different game options which when selected allows a game to be played. Responsive to input from a user to scroll through the list, the display will display one of the different game options in a game option area which is at a predetermined position with a larger area than at least one other game option area associated with a respective different one of the game options.
USER-FRIENDLY TRANSACTION INTERFACE
Methods and systems for facilitating electronic transactions on a mobile communications device are described. Available funding sources for sending funds to a contact from a list of contacts is provided for display on a graphical user interface (GUI) of a mobile communications device. A selection of a funding source from the available funding sources is received from the mobile communications device. In response to receiving a selection of the funding source, a payment indicator is provided for display on the GUI. A touch input associated with the payment indicator is receiving via the GUI. A transaction amount is determined based on a contact point dependent measurement of the touch input. The determined transaction amount along with the payment indicator is provided for display on the GUI.
Method for Scaling Down Effective Display Area of Screen, and Mobile Terminal
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method for scaling down an effective display area of a screen, and a mobile terminal, to continuously scale down an effective display area of a screen according to a user's requirement. The method in the embodiments of the present disclosure includes: displaying, by a mobile terminal, first content; when an obtained first operation satisfies a preset condition, sensing a second operation; determining, according to a preset correspondence, a scale-down proportion corresponding to the second operation; and continuously scaling down an effective display area of a screen of the mobile terminal according to the scale-down proportion such that the first content is displayed on a scaled-down effective display area.
