METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MANAGING MEDIA CONTENT IN A PLAYBACK QUEUE
A computer-implemented method and system for managing media content in a playback queue. A processing system receives a plurality of data samples generated from a media application in a user device for a plurality of media files, where the plurality of data samples may be based on a plurality of contextual features associated with a a user's interaction with a least one media file of the plurality of media files. The plurality of contextual features can be collected utilizing at least one sensing module in communication with the user device. Further, one or more of the data samples can be associated with an affinity measure indicative of a user's interaction with at least one of the plurality of media files.
ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FOR DIGITAL AND PHYSICAL MEDIA
The disclosure relates to an electronic system and to a method for providing an improved media library to a set of users.
The electronic system comprises an electronic terminal associated with a user. The electronic system submits a physical medium to the electronic terminal based on user profiling. The electronic terminal is configured to request user confirmation that the physical medium submitted should be accounted for in a register of the electronic terminal. It is configured, upon user confirmation, to fetch metadata associated with the submitted physical medium from a register of physical media metadata and store the fetched metadata in a register of the electronic terminal.
Network-assisted remote media listening
Improved approaches for media listening amongst different users are disclosed. For example, methods, systems or computer program code can enable users to have a remote listening experience in real time. Advantageously, a remote user at a remote client device can in effect listen to a particular digital media asset that is being played at a local client device of a local user. Media information and/or user profiles can also be provided about themselves and shared with other users.
Method of Managing an Audio Stream Read in a Manner That is Synchronized on a Reference Clock
A method of managing an audio stream that is read by audio playback equipment in a manner that is synchronized on a reference clock is provided. The method includes the following steps implemented in said piece of audio playback equipment: receiving the audio stream, the audio stream being in the form of packets, each packet comprising a succession of audio samples associated with identification information characteristic of a timestamp of said packet; playing the audio samples contained in each packet and storing a time given by the reference clock that is characteristic of the moment at which a predetermined sample of at least one of the packets is played; and sending a message including correspondence information concerning the correspondence between the identification information characteristic of a timestamp of said packet and the time stored in the preceding step.
CREATING, MAINTAINING, AND GROWING VIRTUAL MUSIC-THEMED WORLD
An adjusting a virtual environment using recommendations, including: retrieving character information from a character database, where the character information is associated with a character associated with the virtual environment, and the character information includes character appearance information, character position information, and character action information; retrieving profile information from a profile database, where the profile information indicates one or more profile characteristics and at least one profile characteristic is related to music; comparing at least part of the character information with one or more of the profile characteristics to determine a comparison result; generating adjustment information based on the comparison result; sending the adjustment information to a client system through a network; receiving an adjustment reply from the client system through the network; and adjusting information for the virtual environment based on the adjustment reply.
MIX TAPE DIGITAL ASSETS IN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS
Managing access to digital content in a virtual environment using virtual content rights, including: providing a virtual content rights database comprising data associating a user of the virtual environment with the virtual content rights acquired with respect to the digital content; receiving a request from a device of the user for assignment of the virtual content rights of the digital content, wherein the user uses the device to interface with the processor; updating the virtual content rights database to indicate the assignment of the virtual content rights to the user; receiving data from the device of the user holding the virtual content rights to digital content including songs to create a virtual mix tape having at least one of the songs; and updating the virtual content rights database to indicate sharing of the virtual mix tape by the user within the virtual environment.
Playback of Media Content According to Media Preferences
Example techniques involve playback of curated playlists based on media preferences. In an example implementation, a playback device receives data representing one or more instructions to play back a particular curated playlist of a streaming audio service and, in response, plays back audio tracks of the particular curated playlist. During playback, when a preference database includes a negative preference for a given audio track, the playback device skips that audio track.
Automated clinical documentation system and method
A method, computer program product, and computing system for proactive encounter scanning is executed on a computing device and includes obtaining encounter information of a patient encounter. The encounter information is proactively processed to determine if the encounter information is indicative of one or more medical conditions and to generate one or more result set. The one or more result sets are provided to the user.
Automated clinical documentation system and method
A method, computer program product, and computing system for source separation is executed on a computing device and includes obtaining encounter information of a patient encounter, wherein the encounter information includes first audio encounter information obtained from a first encounter participant and at least a second audio encounter information obtained from at least a second encounter participant. The first audio encounter information and the at least a second audio encounter information are processed to eliminate audio interference between the first audio encounter information and the at least a second audio encounter information.
Automated clinical documentation system and method
A method, computer program product, and computing system for reactive encounter scanning is executed on a computing device and includes obtaining encounter information of a patient encounter. A request is received from a user concerning a specific medical condition. In response to receiving the request, the encounter information is processed to determine if the encounter information is indicative of the specific medical condition and to generate a result set. The result set is provided to the user.
