An information processing apparatus of the present invention determines whether or not there is a bias in jobs distributed to a plurality of printers to be used in a distributed printing system. In addition, in a case where there is a bias in distributed jobs, the information processing apparatus decides a color correction target to be applied to a printer having a small number of distributed jobs and resulting in an unused state, applies the decided color correction target to the printer having a small number of jobs, to thereby decide a timing of performing color adjustment on the printer having a small number of jobs. The printer having a small number of jobs and resulting in an unused state is subjected to color adjustment at the decided timing.

Image printing method and printer for segmenting an image to create first data files and first memory blocks and printing each data file using print position information

An image printing method and printer is provided. The method comprises obtaining an original data file of an image to be printed from a database; dividing the original data file into a plurality of first data files and storing the first data files in a plurality of first memory blocks correspondingly; receiving an image printing request, the image printing request carrying first position information of the image to be printed; determining from its position information of the image to be printed second position information contained in the first position information, and filling a first data file corresponding to the second position information to a second memory block from the first memory block where the first data file is located through memory mapping mechanism to form a second data file to be printed; and printing and outputting the second data file in the second memory block.

System, and post-processing apparatus and method for controlling the same

At least one embodiment of a post-processing apparatus performs post-processing on a product printed by a printing apparatus, and transmits a completion notification, indicating that the post-processing apparatus has completed the post-processing, to the printing apparatus based on whether there is a subsequent post-processing apparatus to the post-processing apparatus. At least one embodiment of an image forming apparatus holds job data, performs print processing of the job data, and deletes the held job data in a case where the completion notification is received.

CONTROL PLAN FOR PAPER, SHEET, AND BOX MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS
20220382496 · 2022-12-01 ·

Systems for providing efficient manufacturing of paper, sheet, and/or box products of varying size and structure, often with pre-applied print (“pre-print”), are provided herein. One or more controllers can be used to aggregate orders and information to prepare one or more control plans (e.g., reel maps, reel plans, etc.) for processing a roll of web product through the manufacturing process. The control plan may include a set of instructions for operating one or more systems within the manufacturing process to form the desired finished paper-based product. In such a regard, efficient manufacturing of various paper-based products, including corrugated boxes, folded carton, labels, flexible paper, industrial bags, plates, cups, décor, and many others, can be achieved. Further, efficient customer ordering/tracking, job aggregation, print imposition, corrugator planning, and tracking and adjustments throughout the manufacturing process are contemplated.

IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM

Provided are an image processing apparatus, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing an imposition control program, and an imposition control method. The hardware processor of the image processing apparatus is configured to impose plural print jobs. When imposing plural print jobs, the hardware processor extracts plural job-imposition layouts suitable for imposing the print jobs from a table stored in a storage unit. The hardware processor calculates the number of blank pages to be given after laying out pages of the print jobs with each of the job-imposition layouts extracted, and determines specific job-imposition layouts with which a smaller number of blank pages are given among the job-imposition layouts extracted. The hardware processor uses a display unit to display the specific job-imposition layouts so as to allow a user to choose a job-imposition layout to be used for imposing the print jobs.
