Data deduplication in data platforms
One embodiment of the invention provides a method for data deduplication storage management in a data platform including a plurality of data stores. The method comprises, for each data store of the plurality of data stores, determining a corresponding multi-level signature mapping data content of the data store into an ordered logical form comprising a plurality of data abstraction levels, determining a data similarity between the data store and each other data store of the plurality of data stores based on the multi-level signature corresponding to the data store and another multi-level signature corresponding to the other data store, and determining data usage of the data content of the data store. The method further comprises improving storage in the data platform by detecting duplicate data across the plurality of data stores based on each data similarity determined and each data usage determined.
Neural contextual bandit based computational recommendation method and apparatus
Disclosed are systems and methods utilizing neural contextual bandit for improving interactions with and between computers in content generating, searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to make item recommendations using latent relations and latent representations, which can improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods use neural network modeling in automatic selection of a number of items for recommendation to a user and using feedback in connection with the recommendation for further training of the model(s).
Index sheets for robust spreadsheet-based applications
At a data management service, an index structure corresponding to a data sheet is stored. The data sheet comprises a grid of cells. An entry of the index structure comprises a reference to content of a cell of the data sheet. In response to a grid structure change of the data sheet, the index entry is automatically updated such that the same content remains referenced from the index entry as before. A result of a computation of an application is obtained using an identifier of the index entry to obtain content from the data sheet. The result is provided to a destination.
Adapting time series database schema
In a computer-implemented method for adapting time series database schema of a time series database, time series data ingested into a time series database according to a time series database schema is accessed over a time period, wherein time series data comprises a plurality of dimensions. The time series data of the time period is analyzed to determine a data shape of the time series data of the time period. It is determined whether to adapt the time series database schema based at least in part on the data shape of the time series data of the time period. In some embodiments, the time series database schema is adapted based at least in part on the data shape of the time series data of the time period. Time series data is then ingested into the time series database according to the adapted time series database schema.

Dynamic aggregate generation and updating for high performance querying of large datasets
The present disclosure provides a detailed description of techniques used in systems, methods, and in computer program products for dynamic aggregate generation and updating for high performance querying of large datasets. Certain embodiments are directed to technological solutions for determining at least one aggregate of selected virtual cube attributes (e.g., measures, dimensions, etc.) describing a virtual multidimensional data model of a subject database, and generating an aggregate table and a set of aggregate metadata for the aggregate. In some embodiments, an aggregate database statement configured to operate on the subject database can be issued to generate the aggregate table and/or aggregate metadata. Further, the aggregate can be dynamically determined responsive to receiving a database statement configured to operate on the virtual multidimensional data model representing the subject database. Also, the aggregate table can comprise one or more partitions in an aggregate view to facilitate aggregate management and/or quality.
Adaptive correlation of user-specific compressed multidimensional data profiles to engagement rules
Some embodiments relate generally to the processing of compressed multidimensional data and selection of engagement rules based on the compressed multidimensional data. In some embodiments, a method includes retrieving, via a processor, a multidimensional data profile that includes a set of first inclination distributions, each associated with a data dimension. The processor matches a first set of engagement rules to the multidimensional data profile to define a matched set, each engagement rule of the first set of engagement rules having a corresponding confidence level and a corresponding set of second inclination distributions. The processor selects an engagement rule from the matched set that has a corresponding confidence level no less than a corresponding confidence level for each remaining engagement rule from the matched set, and sends a signal causing display of a stimulus to a user according to the selected engagement rule and not according to the remaining engagement rules.
