An information processing device includes: a processor configured to: specify plural parts for manufacturing an ordered product; specify plural processes required from receiving an order of the product to completion of the product; for an intermediate part generated by processing at least two of the plural parts, generate an object indicating the intermediate part; for each of the plural parts, generate work objects indicating processes required for manufacturing the part, for a part to be manufactured by offset printing among the plural parts, generate work objects that treat printing plate parts corresponding to the number of plates obtained as a result of prepress as parts; and create workflow information that arranges and displays, the work objects indicating the processes required for manufacturing the part in an order of the plural processes, and relates and displays, for each of the plural parts, work objects indicating processes executed continuously, wherein in the workflow information, the intermediate object indicating the intermediate part is associated with the work objects for the at least two parts used to generate the intermediate part.

The control unit changes between a first setting and a second setting of a collaborative function, the second setting being different from the first setting, at least one of a display position of an image and display of connection between images, the image and the images each being associated with a function to be used for the collaborative function.

An information processing apparatus configured to control a cooperation operation that is to be executed by a first apparatus and a second apparatus, executes: determination processing of determining whether the target data associated with operation identification information for identifying the cooperation operation is stored in the storage unit when the operation unit receives a user operation of inputting a start instruction to start the cooperation operation; data transmitting processing of transmitting the target data to the second apparatus through the communication unit when it is determined in the determination processing that the target data is stored in the storage unit; and operation instruction processing of transmitting operation instruction information for executing the first operation to the first apparatus through the communication unit when it is determined in the determination processing that the target data is not stored in the storage unit.

An information processing system includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to analyze a print job taken out of a printer queue storing the print job for ordering an execution of printing; transmit the print job to an output device when an analysis of the print job indicates that the print job is a re-input job that is input to the printer queue again after being taken out of the printer queue; execute a predetermined processing when the analysis indicates that the print job is not the re-input job; embed re-input information indicating that the print job is the re-input job into the print job after the predetermined processing is executed; and return the print job having been edited to the printer queue.

Systems and methods associated with resource provisioning are disclosed. One example method includes dividing a set of printing resources into a first partition and a second partition. The example method also includes provisioning the first partition to handle print jobs from a print queue that have a specified attribute. The first partition may be provisioned when print jobs having the specified attribute exceed a first predefined threshold.

An information processing apparatus includes an obtaining unit and a display controller. The obtaining unit obtains pieces of identification information for identifying plural target devices that cooperate with each other. The display controller controls display of a cooperative function that is executed through cooperation between the target devices identified by the pieces of identification information.

A method, a system, a server, and a computer readable medium are disclosed for a server connectable to at least one printer to judge an error level, which includes (a) receiving a notification of a given error which has occurred at a given printer; (b) judging on whether there is an unfinished job corresponding to the given printer; (c) judging on whether the unfinished job can be redirected to other printer than the given printer; and (d) determining an error level for displaying the given error based on the judgment at step (c).

The external device controller is configured to control connection, writing, and reading of an external memory device. The management unit is configured to manage a mount state and unmount state of the external memory device. An information processing apparatus generates drawing data by using printing data and setting information about printing. The information processing apparatus includes a conversion unit that converts the setting information about printing into setting information for the apparatus; a plurality of drawing data generating units that generates the drawing data based on the printing data and the setting information for the apparatus; and a generating unit controller that analyzes the setting information for the apparatus to select one of the drawing data generating units and controls the selected drawing data generating unit in a control procedure corresponding to the selected drawing data generating unit.
