System And Method For Creating And Sharing A 3D Virtual Model Of An Event
A system and method for creating a 3D virtual model of an event, such as a wedding or sporting event, and for sharing the event with one or more virtual attendees. Virtual attendees connect to the experience platform to view the 3d virtual model of the event on virtual reality glasses, i.e. a head mounted display, from a virtual gallery, preferably from a user selected location and orientation or a common location and orientation for all virtual attendees. In one form the virtual attendees can see and interact with other virtual attendees in the virtual gallery.
Method and Device for Manufacturing Objects Having Improved Surface Characteristic
A computer-based method of providing control commands of a control command set for manufacturing a three-dimensional object by means of an additive manufacturing device comprises at least the following steps: a step (S1) of allocating input data that represent at least a partial surface of the object to be manufactured, wherein the partial surface has an initial surface texture, which is defined by a set of initial texture parameter values (201, 501, 601) that characterize the geometry of the initial surface texture, a step (S2, S31, S31a, S31b) of determining a set of target texture parameter values (203, 503, 603) that differ from the set of initial texture parameter values, and a step (S4, S40, S41) of generating control commands of a control command set, by which control commands said partial surface can be manufactured by means of said additive manufacturing device with a surface texture that is defined by the set of target texture parameter values (203, 503, 603).
Matching a spent firearm cartridge
Disclosed is a novel system, and method for matching a spent firearm cartridge. The method starts with applying a directed self-assembly (DSA) process to produce a nano-scale pattern on a tip of a firing pin for a firearm. The DSA process including: a) disposing a neutral substrate on the firing pin; b) lithographically placing two or more base polymer chains on the neutral substrate, at least two of the two or more base polymer chains being different lengths, so that the two or more base polymer chains align end-to-end in an alternating structure, and c) extracting at least one of the two or more base polymer chains leaving at least one of the base polymer chains remaining thereby forming a randomly oriented pattern. Next, the randomly oriented pattern is used as blocking mask to form a randomly oriented metallization pattern.
Method for retrieving similar virtual material appearances
The disclosure notably relates to a computer-implemented method for retrieving a similar virtual material appearance from a database. The method comprises providing a database including virtual material appearances associated to an appearance signatures computed from values representing at least one of a structure, a reflection and a color of the associated virtual material appearance. The method further comprises providing a first appearance signature associated to a first virtual material appearance. The method further comprises identifying one or more virtual material appearances similar to the first virtual material appearance by comparing the first appearance signature with appearance signatures respectively associated to virtual material appearances in the database. The method improves retrieval of virtual material appearances.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTIRESOLUTION AND MULTITEMPORAL IMAGE SEARCH
A system for modular image mining and search, comprising a plurality of image capture devices, a search engine, an indexing engine, a database, and user interface software. A plurality of image capture devices capture images and store them to a database. The indexing engine indexes images to create image data for each image with associated metadata and stores the information to the database. The interface software is used to request search queries via a search engine. The search engine accesses the image data to find images or parts of images that satisfy the search query.
Material search system for visual, structural, and semantic search using machine learning
A material search system, includes a material search server, including a processor, a non-transitory memory, an input/output, a material library for storing material representations, a material search manager, a machine learner, an image translation model, and a semantic model; and a material search device. Each material representation includes a visual image, a color palette, a structural image, and a semantic structure. Also disclosed is a method of searching a material library and generating output material representations; including performing reverse image, reverse structure, and semantic searches; training image and structural translation models; and training a semantic model.
System and Method for an Otitis Media Database Constructing and an Image Analyzing
The invention provides a system and a method for an otitis media database constructing. The steps of method comprise: First, receiving a plurality of tympanic membrane images, wherein the tympanic membrane images are ear infection in different types. Second, choosing one of the tympanic membrane images, then classifying into a plurality of anatomic regions based on a plurality of tissue types. Coding each of anatomic regions with a numerical number to describe its morbid condition, and obtaining an eigenvalue through collecting the numerical number of each anatomic region. Furthermore, repeatedly choosing other one of tympanic membrane images until each tympanic membrane image obtaining the eigenvalue. And obtaining a matrix through collecting the eigenvalue of each tympanic membrane image, then generating an otitis media database.
Automated queuing system
An automated queue is provided including processing circuitry configured to receive an image including a face of a customer, receive an indication of a selected service, enter the customer in virtual queue based on the indication of the selected service, and in response to the customer reaching the front of the virtual queue, causing a transmission of the selected service and at least a portion of the image including the face of the customer to an agent user interface.
Text de-obfuscation with image recognition of text
Techniques are described for a de-obfuscation framework that utilizes image recognition of text. A word input by a user is received by the de-obfuscation service. Visual feature data associated with an image corresponding to each character of the word is generated. Word embeddings are generated using the visual feature data and each character of the word using a character encoder layer. Feature vectors are generated from the word embedding by combining the generated word embeddings and a provided word embedding using a second neural network. The generated feature vector is classified. Potential text obfuscation is detected from the classified generated feature vector using a lexicon to determine de-obfuscated text closet to the user text.
Systems and methods for utilizing property features from images
A process for locating real estate parcels for a user comprises accessing a library of parceled real estate image data to identify objects and features in a plurality of parcels identified by the user as having a feature of interest. A predictive model is constructed and applied to a geographic region selected by the user to generate a customized output of real estate parcels predicted to have the feature of interest.
