A setting storage device, includes: a storage unit that stores setting information and adjustment information to be associated with each other; and a control unit that in case that first setting information is introduced, compares contents in relation to predefined items of first adjustment information associated with the first setting information with corresponding contents of second adjustment information having been stored in the storage unit and, according to a comparison result, controls whether to store the first setting information to be associated with the second adjustment information stored in the storage unit or to store the first setting information and the first adjustment information associated with the first setting information.

There is provided a control method for an information processing apparatus that stores an editing application with which editing of intermediate data including drawing data generated by a drawing application can be performed, the control method including: obtaining information associated with a print setting; deciding an interface used for obtaining the intermediate data from among a plurality of interfaces on a basis of the obtained information associated with the print setting; and obtaining the intermediate data by using the decided interface, in which the intermediate data output from the editing application is obtained by a printer driver and converted into a print command.
Generating integrated sheet information for an image forming system
An image processing apparatus, communicable with an image forming apparatus useable for an image forming operation on a recording medium based on input image data, includes a processor to acquire output-side sheet information from the image forming apparatus, the output-side sheet information correlating attribution information related to the recording medium and engine adjustment information indicating image formation processing contents to be used for an image forming operation, to refer processing-side sheet information stored in the image processing apparatus, the processing-side sheet information correlating attribution information related to the recording medium and image processing setting information indicating image processing contents to be applied to the input image data, to generate integrated sheet information by correlating the attribution information, the image processing setting information, and the engine adjustment information, and to store the integrated sheet information in a memory.

An information processing apparatus includes an operation unit, a controller unit, and an external device controller, and a management unit. The external device controller is configured to control connection, writing, and reading of an external memory device. The management unit is configured to manage a mount state and unmount state of the external memory device. The unmount state is a state in which the mount state is released. The management unit is configured to execute an unmount process depending on the mount state when an unmount request of the external memory device is issued.

An example of a color management module is disclosed. The color management module is to generate a mapping from an incoming color space to a printer color space by a color pipeline. In the generation of the mapping, the color pipeline is adjusted so that the mapping of a target color associated with a first composition further includes adding a quantity of a second composition to the mapping of the target color. The second composition comprises a lower visibility than the first composition.
