While displaying the home screen user interface, the electronic device detects availability of a wireless peripheral for pairing with the electronic device, and in response to detecting the availability of the wireless peripheral for pairing with the electronic device, displays, overlaid on the home screen user interface, a connection user interface that includes information identifying the wireless peripheral. While displaying the connection user interface overlaid on the home screen user interface, the electronic device detects a single input directed to the connection user interface, and in response to detecting the single input, initiates pairing of the wireless peripheral with the electronic device.

A representative memory interface circuit comprises: a plurality of registers storing a plurality of tables, a state machine circuit, and a plurality of queues. The plurality of tables include a memory request table, a memory request identifier table, a memory response table, a memory data message table, and a memory response buffer. The state machine circuit is adapted to receive a load request, and in response, to obtain a first memory request identifier from the load request, to store the first memory request identifier in the memory request identifier table, to generate one or more memory load request data packets having the memory request identifier for transmission to the memory circuit, and to store load request information in the memory request table. The plurality of queues store one or more data packets for transmission.

An electronic device having a display, radio frequency (RF) circuitry, and one or more input devices, displays a first user interface on the display. In response to detecting the pairing request, the electronic device pairs the first peripheral with the electronic device, and after the first peripheral is paired with the electronic device, the electronic device concurrently displays status information of the first peripheral and a second peripheral, wherein the first peripheral is coupled to the second peripheral, or the first peripheral and second peripheral are both coupled to a third peripheral.

A System-on-Chip (SoC) performs secure communication operations. The SoC may include a peripheral interface configured to communicate with a host system. The SoC may also include a network interface configured to receive network packets in a secure communication session. The SoC may further include a processor configured to execute an Operating System (OS) software and a secure communication software stack to process at least one received network packet in the secure communication session. In addition, the SoC may include a secure communication engine configured to perform cryptographic operations and generate at least one decrypted packet in the secure communication session. The at least one decrypted packet may be provided to the host system via the peripheral interface.

In one example, at least one peripheral interconnect switch obtains, from a first endpoint device, a message initiating a direct memory access data transfer between the first endpoint device and a second endpoint device. The message indicates an address assigned to the second endpoint device by a host device as a destination of the message. Based on the address assigned to the second endpoint device by the host device, the at least one peripheral interconnect switch identifies an address assigned to the second endpoint device by the at least one peripheral interconnect switch. In response to identifying the address assigned to the second endpoint device by the at least one peripheral interconnect switch, the at least one peripheral interconnect switch provides the message to the second endpoint device.
