An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: in a case where an intended image forming device is caused to perform printing of an image indicated by print data via a server device in a manner that the print data is transmitted to the server device in response to an instruction from a user while the print data is held in a storage unit, and then a printing instruction is performed on the image forming device by the user, and printing with the print data has been ended at a predetermined timing, execute a process of deleting the print data from the storage unit.

A printing system includes: a first printer; a second printer; a server device; and a client device. The first printer is configured to perform: receiving first authentication information; accessing, in response to determining that first authentication performed according to a first authentication method is successful, the server device using first account information; receiving, from the server device, a print job stored in association with user identification information included in the first authentication information; printing an image based on the print job. The second printer is configured to perform: receiving second authentication information including the user identification information; accessing, in response to determining that second authentication performed according to a second authentication method is successful, the server device using second account information; receiving, from the server device, the print job stored in association with the user identification information; and printing the image based on the print job.

An image forming apparatus capable of controlling execution of inspection without increasing a time period required to complete printing. On a registration screen, whether or not to execute inspection of data to be printed is set, and keywords indicative of confidentiality are registered. Text information is extracted from the data to be printed, and whether or not any keyword matching the text information has been registered is determined. Execution of print processing of the data to be printed is controlled based on a result of the determination. When non-execution of inspection is set, the print processing of the data to be printed is executed without executing the determination, whereas when execution of inspection is set, the print processing of the data to be printed is controlled based on a result of the determination.

A print system comprises a printing apparatus and a server system. The server system stores a file uploaded from an information processing apparatus, generates a print code based on a request for issuing a print job from the information processing apparatus and transmits, to the information processing apparatus, the generated print code. When the server system receives the print code from the printing apparatus, the server system generates a print job based on the file being associated with the received print code, and makes a print instruction based on the generated print job to the printing apparatus. The printing apparatus displays a screen that accepts input of the print code from a user, transmits, to the server system, the inputted print code, and executes printing based on the print instruction according to the print job.

A supporting program is executable by a controller of an information processing apparatus and corresponds to a printer connected to the information processing apparatus. The supporting program causes the information processing apparatus to perform processing intermediate image data in accordance with a print parameter received in a print parameter editing process, displaying an image indicated by the processed inter mediate image data on a print preview screen. The information processing apparatus does not restrict printing when print continuation is instructed, while restricting the printing when re-edit or print cancel is instructed.

An image forming apparatus includes an interface and a control circuit. The interface is configured to connect a contactless card reader. The control circuit is configured to acquire identification information read from an information recording medium by the contactless card reader and to decrease a field intensity level of the contactless card reader in response to a success of authentication of the identification information.

In a print system, a user terminal generates a print job including identification information of an apparatus user of an image-forming apparatus designated by a terminal user and transmits the print job to an information processing apparatus (print server). The apparatus user of the image-forming apparatus requests a list of print jobs including identification information of the apparatus user to the information processing apparatus. When receiving target print job data from the information processing apparatus together with the print job list, the image-forming apparatus executes the print job in accordance with an operation of the apparatus user specified by the terminal user.

A printing apparatus includes a communication interface, a user interface, a memory, and a controller. The controller is configured to, in response to receiving a print instruction, perform printing of internal data stored in the memory, in response to a cancel instruction being input via the user interface, determine whether to cancel the printing of the internal data stored in the memory, based on whether the print instruction has been received via the communication interface or the user interface, and when the print instruction has been received via the communication interface, continue without canceling the printing, whereas when the print instruction has been received via the user interface, accept the cancel instruction and cancel the printing.

A printing apparatus includes a controller configured to perform a storage printing process that includes receiving a print job containing a first user name via the communication interface, storing the print job in the memory, and performing printing based on the stored print job when the first user name matches a second user name after accepting the second user name input via the user interface. When a cancel instruction has been input via the user interface while the printing based on the stored print job is being performed in the storage printing process, the controller cancels the printing based on the stored print job. When the cancel instruction has been input via the user interface while the print job containing the first user name is being received in the storage printing process, the controller continues the storage printing process without canceling the receipt of the print job.

An image processing apparatus that prevents erroneous use of paper by enabling registration of user identification of a user who can use a paper feed deck in information about each paper feed deck of the image processing apparatus and controlling paper feeding so that just the user associated with the user identification can use a paper feed deck to which the user identification was added.
