The reference value is registered in association with a type of sheet that is accommodated in the sheet feeding deck, and in a case where the type of sheet that is accommodated in the sheet feeding deck is changed, the reference value is cleared.

The main memory stores mode information indicating whether the image forming apparatus is set to a contract mode, upper limit information indicating an upper limit to which printing can be performed during a prescribed period, and actual print sheet number information indicating an actual print sheet number actually printed during the prescribed period. An image forming system includes an image former configured to form an image on a sheet, an inspector configured to inspect the sheet on which the image has been formed by the image former and determine whether or not the image of the sheet has an abnormality, and a controller configured to, in a case where the inspector determines that the image of the sheet has the abnormality of positional deviation, perform an adjustment operation in which an image formation position by the image former is adjusted.

A print management device includes a control unit that performs a control for displaying of information indicating a spare capacity of at least one printing device based on a print plan and a print status of the at least one printing device that is performing printing. An image forming apparatus capable of recording an error that occurs before inputting a job in a job execution history. The image forming apparatus includes a network communication unit, a print unit that prints image data included in an input print job, a job-history recording unit that records a print result by the print unit as a job history, and an application manager that executes an application based on occurrence of a start factor. An image forming system includes: an image forming apparatus having a priority paper feed source setting function and a print server that executes predetermined image processing, transmits image data after the image processing to the image forming apparatus, and causes the image forming apparatus to print an image based on the image data after the image processing. The print server (a) acquires a setting value of a priority paper feed source setting from the image forming apparatus, (b) specifies a print sheet orientation of a paper feed source designated as a priority paper feed source based on the acquired setting value, and (c) generates the image data after the image processing by matching an orientation of the image based on the image data after the image processing with an orientation corresponding to the specified print sheet orientation.

A printing apparatus comprises: a print portion configured to perform printing on a print medium drawn from a rolled medium; and a print controller configured to cause the print portion to print status information in response to an instruction to print the status information.
