USER RESEARCH COGNITIVE ASSISTANT FOR MATCHING PERSONAS AND PROVIDING EXPERIENCE INSIGHTS
In an approach for a user research cognitive assistant for matching personas and providing experience insights, a processor receives persona data based on user experience to be modeled. A processor receives interview data associated with research candidates. A processor identifies one or more target candidates based on a match between the persona data and the interview data. A processor monitors the one or more target candidates for the match during an interview. A processor generates an insight with data synthesis identifying an experience level of the one or more target candidates. A processor determines a need of additional recruitment based on the insight and the persona data.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING CONTENT TO RECIPIENT
Disclosed is a method for providing content to a recipient. The method comprises determining a preferred metacategory of the recipient; selecting content having a same metacategory; and providing the selected content to the recipient, wherein metacategory is not category of subject matter of content, but category of mood of content. Disclosed also is a system for providing content to a recipient. The system comprises a data processing arrangement configured to determine a preferred metacategory of the recipient; select content having a same metacategory; and provide the selected content to the recipient, wherein metacategory is not category of subject matter of content, but category of mood of content. Further, disclosed also is a computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-readable instructions stored thereon, the computer-readable instructions being executable by a computerized device comprising processing hardware to execute the aforementioned method.
Personalized content processing and delivery system and media
A personalized content system enables a user with a communications device to convert and/or passively receive pre-selected content from multiple resources. A communications device has hardware and software to provide input and transmission to convert content from any form of media. The converted content is created by retrieving a digital copy of a digital record associated with it, and processing the digital copy for at least a web-based personalized application. Conversion is based on input of a code such as a telephone number, server program address, and a set of and/or range of characters. The transmission is communicated to at least one server that recognizes the code, the originating telephone number associated with the communications device, the device identifier associated with the communications device, and combinations thereof. The server retrieves a digital record and processes content and outputs based on user input, a user and/or program profile, and combinations thereof.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING DATA STRUCTURES TO REPRESENT AND COMPRESS DATA PROFILES
Embodiments described herein relate generally to apparatuses and methods for structuring and processing data. In some embodiments, a method includes receiving stimulus-response data, via a processor, the stimulus-response data including a digital representation of a stimulus and a digital representation of a response. The processor calculates a weight associated with the stimulus-response data, based on a rule, and identifies: (1) a distribution type, based on the digital representation of the stimulus; and (2) a range of inclination values of the distribution type, based on the digital representation of the response. The processor compiles a compressed multidimensional data profile associated with an object of the stimulus-response data and based on the weight, the digital representation of the distribution type, and the digital representation of the range of inclination values.
System and method for completing a user profile
A system and method for at least partially completing a user profile. The method includes analyzing the user profile to identify at least one missing informational element in the user profile, wherein identifying the at least one missing element further comprises determining at least one concept based on the user profile and matching the determined at least one concept to a plurality of category concepts, each concept including a collection of signatures and metadata describing the concept, wherein each category concept is associated with at least one required informational element, wherein each missing informational element is one of the at least one required informational element that is not included in the user profile; sending a query for the missing informational element; and updating at least a portion of the user profile based on a response to the query.
Systems and methods for delegating access to a protected resource
A method for managing access privileges is disclosed. The method includes: obtaining, based on employee data received from a first client server having access to a human resources database of an organization, a first indication identifying a change in a first employee structure of the organization, the first employee structure indicating an employee status associated with each of one or more of the employees; retrieving permissions data defining access privileges associated with one or more employee statuses within the first employee structure for accessing a protected resource; and updating a user permissions database associated with the protected resource to indicate a change in access privileges for at least one employee of the organization based on the first indication and the permissions data, the user permissions database indicating access privileges for employees of the organization that are authorized to access the protected resource.
Method and apparatus for content curation
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, modifying a user profile associated with a user associated with a content service to generate an updated user profile according to consumption of media content by the user and user feedback information associated with the consumption of the media content, determining a user context according to information associated with user device, where the user context includes current activity of the user, modifying a set of media content according to the user context that is determined to generate an updated set of media content, where a type of media content is eliminated from the set of media content in the updated set of media content according to the user context, and presenting the updated set of content at a presentation device of the user via a personal media channel of the user associated with the content service. Other embodiments are disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING QUALITY OF SERVICE WHILE STREAMING CODE-AGNOSTIC CONTENT
Systems and methods are described for a media guidance application (e.g., implemented on a user device) that improves quality of service while streaming code-agnostic content by optimizing buffering based on bit rate.
Selecting lesson asset information based on a learner profile
A method for execution by a computing entity for creating a learning tool regarding a topic includes issuing a representation of a first set of profile assessment assets of a first learning object to a second computing entity. The method further includes determining a learner profile associated with the second computing entity based on a first assessment response in response to the representation of the first set of profile assessment assets. The method further includes selecting one of the first learning object, a second learning object, and a third learning object as an active learning object based on the learner profile.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING ELECTRONIC CONTENT
Systems and methods are disclosed for processing electronic content, such as text, videos, and images. According to certain embodiments, user interactions with electronic content may be tracked over a plurality of modalities, such as web pages, email, mobile applications, and social media. The tracked user interactions may include copy/paste events, explicit user highlighting, social sharing, and user voting. Key passages of electronic content may be identified based on the tracked user interactions and ranked against one another. Ranking of passages may be based, for example, on a raw or normalized score for the identified key passages. Alternatively, the ranking of a passage may be based on a ratio of user interactions with the passage to total views of the electronic text containing the passage. One or more of the identified key passages (e.g., the highest ranked passages) may be published to one or more applications.
