Systems and Methods for Utilizing Property Features from Images
20170371897 · 2017-12-28 · ·

A process for locating real estate parcels for a user comprises accessing a library of parceled real estate image data to identify objects and features in a plurality of parcels identified by the user as having a feature of interest. A predictive model is constructed and applied to a geographic region selected by the user to generate a customized output of real estate parcels predicted to have the feature of interest.

System and Method for Part Identification Using 3D Imaging
20170372127 · 2017-12-28 · ·

The system and method deal with three-dimensional (3D) scanning technology which produces object representations which permit rapid, highly-accurate part identification which is not afforded by traditional two-dimensional (2D) camera imaging. The system and method are applicable to any field wherein repair/replacement parts are needed, such as the plumbing, automotive, fastener, marine, window, door, etc. fields

Apparatus, image processing method and storage medium storing program

Images of a layout target for a template are acquired. The plurality of acquired images are edited using editing processing corresponding to a category corresponding to a layout. The edited images are arranged on the template corresponding to the category.

Zoom and image capture based on features of interest
09852506 · 2017-12-26 · ·

Methods and systems for intelligently zooming to and capturing a first image of a feature of interest are provided. The feature of interest may be determined based on a first interest criteria. The captured image may be provided to a user, who may indicate a level of interest in the feature of interest. The level of interest may be based upon to store the captured image and capture another image. The level of interest may be a gradient value, or a binary value. The level of interest may be based upon to determine whether to store the captured image, and if so, a resolution at which the captured image is to be stored. The level of interest may also be based upon to determine whether to zoom to and capture a second image of a second feature of interest based on the first interest criteria or a second interest criteria.

Facial enrollment and recognition system

A facial recognition system includes a memory for storing a facial image database, wherein the facial image database includes a plurality of entries each corresponding to a different person, and wherein each entry includes a person identifier along with one or more facial images of the person. The facial recognition system further includes a facial recognition module that is operatively coupled to the memory. The facial recognition module is configured to receive a new facial image, and to select one or more facial recognition engines based on one or more facial image parameters of the new facial image, and to use the selected facial recognition engines to compare the new facial image with facial models that are based upon facial images stored in the facial image database in order to identify the person in the new facial image.

System and Method for Graphical Resources Management and Computer Program Product with Application for Graphical Resources Management
20170364215 · 2017-12-21 ·

A system and a method for graphical resources management, and a computer program product with an application for graphical resources management are provided, which may capture groups of pixels from imported graphical resources to generate a plurality of graphical items, edit relationships between the graphical items, and generate a graphical data structure that demonstrates the relationships between the graphical items. The invention allows a user to logically manage graphical resources in a structured manner, and thus enables efficient management of graphical resources.

IMAGE-AIDED DATA COLLECTION AND RETRIEVAL
20170364537 · 2017-12-21 · ·

The disclosed invention includes a method and a system for performing image-aided data collection and retrieval, where the data collection and retrieval is related to one or more persons, or subjects or objects associated with one or more persons. The data collection and retrieval is performed with the help of one or more images that contain one or more objects of interest and at least some annotation data related to at least one object of interest. The data collection and retrieval involves: image and annotation collection, image analysis and searching for similar images, data searching and processing, results aggregation and presentation, and optionally collection of feedback.

System And Method For Creating And Sharing A 3D Virtual Model Of An Event
20170365102 · 2017-12-21 ·

A system and method for creating a 3D virtual model of an event, such as a wedding or sporting event, and for sharing the event with one or more virtual attendees. Virtual attendees connect to the experience platform to view the 3d virtual model of the event on virtual reality glasses, i.e. a head mounted display, from a virtual gallery, preferably from a user selected location and orientation or a common location and orientation for all virtual attendees. In one form the virtual attendees can see and interact with other virtual attendees in the virtual gallery.

MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PROGRAM

A medical image processing apparatus includes: a storage unit configured to store original image data associated with a medical image; and an intermediate information generation unit configured to generate, on the basis of the original image data, intermediate information used in predetermined image processing of generating reference image data on the basis of the original image data, and to store the generated intermediate information in the storage unit.

Method for color and size based pre-filtering for visual object searching of documents
09846707 · 2017-12-19 · ·

A method for pre-filtering visual objects on a document is disclosed. A selection of a template visual object with constituent components from a subsection of the document is received. Then, a feature set is derived, including a color list of colors defining the object components, a bounding definition of the object components, and an ancillary raster component intersection flag. A subset of pre-filtered visual objects is generated from the visual objects on the document. These match a predefined criteria based on the color list, live hounding definition, or the ancillary raster component intersection flag. A pre-filtered document raster image is then generated from the document, where the pixels corresponding to the pre-filtered visual objects are included.
