SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UPDATING RECORD OBJECTS OF A SYSTEM OF RECORD

The present disclosure relates to generating performance profiles of member nodes. A plurality of electronic activities can be accessed. A subset of electronic activities from the plurality of electronic activities can be identified. The subset of electronic activities can be parsed to identify participants of the electronic activities. A second node profile can be accessed for each participant. Participant types can be identified from each second node profiles. A distribution of the subset of electronic activities can be determined. A performance profile can be generated.

Apparatus and method for performing operations on capability metadata

An apparatus is provided comprising storage elements to store data blocks, where each data block has capability metadata associated therewith identifying whether the data block specifies a capability, at least one capability type being a bounded pointer. Processing circuitry is then arranged to be responsive to a bulk capability metadata operation identifying a plurality of the storage elements, to perform an operation on the capability metadata associated with each data block stored in the plurality of storage elements. Via a single specified operation, this hence enables query and/or modification operations to be performed on multiple items of capability metadata, hence providing more efficient access to such capability metadata.

APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR ANALYZING CHARACTERISTICS OF ENTITIES OF INTEREST

The present disclosure relates to apparatus, systems, and methods for analyzing characteristics of entities of interest. In particular, the present disclosure provides a mechanism for analyzing information about entities of interest and for rating or scoring the entities of interest based on the analyzed information. The rating or the score of an entity of interest can sometimes be referred to as a placerank value of an entity of interest.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EFFICIENT CONSOLIDATION OF RECORD BLOCKS

Systems and methods for efficient consolidation of record blocks in a data base. The system comprises: 1) a deletion record set; an in-memory database representation comprising: tables and records; one or more exclusive locks for the records; and a record block index; 2) a persistent database representation comprising: record blocks; and a transaction log. The method comprises: receiving, by a processor, a deletion record set; acquiring, by the processor, an exclusive lock for one or more records in the deletion record set; consolidating, by the processor, one or more record blocks; updating, by the processor, an in-memory record block index; and adding, by the processor, a transaction log entry for the updated record block index update.

Servicing queries during data ingress

A method for execution by a temporary ingress storage system includes receiving a set of records to be processed for long-term storage. The set of records are temporarily stored in a set of memory resources of the temporary ingress storage system during a first temporal period. Execution of a query is facilitated by accessing a subset of the set of records from at least one memory resource of the set of memory resources during the first temporal period. The set of records are processed to generate a set of segments for long-term storage. Migration of the set of records from the temporary ingress storage system to a long-term storage system for during a second temporal period that begins after the first temporal period has elapsed by sending the set of records to the long-term storage system.

Method of processing data in a database by simultaneously processing row data of key pairs which include a key of a first table in the database, and a matching key and a unique row of a second table in the database

A method is provided for processing data in a database, wherein the database includes a first table and a second table. Each of the tables have a plurality of rows of data, wherein a key identifies one or more rows of data in the tables. There is a plurality of matching key pairs among the tables. Each key pair includes a key of a first table, and a matching key and a unique row of a second table. In operation, the method involves simultaneously processing row data of key pairs associated with a first row of the second table, and then simultaneously processing row data of key pairs associated with any remaining rows of the second table in sequential row order.

Method of batch processing data that is stored in multiple tables as a plurality of rows of data by reading out and batch processing data from only a portion of a row from each of tables that is to be used in batch processing logic

A method is provided for batch processing data that is stored in multiple tables and is organized in the tables as a plurality of rows of data and a plurality of columns. Each row is identified by a key, and each column represents a field having a unique field name. The batch processing is performed using batch processing logic. In operation, the batch processing is performed by reading out data from only a portion of a row from each of the tables that is to be used for the batch processing logic by specifying the key of the row from the respective table, and the unique field names in the row of the respective table to be used for the batch processing logic. The remaining portion of the data in the row of the respective table is not read out from the row. Batch processing is then performed on the read out data using the batch processing logic. The batch processed data is then written back into the same row of the respective table that the data was read out from. The resultant row of each of the tables includes the batch processed data, and the remaining portion of the data in the row in each of the tables that was not read out from the row.

Database Management Using Sort Keys

Techniques are disclosed for storing and retrieving large amounts of data in a non-relational database using sort keys. A server computer system may receive a request for raw data specifying a start timestamp and an end timestamp. The server determines a start key and an end key for performing a query on a distributed non-relational database storing key-value pairs, where the determining is based on the start timestamp and the end timestamp. The server may compare the start key and the end key to a sort key included in row keys of key-value pairs stored in the non-relational database. Based on the comparing, the server retrieves one or more rows of raw data from the non-relational database. The server generates a graphical representation of the one or more rows of raw data retrieved from the non-relational database. The disclosed techniques may advantageously improve the efficiency of a database management system.

UPDATING RECORDS IN A REAL-TIME STORAGE SYSTEM

According to an aspect, a method includes storing messages exchanged on a messaging platform in a non-relational database, obtaining a database snapshot of the non-relational database, executing a database task on the database snapshot, and generating, in response to the database task, an update log, where the update log identifies a first record to be changed or deleted in the non-relational database. The method includes determining whether or not the first record identified in the update log has been updated in the non-relational database after a time instance associated with the database task and applying the change or deletion of the first record in the non-relational database in response to the first record being determined as not updated after the time instance associated with the database task.
