Provided is a client device configured to communicate with a server via a network, the client device comprising: one or more memories; and one or more processors that execute a set of instructions to: acquire counter information which is totaled according to performing a job by the client device and is stored in the one or more memories; determine whether the client device has been performed at least one job during acquiring the counter information; reacquire counter information in a case where it is determined that the client device has been performed at least one job during acquiring the counter information; and transmit the reacquired counter information to the server.

A process display system includes a display terminal including a first processor and a process management system that includes a second processor and that communicates with the display terminal. The first processor or the second processor performs control of whether to update display of process information regarding a process. The process information is displayed by the display terminal. The control is performed on a basis of a change level of the process information on the display terminal.

A service printer includes a printer printing unit that executes a print function, a scanning unit that executes a scan function, a printer communication unit that acquires, from a service providing server that provides a delivery service of delivering ink, status information indicating at least one of the status of a contract for use of the delivery service and the status of payment of the usage fee for the delivery service, and a printer controller that enables or disables execution of the print function and execution of the scan function based on at least one of the contract status and the payment status that are indicated by the status information acquired by the printer communication unit.

Techniques for identifying location of an imaging device within a networked environment are described. According to an example of the present subject matter, jobs received by the imaging device from client devices are analysed to ascertain a level of utilization of the imaging device by each of the client devices. A location of each of the client devices is also determined. From amongst the locations of the client devices, a location for the imaging device is identified based on the level of utilization of the imaging device by the respective client devices.

According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which may be stored instructions that when executed by the processor, may cause the processor to access first identification information associated with the apparatus and send a portion of the first identification information to a server. A list of second identification information may be received from the server having portions that match the sent portion of the first identification information. In some examples, the processor may determine that the apparatus is authorized to communicate apparatus data of the apparatus to a services provider server based on a determination that the first identification information matches a second identification information among the received list of second identification information. Based on a determination that the apparatus is authorized to communicate the apparatus data, the processor may communicate the apparatus data over a network to the services provider server.

Provided is a control apparatus including: a first obtaining unit configured to obtain information on a first print setting from a printer, the first print setting being settable for printing by using the printer; a second obtaining unit configured to obtain information on a second print setting in a case of printing; a determination unit configured to determine whether or not the information on the second print setting obtained by the second obtaining unit is included in the information on the first print setting obtained by the first obtaining unit; and a notification unit configured to issue notification to a user in a case where the determination unit determines that the information on the second print setting is not included in the information on the first print setting.

A printing system includes an information processing device and a printing apparatus that is communicably connected to the information processing device, and prohibits a setting operation on the printing apparatus when the setting of the printing apparatus is performed from the information processing device.

An image forming system includes at least one piece of image forming apparatus and a server. The at least one piece of image forming apparatus transmits a sleep notification when entering a sleep mode which is a power saving state, and transmits a wake-up notification when returning from the sleep mode to a non-power saving state. The server monitors the sleep notification and the wake-up notification. When a specific image forming apparatus of the at least one piece of image forming apparatus has been in the sleep mode for at least a certain period of time, the sever issues a power-off command to the specific image forming apparatus, so that the specific image forming apparatus shuts off automatically. Before issuing the power-off command, the server delivers a power-off notice to the user who has used the specific image forming apparatus.

The method includes obtaining information of a remaining amount display color displaying a remaining amount of a consumable supply, obtaining the information of a background color in a displaying area displaying the remaining amount of the consumable supply, and changing a display content in the displaying area on the basis of the remaining amount display color and the background color.

In some examples, a computing device can include a processing resource and a memory resource storing instructions to cause the processing resource to receive an authentication signal from an imaging device, authenticate the imaging device using the authentication signal, and transmit print enablement data to the imaging device to enable print job functionality for the imaging device in response to authenticating the authentication signal.
