Embodiments described herein relate generally to apparatuses and methods for structuring and processing data. In some embodiments, a method includes receiving stimulus-response data, via a processor, the stimulus-response data including a digital representation of a stimulus and a digital representation of a response. The processor calculates a weight associated with the stimulus-response data, based on a rule, and identifies: (1) a distribution type, based on the digital representation of the stimulus; and (2) a range of inclination values of the distribution type, based on the digital representation of the response. The processor compiles a compressed multidimensional data profile associated with an object of the stimulus-response data and based on the weight, the digital representation of the distribution type, and the digital representation of the range of inclination values.

Identifying impressions relating to a target publisher that are related to or derived from a user interaction with a content recommendation source. User activity data for multiple users is collected during an activity window. Based on the collected user activity data, an initial interaction by a user with a source is identified and used to establish a source-related user session beginning at a time of the initial interaction and ending after a session period. A set of impressions (e.g., page views) by the user relating to the target publisher occurring during the user session is identified. The identified set of impressions is associated with the user session. A source-related user activity measurement is calculated based on the identified user sessions and associated impressions occurring during the activity window.

Some embodiments provide an end-to-end federated CDN solution that assimilates a transparent caching server that is operated by a transparent caching server operator into a CDN that independently operates CDN caching servers. Specifically, the logs from the transparent caching server are assimilated into the CDN by aggregating the logs from the transparent caching server and processing the transparent caching server logs to identify network usage for content of a CDN content provider customer that is delivered by the transparent caching server. The network usage is then combined with the network usage that tracked by the CDN caching servers in order to provide comprehensive report metrics for the content provider customer and to bill the content provider customer for all network usage related to delivering the content provider customer's content irrespective of whether the content was delivered by a transparent caching server or a CDN caching server.

Next, method includes receiving, from a user, a request for a piece of content from the content and determining that the user from which the request was received belongs to the set of users associated with the first user. The method also includes accessing information associated with the first rating group and determining whether the first rating group includes a rating for the requested piece of content. The method also includes determining whether or not to provide information to the requesting user conditioned on the indication or absence of a rating for the requested piece of content within the first rating group.

In this specification a community is a group of webpages in which users share ideas with one another by posting ideas and sending messages for one another to read. An on-demand community is a community that may be created via tools specialized for creating communities, with just a few keys strokes and/or mouse clicks and by adding information (e.g., about the members and/or the topic or set of topics that the community is focused upon), such that a community maybe established within a short amount of time, such as a few minutes or a few hours. Optionally, the communities may be initially populated with ideas related to a particular topic or set of topics. Optionally, each member may be provided with tools for establishing one or more profile page and/or one or more friend pages.
