TECHNIQUES TO CONFIGURE PHYSICAL COMPUTE RESOURCES FOR WORKLOADS VIA CIRCUIT SWITCHING
20220103446 · 2022-03-31 ·

Embodiments are generally directed apparatuses, methods, techniques and so forth to select two or more processing units of the plurality of processing units to process a workload, and configure a circuit switch to link the two or more processing units to process the workload, the two or more processing units each linked to each other via paths of communication and the circuit switch.

Efficient and reliable host distribution of totally ordered global state

An asynchronous distributed computing system with a plurality of computing nodes is provided. One of the computing nodes includes a sequencer service that receives updates from the plurality of computing nodes. The sequencer service maintains or annotates messages added to the global state of the system. Updates to the global state are published to the plurality of computing nodes. Monitoring services on the other computing nodes write the updates into a locally maintained copy of the global state that exists in shared memory on each one of the nodes. Client computer processes on the nodes may then subscribe to have updates “delivered” to the respective client computer processes.

Shared secret vault for applications with single sign on

Some aspects of the disclosure generally relate to providing single sign on features in mobile applications in a secure environment using a shared vault. An application may prompt a user to provide user entropy such as a passcode (e.g. a password and/or PIN). The application may use the user entropy to decrypt a user-entropy-encrypted vault key. Once the vault key is decrypted, the application may decrypt a vault database of the shared vault. The shared vault may store shared secrets, such as server credentials, and an unlock key. The application may store the unlock key, generate an unlock-key-encrypted vault key, and cause the shared vault to store the unlock-key-encrypted vault key, thereby “unlocking” the vault. The application may then use the unlock key to decrypt the vault database without prompting the user to provide user entropy again.

TECHNOLGIES FOR MILLIMETER WAVE RACK INTERCONNECTS

Racks and rack pods to support a plurality of sleds are disclosed herein. Switches for use in the rack pods are also disclosed herein. A rack comprises a plurality of sleds and a plurality of electromagnetic waveguides. The plurality of sleds are vertically spaced from one another. The plurality of electromagnetic waveguides communicate data signals between the plurality of sleds.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTENT SHARING THROUGH EXTERNAL SYSTEMS

Disclosed are mechanisms for sharing content through content consumption systems. A sharing module publishes content in a share and metadata associated therewith to a content consumption system external to a managed repository. The share represents a folder or directory in the managed repository. The publication can be made through application programming interface (API) calls handled by a first sharing module API, a repository API, a second sharing module API, and a content consumption system API. These APIs together provide a one-to-one mapping of communications protocols used by the managed repository and the external system. The share in the managed repository and the share published to the content consumption system are synced and any conflict between the two is detected and resolved. The shared content can be repatriated back to the managed repository and the shared version deleted from the content consumption system.

Technologies for providing manifest-based asset representation

Technologies for generating manifest data for a sled include a sled to generate manifest data indicative of one or more characteristics of the sled (e.g., hardware resources, firmware resources, a configuration of the sled, or a health of sled components). The sled is also to associate an identifier with the manifest data. The identifier uniquely identifies the sled from other sleds. Additionally, the sled is to send the manifest data and the associated identifier to a server. The sled may also detect a change in the hardware resources, firmware resources, the configuration, or component health of the sled. The sled may also generate an update of the manifest data based on the detected change, where the update specifies the detected change in the hardware resources, firmware resources, the configuration, or component health of the sled. The sled may also send the update of the manifest data to the server.

HEURISTICS FOR SELECTING SUBSEGMENTS FOR ENTRY IN AND ENTRY OUT OPERATIONS IN AN ERROR CACHE SYSTEM WITH COARSE AND FINE GRAIN SEGMENTS
20220107888 · 2022-04-07 ·

A memory device comprises a memory bank comprising a plurality of addressable memory cells, wherein the memory bank is divided into a plurality of segments. Further, the device comprises a cache memory operable for storing a second plurality of data words, wherein each data word of the second plurality of data words is either awaiting write verification associated with the memory bank or is to be re-written into the memory bank. The cache memory is divided into a plurality of primary segments, wherein each primary segment of the cache memory is direct mapped to a corresponding segment of the plurality of segments, wherein each primary segment is sub-divided into a plurality of secondary segments, and wherein each of the plurality of secondary segments comprises at least one counter for tracking a number of entries stored therein.

PUBLISH-SUBSCRIBE FRAMEWORK FOR APPLICATION EXECUTION
20220114038 · 2022-04-14 ·

The described technology relates to a publish-subscribe message framework in which an application, decomposed to a plurality of processing stages, is run by executing respective processing stages of the application asynchronously and simultaneously with each other. Communications between the respective processing stages may exclusively be in accordance with the publish-subscribe execution model. The described publish-sub scribe framework provides for processing stages to be executed in a multi-process and/or multi-threaded manner while also enabling the distribution of the processing stages to respective processing resources in a multi-processor/multi-core processing environment. An example electronic exchange application and a corresponding example exchange gateway application are described.

Expanded Kernel Generation

A method comprises receiving a kernel used to convolve with an input tensor. For a first dimension of the kernel, a square block of values for each single dimensional vector of the kernel that includes all rotations of that single dimensional vector is generated. For each additional dimension of the kernel, group blocks of an immediately preceding dimension into sets of blocks, each set of blocks including blocks of the immediately preceding dimension that are aligned along a vector that is parallel to the axis of the dimension; and generate, for the additional dimension, one or more blocks of values, each block including all rotations of blocks within each of the sets of blocks of the immediately preceding dimension. The block of values corresponding to the last dimension in the additional dimensions of the kernel is output as the expanded kernel.
