Systems and methods for identifying a set of characters in a media file
The illustrative embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for notifying a user when a set of characters are identified in a media file. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a set of characters inputted by the user of a computing device, playing the media file, transcribing the media file to form a transcription, and determining whether the transcription of the media file includes the set of characters. The method also includes initiating a notification prompt on a graphical user interface of the computing device in response to determining that the media file includes the set of characters.

SETTING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD, SETTING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND PRINTER DRIVER
A setting information management method of a setting information management system that manages setting information about a function of an image forming device that is conducted in an information processing device, wherein the method includes: saving in which setting contents of a plurality of setting items are saved; saving of setting information in which collective setting information is saved; deciding of sharing setting in which the plurality of setting items include information of collective setting sharing, and whether it is enabled that the collective setting information is commonly used or not is decided; delivering of setting information in which saved collective setting information is delivered to the plurality of information processing devices; and acquiring of setting information and saved as sharing setting information; wherein, when it is enabled in the information of collective setting sharing that the collective setting information is commonly used, the collective setting information is commonly used.
Image forming apparatus to shorten time consumed from reception of image formation command to complete image forming process, image forming system, and non-transitory computer readable medium
An image forming apparatus includes a first processor configured to control a transporter that transports a sheet and a first image forming section that forms an image on the sheet transported by the transporter, and a second processor configured to control a second image forming section that forms an image on the sheet transported by the transporter. The first processor and the second processor are contained in a single housing. The first processor is configured to perform transport preparation for transporting the sheet at the transporter and receive, from the second processor, a completion notification corresponding to a preparation command, for performing image formation preparation in the second image forming section, transmitted to the second processor via an inside of the housing, and subsequently cause the transporter to transport the sheet and the first image forming section to form the image.
Printing system
A printing system includes: a first printing device, which has a first print processing unit that performs print processing and a first display unit that displays a setting input screen that receives a predetermined input of settings; a second printing device, which is provided on the downstream side of the first printing device, has a second print processing unit that performs print processing and a second display unit that displays a setting input screen that receives a predetermined input of settings; and a control unit that controls the first printing device and the second printing device. The control unit enables a setting to be input via the setting input screen of only one of first display unit and the second display unit in the case that input of settings having the same content is to be received by the first printing device and the second printing device.
COST GENERATION FOR A COMMON PRINT SUBSTANCE SUPPLY
Examples for cost generation for a common print substance supply are described herein. In some examples, signals indicative of an amount of print substance consumed by a plurality of printing devices are received at a computing device. Signals indicative of a cost corresponding to the amount of print substance consumed by each printing device of the plurality of printing devices are generated at a processor of the computing device based on the received signals. The cost is also generated based on a device identifier, a customer identifier, a print media identifier, or a combination thereof. The signals indicative of the cost for each printing device are transmitted.
Print control device for exclusion of print data included in sequential printing and computer readable medium for the same
A print control device includes: an extraction section that extracts plural print data items to be included in a print unit, the print unit being a unit of sequential printing by a printing device; an exclusion section that excludes a specific print data item among the plural print data items extracted by the extraction section, from the print unit; and a control section that performs control such that the print unit from which the specific print data item is excluded by the exclusion section is printed by the printing device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRECISE PLACEMENT
One embodiment provides a device comprising at least one movable unit, at least one sensor, a printer, at least one processor, and a non-transitory processor-readable memory device storing instructions that when executed by the at least one processor causes the at least one processor to perform operations. The operations include receiving layout and design information, receiving, from the at least one sensor, contextual information indicative that the at least one movable unit is in direct contact with a surface, and triggering the printer to print one or more markings on the surface as the at least one movable unit moves along the surface based on the layout and design information.
Method and system for efficient job scheduling by collecting data from multiple sources
A method, a non-transitory computer readable medium, and a system are disclosed for scheduling print jobs on a plurality of printers. The method includes collecting job information on each of a plurality of print jobs; assigning each of the plurality of print jobs to one or more printers of the plurality of printers; receiving a new print job, the new job including job product information; calculating a pre-processing time for the new print job; calculating a processing time for the new print job; determining at least one printer of the plurality of printers to execute the new print job; assigning the new print job to the at least one printer of the plurality of printers; and determining if one or more of the plurality of print jobs can be reassigned to another printer of the plurality of printers to minimize a print schedule for the plurality of print jobs.
