Process automation action repository and assembler
A system for remediating computing-related events by taking into account the past performance of remediation processes and the current run-time environment in which the remedy will be deployed. Robotic Process Automation is implemented to identify computing-related events requiring automation and to record actions that are taken to remediate the events. Robotic scripts (bots) are created based on the recorded actions and are implemented in a learning-mode, in which run-time conditions and level of performance are recorded, such that, run-time conditions and performance are determinative of which bot or combination of bots are implemented for subsequent occurrence of computing-related events. Additionally, remedial process associated with the bot(s) may be executed in a simulated environment prior to the production run-time computing environment to validate the bot and insure the likelihood of effective performance of the remedial process in the run-time production environment.
Cognitive Error Recommendation Based on Log Data
Embodiments generate machine learning recommendations using log data. Log data can be ingested to generate an event stream for cloud systems, where each of the cloud systems comprises a combination of components, and the cloud systems present heterogenous system architectures. The generated event streams can be processed to generate a data set, where the data set include issue labels for issues experienced by the cloud systems. Features from the generated data set can be extracted. Issue recommendations can be generated using machine learning algorithms based on the extracted features and the generated data set, where the issue recommendations are generated using a hybrid of collaborative based machine learning filtering and content based machine learning filtering.
System and method for improving server usage based on anomaly detection
A management server includes linear regression circuitry to receive the data as input data, based on the input data, the linear regression circuitry generates a linear regression line for the input data. Gradient circuitry analyzes angles between two points of data within the input data. In response to a first angle between a first point of data and a second point of data being greater than a threshold angle, the gradient circuitry determines that an interval of data including the first and second points of data is an abrupt interval, removes first data within the abrupt interval from the input data, and updates the linear regression line accordingly. Support vector machine circuitry receives the input data, classifies outliers in the input data, and removes the outliers. The linear regression line is updated based on the removal of the outliers.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRAINING ANOMALY DETECTION ANALYTICS TO AUTOMATICALLY REMOVE OUTLIER DATA
A method for detecting anomalies during operation of an asset to improve performance of the asset includes collecting, via a server, data relating to operation of the asset or a group of assets containing the asset. The data includes normal and abnormal asset behavior of the asset or the group of assets containing the asset. Further, the method includes automatically removing, via an iterative algorithm programmed in the server that utilizes one or more inputs or outputs of an anomaly detection analytic, portions of the data containing the abnormal asset behavior to form a dataset containing only the normal asset behavior. The method also includes training, via a computer-based model programmed in the server, the anomaly detection analytic using, at least, the dataset containing only the normal asset behavior. Moreover, the method includes applying, via the server, the anomaly detection analytic to the asset so as to monitor for anomalies during operation thereof.
Remote monitoring and error correcting within a data storage system
Systems and methods for providing automated problem reporting in elements used in conjunction with computer networks are disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of elements that perform data operations and a reporting manager or monitor agent which monitors the elements and data operations. Upon detection of hardware or software problems, the reporting manager or monitor agent automatically communicates with elements affected by the problem to gather selected hardware, software, and configuration information, analyzes the information to determine causes of the problem, and issues a problem report containing at least a portion of the selected information. The problem report is communicated to a remote monitor that does not possess access privileges to the elements, allowing automated, remote monitoring of the elements without compromising security of the computer network or elements.
Management of a fault condition in a computing system
Systems, apparatuses, and/or methods may manage a fault condition in a computer system. An apparatus may dynamically publish a message over a publisher-subscriber system and dynamically subscribe to a message over the publisher-subscriber system, wherein at least one message may be used to address a fault condition in the computing system. The apparatus may predict a fault condition in a high performance computing (HPC) system, communicate fault information to a user, monitor health of the HPC system, respond to the fault condition in the HPC system, recover from the fault condition in the HPC system, maintain a rule for a fault management component, and/or communicate the fault information over the publisher-subscriber system in real-time. Messages may also be aggregated to minimize fault information traffic. The publisher-subscriber system may facilitate dynamic and/or real-time coordinated, integrated (e.g., system-wide), and/or scalable fault management.
System and method for identifying operational disruptions in mobile computing devices via a monitoring application that repetitively records multiple separate consecutive files listing launched or installed applications
A system and method for discovering fault conditions such as conflicts between applications and an operating system, driver, hardware, or a combination thereof, installed in mobile computing devices uses a mobile device running a diagnostic application. A list of applications that were launched or installed during a time period prior to an operational disruption is retrieved. A data table of combinations of incompatible programs and drivers is used to analyze the list of the applications that were launched or installed to create a list of potential fault-causing interactions due to software incompatibilities of software installed in the mobile computing device. A knowledge database is updated with data identifying at least one of the potential fault-causing interactions. Further disclosed is a computer program that identifies hardware-created or software-created problems and operational disruptions in mobile computing devices by collecting data on incompatibilities in particular mobile computing devices on the internet.
Group alert in server systems
A server system having functionality of group alerting is disclosed. Said server system comprises: a plurality of server computers having alert notification capabilities, the plurality of server computers being divided into at least one group; and a management console node managing and monitoring the plurality of server computers; wherein the alert notification is issued by a group of the at least one group of the plurality of server computers when a health problem of a server computer in said group of the at least one group of the plurality of server computers occurs.
Server, electronic device, and control method thereof
An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a memory storing a program including a plurality of program codes and performing a predetermined function; a communicator configured to receive policy information including target information and determination information from an external server; and a processor configured to perform the predetermined function using the program and, when a program code corresponding to the target information is executed while performing the predetermined function, compare an execution result of the program code with the determination information and determine whether the program code normally operates.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTELY DIAGNOSING AND REPAIRING A COMPUTING DEVICE
A method for diagnosing and repairing a first computing device that is not able to be booted due to a malfunction of the first computing device is provided. The method comprises providing a boot tool stored on a removable computer readable storage medium; allowing the first computing device to be booted using the boot tool; providing for communication between the first computing device and a remote help desk computing device over a network; remotely identifying the malfunction of the first computing device; and pushing at least one repair data file from the remote help desk computing device to the first computing device or downloading the at least one repair data file from the Internet using the first computing device, wherein the at least one repair data file is configured for repairing the first computing device so that the first computing device is bootable without use of the boot tool.
