Data processing platform monitoring
A device may receive error data indicating that an error occurred, the error being associated with a data processing job scheduled to be performed by a data processing platform. The device may identify input data for the data processing job associated with the error and determine that the error is based on the data processing platform not receiving the input data. In addition, the device may determine a location of the input data and determine a measure of priority associated with the data processing job. Based on the location of the input data and the measure of priority, the device may perform an action to correct the error.
Telematics device with input/output expansion power fault handling
A telematics device coupled to an input/output expander is provided. The telematics device includes a controller, an input/output expander interface for coupling the telematics device to the controller and a memory. The memory has machine-executable programming instructions which configure the telematics device to power-cycle the input/output expander interface by a plurality of power cycles having progressively increasing power-off durations, in response to detecting a power fault condition on the input/output expander interface.
Resolving erred 10 flows
A method for resolving an erred input/output (IO) flow, the method may include (i) sending over a path a remote direct write request associated with a certain address range; wherein the path is formed between a compute node of a storage system to a storage drive of the storage system; (ii) receiving by the compute node an error message related to the remote direct write request; wherein the error message does not indicate whether an execution of the remote direct write request failed or is only temporarily delayed; (iii) responding by the compute node to the error message by (a) preventing from sending one or more IO requests through the path, (b) preventing from sending at least one IO requests aimed to the certain address range; and (c) requesting, using a management communication link, to force an execution of pending IO requests that are related to the path; and (iv) reuse the path, by the compute node, following an indication that there are no pending IO requests that are related to the path.
Method of controlling information processor, non-transitory controller-readable medium storing program, and communication system
A POS terminal has: a device driver; a POS application that communicates with a peripheral through the device driver; a filter driver that acquires communication information related to communication performed between the POS application and the peripheral through the device driver; and a failure detection application that acquires communication information from the filter driver over a predetermined period, defines a decision reference according to which a decision is made about an abnormality related to the peripheral, according to the acquired communication information, and makes a decision about an abnormality related to the peripheral through a comparison between the defined decision reference and communication information acquired from the filter driver after the predetermined period.
Semiconductor device and method of operating the same
The present invention relates to a semiconductor device having a first processor element configured to receive a first interrupt request signal, a second processor element configured to receive a second interrupt request signal, a first priority determination circuit configured to receive a plurality of interrupt signals and to output the first interrupt request signal to the first processor element, a second priority determination circuit configured to receive the plurality of interrupt signals and to output the second interrupt request signal to the second processor element, a checker circuit configured detect failures of the first priority determination circuit and the second priority determination circuit, and a control circuit configured to select one of the first priority determination circuit or the second priority determination circuit as a circuit to be checked. The control circuit selects the circuit to be checked based on the first interrupt request signal and the second interrupt request signal.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FAULT DETECTION AND REPORTING THROUGH SERIAL INTERFACE TRANSCEIVERS
Circuitry, systems, and methods for fault detection and reporting comprise a fault detection circuit configured to detect one or more fault conditions that cause a state change in a fault pin voltage representative of a transceiver failure. Once the state of the fault pin voltage changes, a transceiver input generates a fault detection code. In embodiments, in response to the transceiver input receiving a first signal, the fault detection code is shifted to a transceiver output that may communicate the fault detection code to a controller. Once the transceiver input receives a second signal, the fault pin voltage may be reset to clear the fault detection code before resuming operations, including detecting additional fault conditions as they arise.
Interrupt migration
Apparatuses, methods, program products, and systems are presented for interrupt migration in connection with migration of a logical partition.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING AN EVENT-DRIVEN ARCHITECTURE
There is disclosed a method and system for operating an event-driven architecture. The event-driven architecture comprises a first machine-learning (ML) agent operating a first service and a second ML agent operating a second service. The first ML agent comprises a first model and first model metadata. The second ML agent comprises a second model and second model metadata. The method comprises generating, by the first ML agent, an event associated with event metadata. The event comprises results generated by the first model. The event metadata comprises an event identifier (ID). The first ML agent publishes the event in a virtualized dedicated space. The second ML agent determines whether the event is to be processed by the second ML agent. If a determination is made that the message is to be processed by the second ML agent, the second ML agent processes the event to generate an output.
PERIPHERAL COMPONENT INTERCONNECT EXPRESS DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
A Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) device includes a plurality of lanes comprising a plurality of ports, a link controller setting a link including the plurality of lanes, wherein the link is set to have a link width that includes the remaining of lanes, except for a fail lane from among the plurality of lanes, and an EQ controller performing an equalization operation for determining a transmitter or receiver setting of each of the remaining lanes, wherein the EQ controller determining a final EQ coefficient using a log information and an error information.
Earth fault localization
A method and system of determining the location of an earth fault within a loop of devices is disclosed. Upon the detection of an earth fault within the loop comprising a plurality of devices, a first device within the loop is isolated along with a second device. While the first device and the second device are isolated, it is determined if the earth fault still exists. If the earth fault no longer exists, then determine that the earth fault is located between the first device and the second device. This can be iterated through each adjacent pair of devices in the loop to localize the earth fault between the devices.
