Container based application reification
Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and computer readable media for container based application reification. In a particular embodiment, an application reification system is provided including one or more computer readable storage media and a processing system operatively coupled with the one or more computer readable storage media. The application reification system further includes program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage media that, when read and executed by the processing system, direct the processing system to preserve a version of application data at a first time and a configuration of an application at the first time. At a second time subsequent to the first time, the program instructions direct the processing system to create a template for a container containing the application in the configuration and a pointer to the version of the application data in a secondary storage repository.
Configurable client hardware
Various systems and methods for configuring a pluggable computing device are described herein. A pluggable computing device may be configured to be compatible with a pluggable host system using a default communication channel to obtain configuration settings and configure a programmable logic device on the pluggable computing device. The pluggable computing device may perform chain of trust processing on the pluggable host system. The pluggable computing device may be disposed on a compute card, which may include a heat sink in a particular configuration.
Method and a mirrored serial interface (MSI) for transferring data
The present disclosure relates to a mirrored serial interface (MSI) for accessing peripherals through four wire serial interface. More particularly, the present disclosure is related to serial peripheral protocol with looped back mechanism in which contents of source data line are looped back onto the destination line and compared at every clock edge to ensure data sanity and to assert presence of slave and master device during and between cycles.
Drive control method and apparatus, and display device
Disclosed are a drive control method and apparatus and a display device. The drive control method may be applied to a controller, and include: adding at least one configuration instruction into a target region of one row of data to obtain a target row of data, wherein the configuration instruction is intended for self-configuration of a drive parameter by a first driver chip, and the target region includes at least one of a blank region and a region where display data is located; and sending the target row of data to the first driver chip.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO PROVIDE A SINGLE DEVICE TYPE IN CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS
A device including first firmware of a first type and second firmware of a second type different from the first type. The first firmware configures the device to be installed into a first information handling system associated with the first type. The second firmware configures the device to be installed into a second information handling system associated with the second type. The device is configured to receive a firmware commit command that command includes either a first indication to commit the first firmware, or a second indication to commit the second firmware, but not both indications. The device further determines that the firmware commit command includes the first indication and locks the device to use the first firmware and not the second firmware, and determines that the firmware commit command includes the second indication and locks the device to use the second firmware and not the first firmware.
System and Method to Update System Recommended Settings for Corresponding Operating System Version
System settings for an information handling system are updated based on the operating system version of an information handling system that is installed or updated on the information handling system. An operating system template to the version of the operating system is retrieved and staged to a shared memory access/partition accessible by a basic input/output system (BIOS) of information handling system. A system policy enforcer of the BIOS accesses configuration settings from the staged corresponding operating system template and applies the accessed accessing configuration settings to the information handling system.
Control method and system of applet, server and terminal device
The present application discloses to a control method and system of an applet, a server, a terminal device, an electronic device, and a storage medium, which relate to artificial intelligence technology, voice technology, cloud technology, automatic driving technology, and information flow technology. The method includes: parsing audio information sent by a terminal device to obtain attribute information of the applet, where the audio information is used to instruct to open the applet; sending a request for acquiring page data to an applet server based on the attribute information; receiving the page data fed back by the applet server, generating a target page according to the page data and the attribute information, and sending the target page to the terminal device.
Transforming select portions of a monolithic application to microservices
A method includes: determining, by a computing device, transactions of a monolithic application; ranking, by the computing device, the transactions using predefined rules; selecting, by the computing device, a candidate transaction from the ranked list; determining, by the computing device, lines of application code of the monolithic application associated with the candidate transaction; mapping, by the computing device, respective ones of the determined lines of application code to a first operation and a second operation, wherein the first operation and the second operation are different types of operation; and defining, by the computing device, a target state design based on CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation), the target state design including a first microservice that performs the first operation and a second microservice that performs the second operation.
Memory system executing loading of software at startup and control method
According to one embodiment, a memory system includes a nonvolatile memory, and a controller. The controller controls the nonvolatile memory. The nonvolatile memory includes a first area where specific software is capable of being stored, and a second area where the specific software is stored. The second area has higher reliability than the first area. The controller causes the specific software to be stored in the first area when receiving a command specifying the specific software, and executes loading of the specific software stored in the first area at startup of the controller.
Dynamically-configurable baseboard management controller
Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage mediums described herein are configured to dynamically configure a baseboard management controller to monitor a state of a server. For example, a configuration schema may be provided to the baseboard management controller. The configuration schema specifies each of the devices of the server that is to be monitored by the baseboard management controller. The configuration schema also specifies additional configuration details with respect to each of the devices. Based on the configuration information included in the configuration schema, the baseboard management controller performs a discovery sequence with respect to each of the devices to verify that such devices are communicatively coupled to the baseboard management controller. If the discovery sequence is successful, the baseboard management controller begins monitoring the devices. However, if the discovery sequence is unsuccessful, the baseboard management controller issues an error, thereby enabling the proper personnel to remediate the issue.
