MEDIA ITEM MATCHING USING SEARCH QUERY ANALYSIS
20230127706 · 2023-04-27 ·

A system and method are disclosed for media item matching using search query analysis. In an implementation, the method includes identifying, by a processing device, a first media item that has been removed from a media hosting platform due to a removal request associated with a reference media item of a first media owner; identifying, by the processing device, a search query corresponding to the first media item based on a history of search queries, wherein a search result of the search query included the first media item; obtaining, by the processing device, one or more additional media items included in the search result of the search query; and providing the one or more additional media items to the first media owner to determine whether to initiate one or more actions regarding the one or more additional media items.

VIDEO DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS, COMPUTERREADABLE MEDIUM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A video display method includes: displaying an initial video on a user interface in a first display mode; and displaying, in response to a video display mode of the user interface being switched from the first display mode to a second display mode, a target video associated with the initial video on the user interface in the second display mode, the first display mode and the second display mode having different video content display directions, and the target video including at least part of video content of the initial video.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ENCODING AND DECODING OF VIDEO DATA IN CONNECTION TO PERFORMING A SEARCH IN THE VIDEO DATA
20230130970 · 2023-04-27 · ·

There are provided encoding and decoding methods, and corresponding systems which are beneficial in connection to performing a search among regions of interest, ROIs, in encoded video data. In the encoded video data, there are independently decodable ROIs. These ROIs and the encoded video frames in which they are present are identified in metadata which is searched responsive to a search query. The encoded video data further embeds information which associates the ROIs with sets of coding units, CUs, that spatially overlap with the ROIs. In connection to independently decoding the ROIs found in the search, the embedded information is used to identify the sets of CUs to decode.

Methods and systems for presenting alert event indicators

A method is performed at a client device with a display screen, processor(s), and memory storing program(s) for execution by the processor(s). The method comprises obtaining alert events from smart devices at a physical location. The smart devices include a camera located at or in proximity to the physical location. The method further comprises displaying in a scrollable list a chronological sequence of camera event items. Each of the camera event items includes a thumbnail image, a time of the alert event, and one or more activity alert indicators corresponding to predefined activity alert types. The method further comprises receiving a user selection of a first thumbnail image corresponding to a first one of the camera event items, and responsive to the user selection, enabling playback of a video of a first alert event in a video player interface while maintaining display of the scrollable list.

IMAGE SELECTION APPARATUS, IMAGE SELECTION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM

A query acquisition unit (610) acquires a query video. A query frame selection unit (620) selects a plurality of query frames from among a plurality of first frame images included in the query video. A video selection unit (630) selects a video by using the plurality of query frames. At this time, the video selection unit (630) uses references (1) and (2) below as a condition for selecting the video.

Reference (1) A condition that a “similar frame image whose degree of similarity to a query frame satisfies a first reference is present” is satisfied for at least two query frames.

Reference (2) When query frames associated with each of at least two similar frame images are arranged in the same order as that of the at least two similar frame images, the arrangement order coincides with an arrangement order of at least two query frames in a query video.

Systems and methods for generating a search query using flexible autocomplete menus
11468121 · 2022-10-11 · ·

Systems and methods are described herein for generating a search query using flexible autocomplete suggestions. A text input is received, and a plurality of portions of the text input, each corresponding to a different search parameter, are identified. For each of the identified portions, at least one suggested alternate text is retrieved based on the corresponding attribute, and a user interface element is generated for display in which the original text of the respective portion is displayed, along with the suggested alternate texts for that portion, which are selectable by the user. Upon receiving selection of a suggested alternate text in at least one user interface element, a search query is generated based on each portion for which no alternate has been selected, and each selected alternate text. Search request are retrieved in response to the search query, and the results are generated for display to the user.

USER INTERFACES FOR REFINING VIDEO GROUP PACKAGES

This disclosure relates to digital video analysis. In one aspect, a method includes providing a user interface that enables a user of the computing system to select one or more seed video groups and one or more keywords, wherein each seed video group comprises one or more videos. The user interface is updated to provide candidate video groups selected based on the one or more seed video groups and the one or more keywords and, for each candidate video group, a first user interface control that enables the user to refine the set of candidate video groups to include video groups classified as being similar to the candidate video group. Data indicating user interaction with a given first user interface control for a first candidate video group is received. The user interface is updated to provide an updated set of candidate video groups.

Video fingerprinting
11687587 · 2023-06-27 · ·

A query fingerprint of a set of frames of video content captured at a client device may be generated. Multiple patches of the set of frames of video content may be selected and a value calculated for each of the selected multiple patches. The value for each patch may be indicated as a single bit along with an additional 1-bit value to indicate whether the patch value is weak. A database of known reference fingerprints may be queried using the generated query fingerprint. Matches between the query fingerprint and the reference fingerprints may be identified. Weak bits may be given reduced weight in identifying the match of fingerprints. Based on the matches, an identifier for the video content may be returned to the client device. The client device may use the received identifier to access the supplemental content.

Auto-populating image metadata

Methods and systems for auto-populating image metadata are described herein. The system receives or accesses an image. The system then generates a link to a video having a frame that corresponds to the image. To generate the link, the system searches for a video having a frame comprising a portion of the image and generates the link such that the link comprises a timestamp of the frame. The system then modifies the metadata of the image to include the link. Once a user interaction with the image is detected, the system may follow the link to generate for display the video beginning at the timestamp.
