Device Management Systems And Methods
Example device management systems and methods are described. In one implementation, techniques identify a first plurality of devices communicating using a first rate plan associated with a carrier. The techniques further identify a second plurality of devices communicating using a second rate plan associated with the carrier. The techniques analyze the first rate plan and the second rate plan based on data usage. The techniques then identify at least one recommended rate plan change for at least one of the first plurality of devices or the second plurality of devices based on the analysis.
IMAGE-TYPE NOTIFICATION AND RECORDING METHOD AND SYSTEM OF HARDWARE EVENT AND STATUS OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
An image-type notification and recording method of a hardware event and status of an electronic device, including the following steps: storing at least one mainboard image and image data to firmware; transmitting, by a component, a detected text or digit corresponding to an event or a status to a processor; reading, by the processor, the mainboard image and the image data in the firmware; and displaying, by the processor, according to the text or digit corresponding to the event or the status, the mainboard image of a warning image combined with the corresponding event or status. The present invention also provides an image-type notification and recording system of a hardware event and status of an electronic device, a recording medium, and a computer program product.
Geofencing with wireless beacon based consumer product marketing
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. The wireless signals may be received by mobile devices. A remote server may communicate with the mobile device and provide the mobile device with up-to-date content associated with the POP displays. A geographic location of the mobile device may be assessed and used to determine if the mobile device is at an acceptable location for displaying the up-to-date content.
TECHNICAL LANGUAGE PROCESSOR
Embodiments of the present invention relate to apparatuses, systems, methods and computer program products for a technology configuration system. Specifically, the system typically provides operational data processing of a plurality of records associated with information technology operational activities, for dynamic transformation of data and evaluation of interdependencies of technology resources. In other aspects, the system typically provides technical language processing of the plurality of records for transforming technical and descriptive data, and constructing categorical activity records. The system may be configured to achieve significant reduction in memory storage and processing requirements by performing categorical data encoding of the plurality of records. The system may employ a dynamic categorical data decoding process, which delivers a reduction in processing time when the encoded records are decoded for evaluating the exposure of technology change events to technology incidents and modifying such technology change events.

Report snapshots
Users requesting a report are given the option of generating a live report or viewing a previous generated “report snapshot”, which may be a version of the report that was previously generated and stored. The report snapshot may have been generated in response to a previous request for the report, or it may have been generated automatically in response to some trigger event or on a period basis. In response to the user's selection of a live report, the report is generated from data stored in a database, and provided to the user when ready. In addition, the live report is stored as a report snapshot in a storage device. In response to the user's selection of a snapshot, the previously generated report snapshot is retrieved from the storage device and provided to the user. Multiple snapshots for the same report can be made available.
Generating and aggregating test result data of a distributed system of devices into a test case result for facilitating access of the test case result via a single iterator
Generating and aggregating test result data of a distributed system of devices into a test case result for facilitating access of the test case result via a single iterator is presented herein. A coordinator component of the distributed system of devices creates respective context identifiers for each unique phase of a test case of the distributed system of devices, and sends messages including the respective context identifiers to a producer component of the distributed system of devices. In this regard, the producer component includes producers having respective services executing processes corresponding to an execution of the test case. The messages instruct the respective services to associate the respective context identifiers with events representing result data of the processes, and the respective context identifiers facilitate respective accesses of the events representing the result data of the processes.
DISPLAY OF RESOURCES BASED ON CONTEXT
A computing device includes a display and a processor coupled to the display. The processor is to determine an activity to be completed with use of the computing device, and identify at least one resource accessible to the computing device and to be used to complete the activity. The processor presents on the display at least one identified resource to enable completion of the activity, and adjusts presentation of other resources so as to hide the other resources from display on the computing device.
Throttling Events in Entity Lifecycle Management
The disclosed declarative framework implements a machine for multi-step progression of interaction with an entity. The framework is usable for a broad range of applications—providing a simple rule-based authoring tool for specifying elements and components of a complex state machine, including state definitions, state transition triggers, state transition conditions and state transition actions. Case-status states, a first filtering condition, and a count parameter that specifies a limit on a number of times within a time period in excess of which additional events with characteristics that match will be ignored or discarded are usable to determine whether to ignore or process an incoming event—throttling the rate at which certain actions occur. A workflow engine gets loaded with instructions derived from the states and event filtering conditions, for handling incoming machine-generated events. Once defined, the state machine is automatically generated and implemented based on the declarative input provided.
GREEN CLOUD COMPUTING RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for generating customized recommendations for environmentally-conscious cloud computing frameworks for replacing computing resources of existing datacenters. One of the methods involves receiving, through a user interface presented on a display of a computing device, data regarding a user's existing datacenter deployment and the user's preferences for the new cloud computing framework, generating one or more recommendations for environmentally-conscious cloud computing frameworks based on the received data, and presenting such recommendations through the user interface for the user's review and consideration.
