HIERARCHICAL MULTI-TIER LANGUAGE PROCESSING PLATFORM
Aspects of the disclosure relate to systems and methods for increasing the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of language processing systems. A provided method may include storing a plurality of modules in a database. The method may include configuring the plurality of modules in a multi-tier tree architecture. The method may include receiving an utterance. The method may include processing the utterance via a natural language processing (NLP) engine. The method may include routing the utterance. The routing may include identifying a highest tier module that matches a predetermined portion of the utterance. The method may include compiling a result set of modules. The method may include transmitting the result set of modules to the system user. The result set of modules may include a comprehensive and narrowly tailored response to the user request.
Query by humming for ringtone search and download
Described is a technology by which a user hums, sings or otherwise plays a user-provided rendition of a ringtone (or ringback tone) through a mobile telephone to a ringtone search service (e.g., a WAP, interactive voice response or SMS-based search platform). The service matches features of the user's rendition against features of actual ringtones to determine one or more matching candidate ringtones for downloading. Features may include pitch contours (up or down), pitch intervals and durations of notes. Matching candidates may be ranked based on the determined similarity, possibly in conjunction with weighting criterion such as the popularity of the ringtone and/or the importance of the matched part. The candidate set may be augmented with other ringtones independent of the matching, such as the most popular ones downloaded by other users, ringtones from similar artists, and so forth.
Photographic memory
A system and method for interacting with a social network database. A user's spoken request is transcribed and associated with metadata comprising location data and sent through a communication port of a mobile electronic device to a social network database. The social network database, in response to the communication, produces a response dependent on the transcribed information and metadata, which is returned to the mobile electronic device, and presented to the user. An ad may be included in the presentation to the user.
CONSOLIDATION OF RESPONSES FROM QUERIES TO DISPARATE DATA SOURCES
Consolidation of disparate data source queries is provided. An application intake component can receive an application package file, and process the file to identify one or more actions and entities for the application. A natural language processor component can receive an input audio signal to identify an action and an entity on which to perform the action. An application delivery component can identify applications that can perform the action and applications that have access to the entity, and then select an application that is configured to perform the action on the entity. The application delivery component can provide an indication of the application selected by the system to a client device.

SONG SIMILARITY DETERMINATION
Aspects of the technology described herein use acoustic features of a music track to capture information for a recommendation system. The recommendation can work without analyzing label data (e.g., genre, artist) or usage data for a track. For each audio track, a descriptor is generated that can be used to compare the track to other tracks. The comparisons between track descriptors result in a similarity measure that can be used to make a recommendation. In this process, the audio descriptors are used directly to form a track-to-track similarity measure between tracks. By measuring the similarity between a track that a user is known to like and an unknown track, a decision can be made whether to recommend the unknown track to the user.
Output provision using query syntax
One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at an audio input device associated with an information handling device, an audible user query; identifying, using a processor, syntactic aspects of the audible user query; determining, based at least in part on the syntactic aspects and regardless of whether a trained answer to the audible user query is available, an answer responsive to the audible user query; and providing, using an output device associated with the information handling device, the answer. Other aspects are described and claimed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTELY INTERACTING WITH PERFORMERS AND INFLUENCING LIVE EVENTS
A computer-implemented method of remotely influencing a performer at a live event via a customer mobile device is disclosed herein. The method includes: displaying a graphical user interface configured to receive user inputs; receiving a first user input including a user request for the performer at the live event; presenting predetermined terms and conditions associated with the user request; receiving a second user input including a user acceptance of the terms and conditions associated with the user request; transmitting the user request to a host server upon receiving the user acceptance of the terms and conditions associated with the user request; receiving a confirmation of the terms and conditions associated with the user request from the host server; and transmitting the user request for receipt by a performer mobile device of the performer during the live event.
Systems and methods for identifying dynamic types in voice queries
The system receives a voice query at an audio interface and converts the voice query to text. The system identifies entities included in the query based on comparison to an information graph, as well as dynamic types based on the structure and format of the query. The system can determine dynamic types by analyzing parts of speech, articles, parts of speech combinations, parts of speech order, influential features, and comparisons of these aspects to references. The system combines tags associated with the identified entities and tags associated with the dynamic types to generate query interpretations. The system compares the interpretations to reference templates, and selects among the query interpretations using predetermined criteria. A search query is generated based on the selected interpretation. The system retrieves content or associated identifiers, updates metadata, updates reference information, or a combination thereof. Accordingly, the system responds to queries that include non-static types.
COVER SONG IDENTIFICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM
A cover song identification method implemented by a computing system comprises receiving, by a computing system and from a user device, harmonic pitch class profile (HPCP) information that specifies one or more HPCP features associated with target audio content. A major chord profile feature and a minor chord profile feature associated with the target audio content are derived from the HPCP features. Machine learning logic of the computing system determines, based on the major chord profile feature and the minor chord profile feature, a relatedness between the target audio content and each of a plurality of audio content items specified in records of a database. Each audio content item is associated with cover song information. Cover song information associated with an audio content item having a highest relatedness to the target audio content is communicated to the user device.
