Apparatuses, systems, and methods for providing access security in a process control system
Apparatuses, systems, and methods of the present disclosure may provide access security in a process control system. For example, current biometric data representative of a user may be acquired and compared to stored biometric data representative of previously identified users. Access to the process control system may be authorized when the current biometric data matches stored biometric data.
Guidance query for cache system
A device may be configured to determine whether an audio file is a first type of audio file that is capable of being processed to recognize the voice query based on a characteristic of the audio file itself or a second type of audio file that may require speech recognition processing in order to recognize the voice query associated with the audio file. In determining whether the audio file is a first type of audio file or a second type of audio file, a query filter associated with the device may be configured to access one or more guidance queries. Using the one or more guidance queries, the device may classify the audio file as a first type of audio file or a second type of audio file based on receiving only a portion of the audio file, thereby improving the speed at which the audio file can be processed.
Systems and methods for identifying segments of music having characteristics suitable for inducing autonomic physiological responses
Systems and methods for identifying the most impactful moments or segments of music, which are those most likely to elicit a chills effect in a human listener. A digital music signal is processed using two or more objective processing metrics that measure acoustic features known to be able to elicit the chills effect. Individual detection events are identified in the output of each metric based on the output being above or below thresholds relative to the overall output. A combination algorithm aggregates concurrent detection events to generate a continuous concurrence data set of the number of concurrent detection events during the music signal, which can be calculated per beat. A phrase detection algorithm can identify impactful segments of the music based on at least one of peaks, peak-proximity, and a moving average of the continuous concurrence data.
MUSIC RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM BY FACIAL EMOTION USING DEEP LEARNING
The system comprises an input device for collecting sound and sound information or extracting sound information from a music sample; a pre-processor for pre-processing the informational collection to generate an input information test set for a characterization model, wherein the pre-processor utilizes fine-grained division and different techniques to preprocess the example informational collection; a central processor for combining sound feeling data and further developing arrangement speed, such that review makes fine-grained division for genuine music informational collection and results the inclination results by casting a ballot direction, which is configured to promote precision of music feeling grouping; a vocal division device for dividing vocal of the complicated structure of genuine music sound, and voice and foundation sound are incorporated together; and a reviewing device for reviewing the vocal detachment of music and reviewing the grouping impact of vocal and foundation sound individually, which incredibly builds the convergence of sound elements.
System for managing transitions between media content items
A system for playing media content items operates to provide smooth transitions between the media content items to continuously support a user's repetitive motion activity. The system can generate crossfade data containing information for transitions between media content items. The mix-in and mix-out points for the transitions are calculated to eliminate one or more portions of media content items that have lower musical energy than a majority portion of the items, and to maintain substantially consistent and/or stable musical energy (e.g., audio power or sound power) throughout the media content items including transitions therebetween.
Accessibility management system for media content items
A system operates to manage accessibility of media content items based on a user's performance of a repetitive motion activity. The system can generate rule data based on a rule designed to permit access to certain media content items. The rule data can include information about various conditions to be satisfied to make the media content items accessible for playback. Such conditions can be associated with a user's performance or status of a repetitive motion activity.
Systems and methods for using imagined directions to define an action, function or execution for non-tactile devices
A system and method for controlling a non-tactile device including a receiving device configured to receive signals corresponding to a user's brain waves or movements, the brain waves or movements corresponding to a series of directional intentions, the intentions defining at least one line pattern, a processor configured to process the at least one line pattern, each of said at least one line patterns associated with an action of the device, and output a control signal to the non-tactile device related to the action.
APPARATUS FOR RECORDING AUDIO INFORMATION AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
The present invention relates to an apparatus capable of recording audio information and a method for controlling the apparatus, the apparatus comprising: a display unit; an input unit for receiving an input of audio information; a detection unit for detecting at least one of a surrounding environment and a bio-signal; and a control unit for recording inputted audio information, extracting a keyword from the recorded audio information, generating image information on the basis of at least one of an analysis result of the recorded audio information and the detection result of the detection unit, and displaying tag information, in which the keyword and the image information area combined, so as to correspond to the recorded audio information.
Environmental acoustic dosimetry with water event detection
In-ear sound pressure level, SPL, is determined that is caused by output audio being converted into sound by a headset worn by a user. The in-ear SPL is converted into a sound sample having units that are suitable for evaluating sound noise exposure. These operations are repeated to produce a sequence of sound samples during playback. This sequence of sound samples is then written to a secure database. Access to the database is authorized by the user. Other aspects are also described and claimed.
Name pronunciation recommendation
A method for recommending the pronunciation of a name includes providing a plurality of audio records wherein the audio records include a set of audio records identifying the pronunciation of a common name. The method also includes analyzing the set of audio records identifying the pronunciation to determine the most frequent common pronunciation of the common name in the set of audio records. Once determined, the most frequent common pronunciation of the common name is presented to an end user.
